OnePlus launches the newest OnePlus 11 Concept phone at (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain

 

Global technology company OnePlus redefines industry standards with new active cooling technology - Active CryoFlux fits in an imaginative design – the newest OnePlus 11 Concept phone, announced recently at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain. 

 

The event also showcased the OnePlus 11 5G – the recently announced flagship which demonstrates latest co-developing technology with Qualcomm and Perfect World Games with in-built AR and ray tracing capability.

Disrupting the future with forward-thinking technology – Active Cryoflux on OnePlus 11 Concept

The main feature of the OnePlus 11 Concept phone is Active Cryoflux—a game-changer in cooling technology, which can reduce the temperature up to 2.1℃, improving the frame rate by 3-4 fps during gameplay^[2]. The Active CryoFlux can also bring the temperature down when charging by 1.6℃ - shaving off  30s-45s from the charging time.

 

Determined to push the limits, OnePlus miniaturized the industry-grade cooling capability of gaming PCs into a smartphone. The state-of-the-art Active CryoFlux functions with the industrial-grade ceramic piezoelectric micropumps at the center, connected to pipelines sandwiched between an upper and lower diaphragm. The micropump takes up an area less than 0.2cm2, enabling the liquid to circulate around the pipelines without significantly increasing a phone’s weight and thickness. 

 

The OnePlus 11 Concept is designed to demonstrate the possibility of Active CryoFlux in terms of aesthetics. The device evokes a futuristic aesthetic with its glass unibody, deeply curved for thinner bezel with a side pull up height of 5.04mm. And a clear rear cover delivers a mesmerizing view of the micro liquid flowing through the pipelines, which is completed with a magnetron-sputtering coating where metal and alloy are deposited in tiny amounts onto the case using an electric field. 

 

The same aesthetic is found in the camera lens. The icy-cold Active CryoFlux liquid flows through the camera in a halo, and the lens area is surrounded by Guilloché etching, a very precise decorative technique that engraves an intricate pattern. This process is used in the design of several luxury timepieces. In yet another industry first, OnePlus draws inspiration from the traditional craftsmanship of a watch, injecting a sense of fashion and artistic flair with the latest advances in technology.  

 

Elevating the entertainment experience on the OnePlus 11 5G with ray tracing technology and Snapdragon Space^TM XR Platform

Supported by Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, the OnePlus 11 5G comes with hardware accelerated ray tracing which is able to simulate real-time light effects. OnePlus partners with multi-awarded film music composer Hans Zimmer

Global technology company OnePlus has notched another feather on its cap by cinching a collaboration with multi-awarded film music composer Hans Zimmer. Through this partnership, OnePlus and Zimmer will tune the Master EQ of the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in a quest to deliver the highest quality for users’ listening pleasure.

 

Hans Zimmer – the man behind the unforgettable soundtrack of a diverse range of blockbuster movies such as Dune, Top Gun: Maverick, and The Dark Knight trilogy – is known for pushing the boundaries of sound so that music helps move the film narrative forward in extraordinary, sometimes unconventional, ways.

A Master EQ, Soundscape

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are equipped with a Master EQ tuned by the legendary Hollywood music composer himself. Named “Soundscape,” the customized EQ has fewer low frequencies than the default setting, as well as a brighter and wider sound field that allows users to enjoy the full orchestral sound of a classical symphony and multidimensional sound of an action film. They will hear the complex and delicate nuances of film scores in their full glory and be able to feel more fully the emotional impact of the music.

 

An EQ is a tool that allows users to adjust the sound signature of their earphones or speakers. It lets them tune the audio to their taste by changing the balance of different frequency components in an audio signal. In the coming months, OnePlus will launch new capabilities that let customers use Alexa to start a Zen Mode session and cast their phones to TVs.
