Huawei Nova 5T was launched last September 14 at SM The Block and it marked the biggest nationwide event of what is deemed 2019’s midrange king.
The launch was graced by Nova ambassador James Reid, ML Gamer Akosi Dogie, Bryan Baculi (Head of Huawei Product Training), George Li (Huawei Consumer Business Group Country Head).
The first day sale was instantly greeted by long lines of excited consumers and much fanfare.
Ahead of the official launch, nova 5T received positive reviews from several media. Moreover, the result of pre-orders is proving to be successful. In fact, the pre-order bundle of nova 5T have officially sold out nationwide. Excited consumers queued up to claim their nova 5T along with the slew of freebies which include iFlix Subscription worth PHP 1,308 and HUAWEI Surround Speakers worth PHP 1,990. Apparently, they also shared brilliant responses more than what is expected.
“Maganda ‘yung mga bagong features na inilabas ng Huawei sa nova 5T. For a midrange phone kasi, mataas na ang mga specs niya kaya ako nag-upgrade parang flagship. Gustong gusto ko talaga ‘yung Kirin 980 at 5 AI cameras perfect sa photography and ganming needs ko,” said Paolo Castaneda.
According to Nikko Soriano, the price point of nova 5T is best and valuable for its specs. “Una sa lahat, ang specs ng nova 5T ay mataas talaga para sa price na PHP 18,990. ‘Yung chipset, processor, GPU Turbo 3.0 maganda talaga at hindi ko in-expect. Sa totoo lang, very interested talaga ako sa Huawei kasi alam kong isa na ito sa mga top smartphone brands ngayon.”
Other than freebies, fans and supporters enjoyed the dynamic activities and program. One of the main highlights of the celebration is celebrity singer-actor James Reid who inspired the moment of his fans with a special performance and meet-and-greet.
Expressing full support as the ultimate #NovaStar, James shared what he loves about nova 5T. “It’s young, cool, and hip. My favorite color is the Midsummer Purple. It has holographic design that is really beautiful. There is also Crush Blue and Black that is a style for everyone. Of course, after that, it would have to be the 5 AI cameras.
