Bayad Brings Real-Time Meralco Payments to 7-Eleven CLiQQ Kiosks

 Busy lifestyles have led a lot of Filipinos to rely on doing one-stop-shop errands at convenience stores like 7-Eleven. Apart from buying goods, ready-to-eat cooked meals, and beverages, Meralco bills can also be paid at 7-Eleven CLiQQ Kiosks, available in over 4,100 branches nationwide.

Apart from enabling 24/7 payments at the ease of your own neighborhood, 7-Eleven has partnered with Bayad, accelerating Meralco payments from 24 hours to real-time or instantaneous posting. This will greatly benefit more Filipinos as it allows them to pay on time, and avoid overdue bills or disconnection notices.

Philippine Seven Corporation Marks 40th Anniversary with the Opening of Its 4000th 7-Eleven Store


If my partner and I are too lazy to cook for lunch or dinner, or if we're craving ice cream, 7-Eleven is our go-to for quick food and drinks. I love that they always have ready-to-eat meals and snacks available anytime of the day. Plus, 7-Eleven just celebrated its 40th anniversary with the opening of its 4000th store!

 The Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC), the local licensee of 7-Eleven convenience stores, marked a major milestone this week with the opening of its 4000th store. This achievement, which coincides with the company’s 40th anniversary, underscores the impressive growth of the Paterno-led company since its inception. The landmark store, located in the bustling Newport District of Pasay City, is a testament to PSC’s journey from a single location to becoming an essential part of Filipino daily life.

A Milestone Four Decades in the Making

PSC first opened its doors on February 29, 1984, with a modest store located at the corner of EDSA and Kamias Road in Metro Manila. Since then, 7-Eleven has expanded into a household name, serving millions of Filipinos across the country. “Reaching 4000 stores is an incredible milestone that reflects the trust and loyalty we’ve earned from our customers over the years,” said PSC co-founder and chairman Jose T. As PSC celebrates this milestone, the company’s growth strategy is far from slowing down. As 7-Eleven marks its 40th year in the Philippines, the brand is celebrating more than just a milestone filled with exciting promos and new product releases. Level Up Your 7-Eleven Experience: Pokémon Joins Forces with 7-Eleven for Exclusive Merch and Fun!


In its constant pursuit to foster community, 7-Eleven has mastered collaborating with popular brands that can stir excitement among its customers. This month, 7-Eleven goers can jump on another awesome adventure as a legendary partnership is making noise in regions far and wide: that between the convenience store giant and one of the most beloved media franchises in the world, Pokémon.

Customers can now venture to the branch nearest to them for the full Pokémon experience by channeling their inner trainer and catching their coveted Pokémon through the Pokémon GO app. 

 

Gamers can then take a break from playing and enjoy their go-to 7-Eleven products wrapped in Pokémon-themed packaging. There’s Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur for Crunch Time; Pikachu and Snorlax for 7-Fresh Siopao; Meowth for Big Bite; Jigglypuff for Fundae; Gyarados for GULP; Eevee, Flareon, and Jolteon for the small, medium, and large cups of City Cafe respectively; and Umbreon for Prima. The themed packaging is currently available in 7-Eleven Luzon stores, but will be implemented across the country from October.
