Lenovo Vibe Shot captures the VIBE On at Art In Island

What better way to capture Art in Island, the Interactive Museum in Cubao  using the  Lenovo Vibe Shot, all of us (from the media) posed with the 3D paintings displayed inside the museum,  from floor to ceiling.  It was indeed fun as all of us became competitive upon learning that a contest for the Best VIBE On shot using the Lenovibe Vibe Shot would win us the smart phone.

Lenovo announced the launch of VIBE ON last July 29 at Art In Island, Cubao with Lenovo Vibe On ambassadors Monika Sta. Maria and Alyssa Valdez.   A new and vibrant campaign identity aimed at strengthening awareness of its smartphones globally. VIBE ON is an extension of Lenovo’s overarching master brand position, predicated on the belief that life rewards those that never stand still.

Targeted predominantly at millennials, the VIBE ON brand promise aims to empower individuals to go their own way, by providing smartphones with the latest technology and features that they care about, at a price they wouldn’t expect.

Consumers nowadays are increasingly savvy and price conscious. Most of them are discerning enough to trade “good-to-have” features for products that offer outstanding value,” said Dino Romano, Country Lead, Lenovo Smartphones, Philippines. “The VIBE ON promise emphasizes our belief in making cutting-edge technologies with innovative designs but a price that is not expensive and exclusive.”

The design philosophy behind Lenovo's VIBE series of smartphones is embodied across three main product pillars – a seamless camera experience, enhanced multimedia capabilities, and an adaptive VIBE user interface. A great example is the latest Lenovo VIBE Shot, which offers the best of both worlds by combining a premium 4G smartphone with a high-performance camera that incorporates advanced “prosumer” hardware and features that budding and seasoned photographers will love.

Today, Lenovo also introduced the official VIBE ON campaign ambassadors for Philippines, Monika Sta. Maria and Alyssa Valdez. Monika was recently part of the top 3 in Asia’s Next Top Model while Alyssa is a multi-awarded athlete from Ateneo De Manila University and considered as best collegiate volleyball player in the Philippines today. Both ambassadors are successful in their chosen fields and an inspiration to millennials today.

The bold and lively VIBE ON branding will be integrated end-to-end for the smartphone business to provide a seamless consumer experience – from advertising to packaging and accessories to the VIBE UI.

We all have it in us. A thing that’s just ours.
A style. An idea. A spirit.
A voice that says you’re here to do something great.
Something that hasn’t been done — by you. Maybe by anyone.
It calls you to go your own way.
Stand out from something. Stand up for something.
Be adventurous and free.
Go on.
Charge on.
Rock on.
Play on.
Power on.
Keep on.
Because great things are waiting.
And we want to help make them yours.

Lenovo VIBE.
VIBE ON.

Mood food plus good books equals great moments at Book and Borders Cafe

Reading is one of my favorite past time, believe it or not, I have survived boredom, coped up with stress during my one year stint working at another country reading Gone Girl and Dark Places by Gillian Flynn alone.  It  helped me through a lot of waiting and lining up paying my utilities, it helps me de-stress and I guess it would helped  me protect my brain from Alzheimer's disease when I hit my 50s and on.

That's why I have been on the lookout for a coffee shop that would help me relax during the weekends with a wide selection of coffee table books, good food and gourmet coffees .  Im glad Book and Borders Cafe from Timog offers both.

The Book and Borders Cafe was launched last July 28 at Sct. Castor, Timog. Present during the launch was the self-confessed book lover ambassador and part owner Ms. Karylle and business partner Benjamin Alves. With guest celebrities, Ariella Arida, Venus Raj and Wyn Marquez.

Book and Borders Cafe serves delicious muffins, breads, cupcakes, pies, tarts, squares, doughnuts, and cakes (Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake), Book and Borders also serves more filling menu options like pasta (Truffle Mushroom Pasta, Tuyo Pasta), sandwiches (Beef Pastrami Panini), even salad and breakfast options. For drinks, there’s coffee of course, in a variety of options, as well as refreshing smoothies for hot days.

Putting together two of your favorite past times, reading and enjoying a cup of coffee, in just one place, newly-opened Book and Borders Cafe is set to become one of the metro’s more popular hangouts.

Charming and inviting, Book and Borders is the latest themed cafe to open in Quezon City, catering to customers who have an appreciation for good books and equally good food and coffee.

Located at 281 Tomas Morato, Quezon City, Book and Borders, unlike other crowded cafes where people are more engaged in chit chat, has purposely turned their space into something that is more relaxed and quiet.

This is because the cafe encourages customers to go through their extensive selection of books, and take their time to hangout or read. In fact, the cafe also makes book stands available for its customers, to make reading their chosen book, much easier.

Complementing the nice ambiance and the library aspect of the cafe are delicious light fare and refreshing drinks.

The café’s brand ambassadors, Karylle and Benjamin Alves are both book lovers, and represents what the café wants to promote very well; which is to encourage the habit of reading as well as indulging in one‘s love for coffee. The two self-confessed book lovers were present at the cakes grand opening last duty 28, wherein guests were treated to the café’s bestsellers and were given the chance to enioy the selection of books that are available.

Carrying the tagline, Read. Sip. Dine. Book & Borders is definitely a must-try not iust for book lovers and coffee iovers but anyone who is looking for a nice place to hang out in the busy metro.

YouPoundit.com was launched last July 28 at Gandiva Archery Range and Cafe. One Corporate Center, Pasig.  Kristian Salvo , Founder and CEO, Youpoundit.com ambassadors Lourd de Veyra,  Jun Sabayton and Ramon Bautista graced the launch.

A new e-commerce player in the country shared its plans and aspirations today about being a big player in the market by focusing on one very important aspect – the customer.

“We are very excited to finally share what we’ve been working on this past 9 months,” said Kristian Salvo, Founder and CEO. “With our growing selection of brands & product offerings, compelling and entertaining content, and awesome customer service, YouPoundit.com is a great destination for your tech needs here in the Philippines.

As an online store, YouPoundit.com is first and foremost a service business with the primary goal of giving the best customer experience possible. This experience is comprised of three core principles:

1. Product Selection – with true relationships with the brands and/or it’s authorized distributors, customers have peace of mind when browsing through YouPoundit.com’s curated product offerings.
2. Content – entertaining and educational content to help customers decide on the best products for them and have fun at the same time
3. Customer Service – genuine customer service from pre-sales all the way to after-sales putting the customers needs first

"The easiest way to turn off a customer is when you continuously fall short of their expectations. Yet there seems to be an abundance of businesses here in the Philippines that continue to do so. They all lack one important trait – being customer-centric. We as consumers suffer and tend to settle due to lack of better alternatives," said Salvo. "We would like to give you a better alternative with YouPoundit.com"
