Realme Philippines is looking for its next brand ambassador


Leading smartphone brand realme Philippines is looking for its next brand ambassador. The brand, which anchors itself on youthful vigor and character, is inviting 18 to 30-year old game changers ready to take on the dare to represent the brand and the real value it offers.

Two winners, one male and one female, will be enjoying a cash prize of PHP 50,000 each, the latest realme smartphone which will be launched before the year ends, PHP 5 million worth of promotional literature exposure and realme branded items such as the realme tech backpack and buds.

The winners will also be personally hosted by the realme Philippines team in the realme headquarters in Taguig City for an array of photo and video shoots.



"Realme would like to offer a creative platform to the youth who embody the brand's core of youthful energy and real value. We look forward to receiving your entries. We are excited to create fun and exciting campaigns and content with you," shares realme Philippines Marketing Lead, Eason de Guzman. 

In a 1-minute entry video, interested participants must explain why they are the perfect fit in representing a brand that is proud to be young. The participant must exhibit pride in what she or he dares to do as a young trailblazer, example being, “I dare to be extreme because the world is filled with adventures that I am excited to try”. All entry videos must start with a realme clip that can be downloaded through this link.  The entry must be posted publicly across all the social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – of the participant.

Realme Philippines must be tagged in the post @realmePH and hashtags #DareToRepresentRealme and #RealmePH must be included in the caption. Deadline of submission is on September 01.

On September 09, the new realme brand ambassadors will be announced through a livestream on the official Facebook page of realme Philippines.

Thousands of customers availed of their pre-ordered OPPO F7 smartphone



Technology stores nationwide filled up on the first day sale of the much-anticipated OPPO F7. The selfie expert brand exceeded customer expectations by achieving a total of 37,687 units sold on the first day of sale, breaking the company’s previous record of 33,000 units for predecessor OPPO F5 last October 2017.



After a week-long wait, customers were happy to avail of their OPPO F7 smartphone, together with freebies as a privilege for being part the pre-order period. OPPO stores in various locations nationwide accepted pre-order customers upon opening and generated long lines and huge crowds.

“OPPO F7’s outstanding value for money and selfie expert features are what captured the Filipinos’ interest.  We believe that more than the F7, people now see OPPO as a brand that can be their partner in their daily lifestyle,” said Eason de Guzman, OPPO Philippines’ Public Relations Manager.

OPPO empowers the Youth through Unilab Foundation’s Ideas Positive



International smartphone brand OPPO believes in the power of the youth. With this in mind, the brand conducted its first CSR activity for 2018. OPPO Philippines teamed up with Ideas Positive, the country’s premier youth engagement program for healthier communities. Ideas Positive is a program of Unilab Foundation whose mission is to build a healthier Philippines.

OPPO Philippines donated OPPO F5 Youth units to the youth teams during the boot camp of at Camp Allen, Santa Cruz, Laguna. OPPO phones will be used by the participants in sharing their journey and capturing the best moments and experiences with their communities. The goal is to help the youth spread the word about the innovative health solutions that Ideas Positive are implementing in their communities through social media.



“We are grateful that OPPO partnered with Ideas Positive. For the past years, majority of our participants use their own mobile phones in documenting their projects. However, not all of them own good quality smartphones that can take quality photos and videos. OPPO’s support this year is a big help to the youth teams in documenting their project implementation,” said Alfred Dicto, Project Lead for Ideas Positive. 

Already on its eighth year, Ideas Positive holds a nationwide competition where youth teams can develop innovative solutions that address health issues in the community level. Among hundreds of entries, seventeen teams were chosen this year to participate in a three-day boot camp, where they learned the basics of project management, leadership, and communication. Each team will receive up to Php100,000 in funding to implement their project with their chosen community.

 “OPPO believes that the youth plays a huge role in nation-building. We are glad to partner with Ideas Positive in supporting and empowering the Filipino youth,” said Eason De Guzman, OPPO Philippines’ PR Manager. “We have seen how enthusiastic and passionate the participants are in helping the communities. We hope that with OPPO’s support, the teams will be able to capture their best moments and share their wonderful stories and experiences with their communities,” de Guzman added.

The teams with the best health outcomes will be announced in August 2018, and will be awarded with cash prizes and smartphones from OPPO Philippines.
