LG Triumphs at 60th Anvil Awards for Bridging Art and Technology with OLED TVs at the National Museum of the Philippines


LG Electronics Philippines received a prestigious recognition at the 60th Anvil Awards for its campaign, "LG OLED TV Illuminates Artistic Legacy at the National Museum of Fine Arts."

The campaign won a Silver Anvil in the Public Relations Tools (Special Events) category, celebrating its innovative approach to blending technology and culture.

In May 2024, LG collaborated with the National Museum of the Philippines to honor the 140th anniversary of Juan Luna's iconic painting,

Spoliarium.

As part of the initiative, LG donated its cutting-edge OLED AI TVs, equipped with the advanced α11 AI Processor to enrich visuals and provide deeper historical insights, revolutionizing how visitors experience cultural artifacts.

The success of the campaign was made possible through the strategic expertise of M360 PR+Activations Agency, which played a pivotal role in the creative conceptualization and seamless execution of the project. 


From shaping the narrative to orchestrating impactful storytelling, the agency ensured that LG’s cutting-edge OLED technology was not just showcased but also meaningfully integrated into the cultural experience. 


M360 PR+Activations also curated an engaging launch event, bringing together key media partners who amplified the campaign’s reach. Beyond the launch, museumgoers experienced firsthand how innovation enhanced their appreciation of Juan Luna’s Spoliarium, solidifying LG’s role in bridging technology and heritage.

LG Electronics Brings Amazon MGM Studios’ Holiday Blockbuster Red One to Prime Video for LG Customers


LG Electronics (LG) today announced that LG customers will now be able to stream the action-packed film of the 2024 Christmas season – Red One. Red One will be available to all customers with a Prime membership, streaming on LG Smart TVs in over 200 countries. Red One is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Seven Bucks Productions, The Detective Agency and Chris Morgan Productions.  

Available exclusively on Prime Video from today and starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, and J.K Simmons, Red One brings new levels of holiday entertainment, best experienced on LG TVs. 

After Santa Claus – Code Name: RED ONE – is kidnapped, the North Pole's Head of Security (Dwayne Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Chris Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas. 

To celebrate the Red One release, LG and Prime Video are offering a first look at Red One through a series of jointly developed visuals presented on the LG.com website, in addition to online and offline sales outlets and the company’s digital billboards in London’s Piccadilly Circus and New York City’s Times Square, the latter featuring an anamorphic, three-dimensional teaser that gives passers by a taste of the film’s fast-paced thrills. 

As part of this partnership, LG sponsored Red One’s US premiere, which was held at New York City’s iconic Lincoln Center in November. The premiere featured LG TVs displayed throughout the grand venue to give attendees and celebrities the opportunity to immerse themselves in the ultimate viewing experience.

LG's Brand Reinvention: A Global Success Story Driven by Its Transformation into a Smart Life Solutions Company

 LG Electronics (LG) has made significant strides in the global market with its innovative brand strategies, earning its place as a top global brand.

 

 

On October 10, LG was ranked 97th with a brand value of approximately USD 6.5 billion in the Best Global Brands 2024 report by global brand consulting firm Interbrand.

 

Interbrand’s evaluation of the Best Global Brands assesses brand value through a comprehensive analysis of a company’s financial performance, role of brand and brand strength. Factors such as direction, engagement and relevance are considered. As a pioneer in the industry, Interbrand’s ISO-certified evaluation criteria are widely regarded as the most reliable methodology in branding and marketing.


LG’s brand value has surged, reflecting significant improvements in both business and brand competitiveness compared to the previous year. LG’s brand value increased by a substantial 38.7 percent year-over-year, receiving high scores in the categories of role of brand and brand strength.

 

Interbrand attributes this positive assessment to LG’s clear vision as a Smart Life Solution Company and its sustained growth through the exploration of new opportunities. The company has also adapted its brand strategies to ensure consistent customer engagement across diverse regions and generations, utilizing communication methods that resonate with audiences both online and offline.
