Warner Music Philippines is holding an exclusive album listening experience at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Eye on May 4, 2023. This is the day before Ed Sheeran is set to release his latest album across all platforms. 

Each cabin on the MOA Eye will be converted into a private ‘Subtract’ listening booth, where fans will have the once-in-a-lifetime experience of riding the ferris wheel while enjoying snippets of new music from Ed Sheeran. Those who want to take part in this event simply need to visit the MOA Eye during mall hours and pre-save the album on their listening platform of choice – it’s that easy! 

As if being the first to hear ‘Subtract’ isn’t exciting enough, those who are lucky enough to be part of this event will also get the opportunity to win official Ed Sheeran merchandise. 

 

Those who have been following the British singer-songwriter’s journey know that his upcoming album will be the most honest and vulnerable one yet, as it draws from hard-hitting events that Ed has faced in recent years.

He recently released a new single called “Eyes Closed,” which has an upbeat pop feel to it. However, closer inspection of the lyrics reveal that it captures the essence of love and loss, which is also reflected in the official video.

 

“This song is about losing someone, feeling like every time you go out and you expect to just bump into them, and everything just reminds you of them and the things you did together. You sorta have to take yourself out of reality sometimes to numb the pain of loss, but certain things just bring you right back into it,” Ed shared about the song and its video. 

 

If this single gives any indication of what we can expect from ‘Subtract,’ it’s clear that Ed’s new album will be one that bares his soul and taps into his most genuine emotions.

Warner Music PH signs up new homegrown artists

Warner Music Philippines recently announced its four new signed artists Quest, St. Wolf, Keiko Necesario, and Leanne & Naara during its Christmas party with the press last December 5, 2019 at 19 East, Sucat, Muntinlupa City.    

  

The Philippine premiere Filipino singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer Quest is best known for his 2012 hit song “Sige Lang,” which topped numerous charts, garnered various awards, and even became the theme song for the basketball team Gilas Pilipinas. 

In 2016, Quest was awarded with the Best Inspirational Song for his single “Higher,” and Album of the Year for “Life of a Champion” at the Awit Awards. Early this year, he released a new single called “Permanente” with Kianna Valenciano, and since then, he has been focusing his career on his new album “Dream Awake.” 

St. Wolf is an up and coming band who started in 2015. Consisting of members KL Dela Cruz (vocals), Vince Lucero (guitars), Karlo Maglasang (bass) and Bob Sadural (drums), St. Wolf has released remarkable songs such as "Papara," "Taguan" and "Jealousy.” The band is part of the latest Coke Studio Philippines series.

Keiko Necesario is a singer-songwriter who has been independently creating her own albums and songs. In 2015, she released and produced her very first album, a ten-track compilation called “Through It All.” Her cover of the song “Both Sides Now” by Joni Mitchell was featured on the British TV series “Ackley Bridge” early this year. Keiko’s songs such as “While We Are Young,” “Panaginip” and “Paano Na” among others comprised the original motion soundtrack of “Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wifi” released in 2017.  



Leanne & Naara, a rising singer-songwriter duo has been playing since college and was formed in 2012. After releasing their single “Again” in 2016, the song topped the charts on Spotify ranking number one in the Philippines and number twelve in the Global Viral Charts. Since then, they have released new singles including “New York and Back,” “Make Me Sing,” “Rest,” “Destination,” and even their own version of fellow Warner Music Philippine artist Nina’s “Someday.”

Warner Music's Charlie Puth is featured artist at the Wish 107.5 Bus

Calling the attention of Charlie Puth‘s fans in the country!



On June 19. some of the much sought after local acts will gather for a special Roadshow episode that will showcase the Grammy-nominated singer's biggest hits. The mini concert starts at 4PM will be staged live on the Wish 107.5 Bus parked in front of Uptown Mail in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Soul Siren Nina

The show presented by Wish 107.5 and Warner Music Philippines will feature OPM's Soul Siren Nina alternative rock band Altitude acoustic duo Leanne & Naara, neo-soul outfit Midnight Meetings.

Apart from the performances. the event will also highlight the promotion of Charlie's newest single. 'Attention.’

Attention is a funk and disco-injected pop rock tune released late in April this year. The groovy mid-tempo track is the lead single of his upcoming full-length album.







Since it was unveiled, the song has already been certified silver in the United Kingdom it also earned the New Jersey-born artist his fifth US. Top 40 hit after "One Call Away," "Marvin Gaye," "We Don't Talk Anymore," and the chart-topping Wiz Khalifa collab, "See You Again."

Charlie gained international fame with his debut studio album, “Nine Track Mind.’ The effort peaked at the sixth spot of the Billboard 100.
