Its services include bill payment, online entertainment subscriptions, and purchasing big-ticket items such as appliances and electronics. Through this new partnership, Samsung will specifically offer its market-leading innovations at exclusive discounted rates.

“With the partnership of PLDT Global and Samsung Electronics Philippines, we’re very happy that we can extend our exclusive and amazing offers at Samsung — specifically on the TV and sound device categories,” said Chris Almazan, Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation’s Head of AV at the contract signing.

Beyond that, the partnership aims to help Filipinos who need to earn a living abroad and support their families feel more connected to them and to opportunities that are still available, no matter where they are.

PLDT Global’s Chief Executive Officer Albert Villa-Real asserts, “These partnerships…are about creating meaningful connections that keep Filipinos abroad closer to home, to their families, and to the opportunities that matter the most.”
