Sangobion Celebrates ang Lakas ng Dugong Dumadaloy with these 3 Panalong Pinoy Traits”

The Philippines is known for many things – its beautiful beaches, delicious food, and most importantly its warm, loving, and talented people. As much as we as a nation are proud of our natural wonders and resources, nothing screams Pinoy pride more than knowing someone has Filipino blood.

These three Panalong Pinoy traits are just some of the many unique characteristics that make it easy to spot a dugong Pinoy in any crowd.

1.   Bayanihan

Filipino homes extend to the home next to you and the home next to that. It's common to see Filipinos knocking on each other's doors to ask for some extra salt or rice when one household has run out. We grow our communities as much as we grow the individual family, always making everyone feel welcome. This extends to schools and the workplace, too.

2.   Ingenuity and Resourcefulness

Many Filipinos are faced with unequal opportunity to a comfortable lifestyle due to apparent poverty. This reality has made us work even harder and more inventive. In fact, many successful Pinoy businesses have their own humble beginnings and are now paying it forward by providing fellow Filipinos with job opportunities. The recent global health crisis has spotlighted our people's ingenuity yet again, with initiatives like community pantries and other online efforts to help each other cope.

3.   Family-Centered Values

Family is a big presence in every Filipino's life. Unlike western culture where children leave their homes when they are of a certain age, multiple generations of Filipinos, sometimes even extended family, usually live in one household. With such proximity to family, we learn the values of respect for our elders, hard work to provide for family, and loyalty to the bloodline early on. Therefore, even when a family member moves away, they still stay connected and care for each other.

All these characteristics can make anyone proud to have Filipino blood, and it is this pride that binds our people together no matter where we are in the world. Thus, it’s important to keep that blood healthy with proper diet, exercise, and supplements.

Multivitamins + Minerals (Sangobion IRON+) Helps Maintain Lakas ng Dugo

Multivitamins + Minerals (Sangobion IRON+) is an iron supplement with vitamins and minerals that helps to replenish iron stores and increases red blood cell levels in the body. It has ferrous gluconate, a type of iron salt which allows better absorption of iron in the body, Folic acid, and vitamin B12 which are vital for production of red blood cells and during pregnancy. It also contains Vitamin C which helps improve iron absorption, and Copper sulphate and manganese sulphate that helps in the metabolic processes of blood cell production. 1

Recommended intake is one to two capsules daily, during or after meals, or as prescribed by your doctor.

Multivitamins + Minerals (Sangobion IRON+) helps to treat iron deficiency anemia that can lead to weakened immunity and increased susceptibility to infection. Iron deficiency anemia happens when the blood has a lower amount of red blood cells or hemoglobin than normal. This can cause the body to feel weak, tired, dizzy, look pale, and experience headaches. 2

Celebrate the strength in your Filipino blood with a nutritious diet, physical activity, proper sleep, and by taking Multivitamins + Minerals (Sangobion IRON+), you and your family can stay blood healthy.

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Sangobion partners with The Phil.Red Cross for a blood drive "Be a Lifesaver"

Karylle

Before blogging and working in a BPO setting, my life revolves around the hospital that I used to work with and home.  I know how crucial for the patient and relatives to be admitted. Most of the times, a blood transfusion is needed. I have become a blood donor when a co-worker suffered from Dengue 3. Since then, it has been my routine to donate every year. The hospital that I worked with always  coordinates with The Philippine Red Cross when the blood supply declines. The Philippine Red Cross has been actively supporting different hospitals nationwide by providing 25-30% of the country’s needs.  But even then, the supply still doesn’t reach the targeted amount.

Sangobion partners with The Philippine Red Cross for a project that aims to save life and reach the blood requirements of the country. The Sangobion Be A Lifesaver blood letting day was held at SM Fairview last December 5. It was hosted by Patty Laurel with guests Kelly Misa Fernandez and Ms. Karylle.

Merck Inc. partnered with Philippine Red Cross to start a project that aims to help reach the blood requirements of the country. This program is propagated by one of Merck’s leading brands, Sangobion–an organic iron supplement that helps women fight the signs of iron deficiency so they can Go Love Life. As it boosts iron, it also keeps the blood healthy, thus it helps women who take Sangobion to look, feel, and perform at their best.

Sangobion and the Philippine Red Cross run a blood drive called Be a Lifesaver. they encourage women to extend their hand to other women and take the role of a ‘lifesaver’ by simply donating their healthy blood.

The Be a Lifesaver project is the fourth and last phase of Sangobion’s GoLoveLifeprogram–a campaign that aims to encourage women of today to take care of one’s self, to change one’s lifestyle so they can go and enjoy the life they love.  The Be a Lifesaver project, Sangobion aspires to empower women to make a positive difference not just in their own lives but in our society as well. By sharing a small amount of their time and blood, women can show support and care for each other.

Look healthy and lovely with Sangobion and Shu Uemura

 Go Love Life with Sangobion.

I have been taking multivitamins for my skin, hair and body for almost 9 years now. I never leave the house without those, as I dont want to feel sluggish for the day. My life depends on the vitamins and supplements that my body is taking.   I just discovered recently that with the job, my age and the diet that I am in, I need to take Iron supplement and not just Iron but organic iron sulfate to let me last the day and to sleep soundly. Our body needs at least 8 hours of quality sleep, and needed the right amount of nutrients and protein to keep us healthy, but since Im not eating meat, I lack  protein and iron, that is why Im switching to Sangobion iron Sulfate to keep the balance.

Sangobion recently celebrated their Sangobion's Go Love Life campaign at the Crowne Plaza last August 16, 2014.   This was their second installment from May of this year. the campaign reminds women to make their health and well-being a priority so that they can go with their lives healthy and beautiful as well.

Sangobion partners with Shu Uemura the japanese makeup and skincare in making filipina women beautiful and well pampered. Shu Uemura has been my personal high end beauty staple for such a long time now, I am loyal to their cleansing oil and the curl lash which is my holy grail for almost a decade.

A Shu Uemura booth was situated inside the event to help women achieve the beauty that they deserved, complete with liquid foundation, brushes, eye pencils and make up assistants to teach them on how to put the right shade of foundation, how to draw an inside lid liner, to always put a sunblock with the right spf to keep the age at bay, how to achieve a cat-eye liner, and many more.

Forty lucky ladies had their hair and make-up done by expert stylists, and also got to take home gifts from Shu Uemura. It was a fun afternoon of beauty and pampering. While Sangobion helped them stay healthy on the inside,  Blo Blow Dry Bar also  helped the lovely ladies look as good as they feel.

On social media, Sangobion challenged women to make a pledge to change for the better. Through an online promo, many women submitted their own pledges.

Unlike other iron supplements, Sangobion has Ferrous Gluconate, an organic iron, which is absorbed better by the body to help fight the signs of iron deficiency such as paleness, fatigue, dizziness, and lack of focus and concentration. Each capsule is chocolate-scented that leaves no iron after-taste.  Sangobion also contains essential vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C, Folic acid, Vitamin B12, Copper, and Manganese to build healthy red blood cells and immune system. It also contains sorbitol which acts as an anti-constipation agent that generally occurs in iron supplementation.  Taking Sangobion everyday can help you boost your iron, so that you can look and be at your best.

Cheska Kramer Shows the Importance of Sangobion

Sangobion shows women the value of taking care of oneself & loving life

Cheska Kramer with son Gavin

Sangobion ambassadors led by Chezka Kramer and Jenni Epperson launched the organic iron made Sangobion in media on May 6, 2014 at Makati Shangrila.  Kelly Misa hosted the event, while Dr. Sylvia Carnero informed the effects of lack of iron in women. Women who were present at the event were treated to an afternoon of relaxation and pampering by having a nail spa and styling their hair. The event was turned into a salon-like party.

Women are natural nurturers. Some women love cooking for others, some like to give gifts, while others enjoy lending a helping hand. It is in these acts of kindness that we often feel happy and fulfilled. Though we have much love to share, we often show love for ourselves the least.  But by focusing on our own well-being and pampering ourselves once in a while, we learn that in order to give love, we must begin loving ourselves first.

This is the kind of self-empowerment that Sangobion (ferrous gluconate + vitamins and minerals) would like to advocate to women all over. The demands of modern life often make women feel pressured both at home and at work –making it easy for women to neglect themselves. The Sangobion Go Love Life! campaign reminds women that while we take care of others, we must not forget to take care of ourselves as well. When we are at our best selves, then we can lead a life that we love.

Kelly Misa hosted the Sangobion event
The event demonstrated to women how regularly taking time off and boosting your health with Sangobion can help you to go and love life.Unlike other iron supplements, Sangobion contains Ferrous gluconate, an organic iron, which is absorbed better by the body to help fight the signs of iron deficiency. Each capsule is chocolate-scented that leaves no iron after-taste. Sangobion also contains essential vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C, Folic acid, Vitamin B12, Copper, and Manganese to build healthy red blood cells and immune system. It also contains sorbitol which acts as anti-constipating agent that generally occurs in iron supplementation.

Furthermore, Sangobion helps fight signs of iron deficiency like fatigue, paleness, dizziness, and lack of focus and concentration which women experience when they neglect themselves. Taking Sangobion everyday can help you boost your iron, so that you can look and be at your best.
The launch was also the kick-off for Sangobion’s 15-day challenge. In addition to taking Sangobion everyday for 15 days, these women also made the pledge to practice loving themselves first and to encourage other women to do the same.

Sangobion is also partnering with select establishments to treat women to special pocket events including a shopping spree and a makeover session, which are expected to draw in more women to the cause.

Sangobion’s new efforts truly show women that caring for others also means having a healthy relationship with yourself. It’s about loving yourself first so you can fully embrace the life you lead.
