Brace yourself for The Walking Dead Season 7 this coming October 24!

Who is excited for The Walking Dead Season 7? Who would you want to save? I am anticipating for Carol and some group for the rescue, but since we are all clueless for what would happen let us all wait for Monday, PH time, to come. October 24th, 2016 at 11:35 AM and 8:55 PM (same day as US)
exclusively on FOX.

“Who did Negan kill?”  That has been the question plaguing the minds of The Walking Dead fans around the world following the cliffhanger ending to season 6 earlier this year.  Fans don’t have to wait much longer to find out with the highly anticipated Season 7 premiering on FOX on October 24th at 11:35 AM and 8:55 PM, on the same day as the US premiere.

To kick off this latest season, FOX is launching ‘The Riding Dead,’ an exclusive VR campaign that places fans in the world of a zombie outbreak.  “You’ve picked the wrong day to be stuck in a traffic jam…” says FOX as the premise of the stunt.  Partnering with Samsung and GrabCar, FOX will offer passengers an opportunity to experience their ride immersed amongst ‘walkers,’ as zombies are commonly referred to in the series, using Virtual Reality technology, promising a ride they will never forget.

Charo Espedido, Head of Marketing and Programming at FOX Networks Group Philippines, said the campaign aims to excite new and die-hard fans alike.

“This campaign was created specifically for fans in Southeast Asia with all the VR content shot in the region as well. We wanted to bring new fans into The Walking Dead world but also heighten the anticipation amongst the fans who have been following the series over the last 6 seasons, especially given the massive cliffhanger in last season’s finale episode. Fans will be mesmerized by the VR experience, and avid fans will also notice certain hints and references to the series storyline that we’ve purposely dropped in. Make sure to look for them!”

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead is an award-winnning drama series and a global phenomenon, following Rick Grimes and his group as they navigate life and dangers after a zombie apocalypse.

The Riding Dead campaign will run in Manila from October 21 to November 17, 2016.  Fans can book a ride through GrabCar’s mobile app and keep a look out for the specially customized The Riding Dead GrabCars on the road.

Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys as new judges of The Voice in Starworld this September 20

Singing a new tune as it returns exclusively to StarWorld this September 20, The Voice will be featuring two new judges for its 11th season. Joining singers Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as judges on The Voice Season 11 are R&B diva Alicia Keys and pop superstar Miley Cyrus, making this season the first ever with two female judges on the panel. Host Carson Daly also returns to present this exciting reality competition for the 11th year straight.

Alicia and Miley are set to inject the The Voice with fresh enthusiasm, with both performers bringing years of experience in the entertainment business as well as having distinct personalities that will complement that of Levine and Shelton well. Although Miley’s wild-child persona initially seems at odds with Alicia’s sophisticated cool, the two artists both have the skills and professionalism to offer contestants solid advice when it comes to performing and developing their vocal talents. Alicia and Miley are replacing Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera on the coaching panel for this season, packing the panel with a feminine power that will appeal to a wide audience and inspire more female singers to come to the fore.

Both Alicia and Miley are familiar to fans of The Voice because they appeared on the show on previous seasons: Alicia served as an advisor for Team Pharrell in the Battle rehearsals in Season 7, while Miley was chosen to be key advisor for the Knockout rehearsals in Season 10. Their increased role in the show puts them in a position to not only determine the best young singers in the US but to also groom them for potentially successful careers in entertainment, lending their expertise and giving them tips for navigating the highly competitive global music industry. Helping the judges develop the talents of their teams as mentors for the Battle Rounds are revered musical artists, including veteran singer Bette Midler for Team Blake, rock legend Sammy Hagar for Team Adam, YouTube success story Charlie Puth for Team Alicia, and rock goddess Joan Jett for Team Miley.

Charo Espedido, Head of Marketing and Programming at FOX Networks Group Philippines, said, “Season 11 of The Voice promises to be a bigger and more exciting series with the addition of Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, two very talented and globally respected performers who are perfect examples of strong women who’ve changed the world of entertainment with their distinct styles. StarWorld is proud to be exclusively delivering this reality series to its solid fan base in the country and holding the banner high for female empowerment.”

The Voice Season 11 premieres on September 20 live via satellite at 1 PM, with two primetime encores at 6 PM and 8 PM. Catch episodes every Tuesday and Wednesday live at 1 PM with primetime encores at 6 PM and 8 PM, exclusively on StarWorld!

Catch My Husband's Lover on FOX Filipino on June 20

Often controversial and always compelling, is probably the best way to describe My Husbands Lover, the series that forever changed primetime TV dramas.

For viewers who are sick and tired of the teleserye formula, about the poor falling in love with the rich and their families making their lives a living hell,  My Husbands Lover was provocative as it was refreshing.

Its such a familiar story, that no one dared to touch because of the stigma of homosexuality.

My Husbands Lover turned Tom Rodriguez  into a certified leading man as Vincent, showcased Dennis Trillo's versatility as Vincent's lover Eric and revealed a new side to Carla Abellana who played Lally, the martyr wife

Ms Kuh Ledesma

FOX Filipino brings back to the screen My Husband's Lover pay-TV premiere on June 20 at Le Jardin, W Bldg BGC. The launch was graced by Ms. Kuh Ledesma,  who portrays Elaine, as Vincent's loving mother, FOX executives, FOX PH Marketing Manager Jude Turcuato, and media.

Jude Turcuato, SVP, General Manager - Philippines, Fox Networks Group

Charo Espedido, Director and Head ofMarketing for FOX Networks Group Philippines said,

“We’re excited to feature a highly lauded production such as My Husband’s Lover on FOX Filipino—it’s a quality Filipino production that not only entertains audiences but also challenges them to question outdated norms. FOX Filipino is giving those who missed out on the series an opportunity to fall in love with its fascinating characters and their struggle to care for each other under rigid expectations from society.”

FOX Filipino has announced that it will soon feature one of the most talked about local drama series in the country, My Husband’s Lover, which premieres on the channel on June 20, 2016. This groundbreaking series that follows the story of a woman’s awakening to her husband’s hidden sexuality will be shown on weeknights, with back-to-back episodes from Monday to Friday, 7 PM to 8:50 PM. Fans of My Husband’s Lover can also get their fill of this critically acclaimed drama with replays on weekdays from 7 AM to 9 AM and marathons every Saturday from 9 AM to 5:55 PM.

My Husband’s Lover centers on the story of Lally (Carla Abellana), a woman who marries
early after being impregnated by her boyfriend Vincent, who in turn strives to become a
good husband. Despite his good intentions, Vincent (Tom Rodriguez) hides a secret deep
inside him that threatens his marriage: his unshakeable attraction to men. When Vincent
encounters his old love Eric (Dennis Trillo), who is openly gay, he slides into a passionate
affair that even Lally can’t ignore in her innocent devotion to her husband. Lally refuses to
give up on her marriage and the future of their children, and she makes a bold decision that
will change her life, Vincent’s, and Eric’s forever.

On its first run, the series gained generally positive reviews from critics and viewers for its
portrayal of tolerance, forgiveness, and a side of marriage rarely seen on Philippine
television. My Husband’s Lover was also given recognition by various local and international
award-giving institutions, including a “highly commended” distinction for Trillo’s portrayal as
Eric at the prestigious Asian Television Awards. It was also nominated in the Telenovela
category at the International Emmy Awards, which recognizes television production
excellence outside the US.

The Outcast: Meant to drive your nerves up the wall

If you are a fan of The Walking Dead like me, surely you'll fall in love to Robert Kirkman's new horror series The Outcast. Kirkman creates character that grows into you as soon as the episodes unfold. Patrick Fugit of  (Almost Famous), who plays the lead character of Kyle Barnes is a young man fighting manifestations of demonic possession. The horror drama series premiered last June 4 on FOX in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, with a simulcast on FOX Filipino and STARWorld.

Outcast, is based on the comic book of the same name by Kirkman and co-creator and illustrator Paul Azaceta,

We had a chance of seeing the first screening prior to its regular showing. The first three minutes was intense and disturbing enough that I nearly fell off my seat.  All the more I anticipated for the second episode.  This is the kind of horror drama series that get me hooked, I downloaded the comic version, and now Im ready for the next TV episode. Bring it on, Kyle!

New Horror Series From Creator Of The Walking Dead Premieres On FOX On June 4
FOX Networks Group (FNG), Asia’s leading pay-TV network, has announced that a new horrordrama series from The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman will be thrilling audiences all over the world when it premieres in June on FOX.

Outcast is set to be FOX’s next global hit series, and is FNG’s first original scripted drama. The
series features an award-winning production team and cast, including Patrick Fugit (Almost
Famous), who plays the lead character of Kyle Barnes, Philip Glenister as Rev. Anderson, Reg
E. Cathey as Chief Giles, showrunner Chris Black, director Adam Wingard, and composer
Atticus Ross. The cinematic treatment of a genre previously unexplored on TV makes Outcast
required viewing for fans of horror and stories about exorcism.

The premiere episode introduces the lead character of Kyle Barnes, a young man from the
small town of Rome in West Virginia who returns home after a long absence. What marks Kyle
is his dark history of having witnessed his loved ones undergo demonic possession—and it’s
the reason why he left Rome in the first place. He returns years later to find the answers behind
his family’s suffering, in the hopes that he can help Joshua Austin, an 8-year-old who lives in
front of the Barnes house and is believed to be possessed by a demon that seems mysteriously
connected to Kyle. Together with Rev. Anderson, a West Virginia evangelist who believes he is
a soldier in God’s holy war against the forces of evil on Earth, Kyle revisits Rome to face his
past, discover his fate, and possibly change the world forever.

To drum up excitement for Outcast, a series of huge wall murals was unveiled in locations with
high foot traffic in 13 countries around the world including the Philippines from May 28 to June 3
to reveal a scene from Outcast’s first episode. Each city’s mural was painted by a local artist
based on illustrations provided by Azuceta to depict one panel from the scene’s storyboard,
similar to panels in a comic book. Renowned graphic design team Team Manila was assigned
to create the Outcast mural in Manila, coloring in Azuceta’s black-and-white sketches and
adding their own flourishes of Filipino culture to the art.

Every few hours, one mural in one city was unveiled online at https://outcastart.tv/ and on social
media until all murals could be arranged by fans in the correct sequence to see a sneak preview
of Outcast’s premiere episode. This global rollout of Outcast that includes countries in Europe
and Latin America as well as Hong Kong and Southeast Asia was kicked off on May 28 at the
London Comic Con, where stars of Outcast were present.

FNG also took promotions of Outcast to the digital realm in order to encourage fans to interact
with the murals. The interactive and immersive website has become a hub for images and video
content created during production of the murals and allows fans to follow them online and
through social media. Those who can visit a mural in person could also unlock previously
unavailable content on their personal devices using geolocation, and if enough visitors log in to
this they will be given access to a longer clip from the first episode of Outcast for an exclusive,
more-detailed preview. More information on how fans can interact with the murals can be found
on the website.

“FOX is excited to be featuring another show that pushes the envelope for the horror genre on TV, and an original scripted drama by FNG at that. We’re confident that Filipino fans who have loyally been tuning in to Kirkman’s previous work on The Walking Dead will embrace Outcast as another fine example of edgy storytelling, relatable characters, and excellent production,” said Charo Espedido, Director and Head of Marketing at FNG Philippines. “Our collaboration with Team Manila for Outcast was also another great opportunity to showcase local artistic talent on an international platform.”
Catch Outcast every Saturdays at 8:55pm beginning June 4, exclusively on FOX
