Introducing Under Armour's 2020 Global Brand Platform—The Only Way Is Through

One last drive. Three seconds left on the clock. The point two of 26.2. 5:00 a.m. after 5 straight days. Bumps, bruises, and breaks—mental and physical. In an athlete’s life, barriers are everywhere. Decode Your Pizza Personality This #GreenwichWorldPizzaDay

Everyone has their own style of doing things – from speaking, walking, dressing up, and working in the office. But did you know that the way you eat also reveals a lot about your personality? Take pizza, for example. You’d be surprised by the different ways barkadas satisfy their pizza cravings. If that’s hard to believe, then test it out with your closest friends during Greenwich’s World Pizza Day celebration this coming February 9!

Greenwich, the number one pizza and pasta brand in the country, will take Php 100 off on every barkada size Hawaiian Overload pizza delivery order made on February 9, Sunday, between 10am to 4pm. Have a taste of summer as early as February this #GreenwichWorldPizzaDay by ordering exclusively through www.greenwichdelivery.com, #5-55-55 hotline or via SMS.
Topped with sweet pineapples, melt-in-your-mouth cheese, savory ham, bacon bits and fresh green bell peppers, the Hawaiian Overload pizza has a savory-sweet summery taste that everyone can enjoy.  With the upcoming promo, you can truly eat more of the best-selling Hawaiian Overload and check out your and your kabarkadas’ pizza personality!
1.     The Folder. A Folder is your kabarkada who folds a pizza slice lengthwise, so it fits exactly into one’s mouth. A perfectionist to the core, he or she meticulously calculates all decisions, whether life-changing or routine, to ensure that everything’s in order which is like the way he munches on pizza. The Folder carefully checks that all the toppings are neatly tucked in so that no ingredient, from the sweet pineapples to the savory ham, will fall outside when he/she takes a mouthful bite.

2.     The Doughboy. Also known as Breadwinners, this kabarkada nibbles on the outer pizza crust first towards the tip. Intelligent and unique, this individual doesn’t care what other people think or do (which is not eating the crust), as long as his/her pizza cravings are satisfied. This kabarkada is rare and prefers to stand out because he knows that the crust makes all the difference in a pizza – particularly if it’s freshly-made daily like Greenwich’s.

3.     The Topper. This kabarkada eats his/her favorite toppings first before devouring the rest of the pizza. Self-assured and confident, he/she knows what he wants and wastes no time getting it, which is why this friend plucks out and eats the savory meat and sweet pineapple off the pinya-sweet and pinya-sarap Hawaiian Overload first – before anything else. The Topper is decisive down to the crust.

4.     The Untouchable. There’s only one way Untouchables eat pizza – and that’s with a knife and a fork. Refined and sophisticated, these people appreciate the finer things in life. This kabarkada prefers things that are consistent with great quality, which is why Greenwich is on his or her speed dial! The Untouchable just can’t wait to grab his or her own box of the discounted barkada size Hawaiian Overload pizza this coming World Pizza Day on February 9, from 10 AM to 4 PM (hotline, website and SMS delivery transactions only, for up to 4 barkada size Hawaiian Overload orders per transaction).

Treat the entire barkada to a Pinya-Sweet and Pinya-Sarap experience! Order boxes of Hawaiian Overload for everyone in the barkada via delivery exclusively through www.greenwichdelivery.com or call #5-55-55 for a truly crave-worthy #GreenwichWorldPizzaDay!

6 eyeliner styles for every woman

A trusty eyeliner is part of every girl’s makeup staples. With a simple glide and proper techniques, you will surely rock this makeup style. Below are eyeliner methods perfect for every eye shape so you can effortlessly slay your M.O.T.D (Makeup Of The Day).

The Careline Graph Ink eyeliner is one of the best in the market with consecutive recognitions, the Best Liquid Eyeliner at Cosmo Beauty Awards 2018, Metro Beauty Awards 2018, and Cosmo Beauty Awards 2019.

Natural
Nothing beats the classic. Highly ideal for any eye shape, the natural eyeliner style is probably one of the easiest to make. Start by drawing a thin line on both ends of your eyelids. Then draw another, this time thicker, lines from the middle of your eyelids outwards to create wings.

Doll Eyes
The doll eyes makeup technique is perfect for women with round eyes. Slay this style by drawing a simple cat eye from the inner corner of your eyes, outwards. Then, to create a more dazzling eye makeup, add glittery eyeshadow and use lash extensions both for your upper and lower eyelashes. Finish the look with preferably brown contact lenses.

Thick
Another technique that is ideal for those with monolids is the thick eyeliner which aims to define the outer corners of the eyes. Starting with thick lines on the inner corners, gradually add more volume from the middle of the upper lash line to the wings.

Floating Eyeliner or Double Line
This makeup technique has a lot of variations but is most ideal for girls with hooded eyes. Accentuate your eyes even more by going extra on your typical cat eye. To achieve this look, draw a thin line from your wing which extends up to your inner crease to create an illusion of bigger lids. Finish of the look with a swoosh of mascara.

Artsy or Cute
For a funky and stylish technique that would most definitely suit any eye shape, try the artsy eyeliner. Simply draw a heart shape on top of your eyebrow down to your cheekbone. This technique will surely bring your eye makeup game to another level and help steal the spotlight on your upcoming holiday gatherings.

An eyeliner is almost an essential in every makeup look and with these methods, you will no longer have to experiment what kind of eyeliner style would look best on you. Walk confidently in a sea of people and draw their attention to your eyes with Careline Graph Ink eyeliner – smudge-proof and waterproof eyeliner that features a long-lasting and water-based formula with high-precision felt-tip applicator for easy application.

BRIA Homes gives back through ‘Share the BRIA Love’ event for ALAY PAG-ASA Christian Foundation, Inc.

Sparked by its vision of providing a home for ordinary Filipinos, nothing has stood in the way of success for BRIA Homes, now considered the fastest-growing mass housing developer in the country. Thus, with a strong sense of gratitude, BRIA spread its blessings by joining ALAY PAG-ASA Christian Foundation, Inc., a non-government organization that helps indigent children, the youth, and their families, in a feeding program held last December 21.

In an effort aptly termed “Share the BRIA Love,” officials and employees of BRIA Homes held a donation drive prior to the event, collecting rice, vitamin C, canned goods, kitchen utensils and equipment, milk and sugar, condiments such as vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce, cooking oil and salt, and cleaning products and materials such as mops, soaps, and detergent powder—the identified needs of ALAY PAG-ASA.

During the event, Ms. Maris Masilungan and Ms. Melly Basilio received the goods in behalf of ALAY PAG-ASA, which started as a shelter for street children and has since embraced more individuals and families that need support and compassion.

“Share the BRIA Love” is just one of the many efforts of BRIA Homes to help the Filipino people. After all, its winning formula, Affordability (Mura) + Quality (Dekalidad) = a Beautiful BRIA Home for Every Filipino, was formulated in line with the company’s goal: to help every Filipino have a home of their own.
Through this formula, ordinary Filipinos can now purchase a BRIA unit for very affordable monthly amortizations, and through flexible payment schemes, such as bank-financing and Pag-IBIG Funding.

BRIA Homes likewise takes pride in building sustainable, secure, and wholesome communities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, providing recreational facilities for, and accommodating the needs of, Filipino individuals and families.

Accessibility is also a key factor in all BRIA communities, which are located near schools, hospitals, churches, commercial establishments, and major roads and highways.

Finally, the mass housing developer recognizes the varying and growing needs of different Filipino individuals and families, thus offering residential units in a variety of sizes and styles.

Because BRIA’s ultimate goal is to help Filipino individuals and families, it will continue to ensure that its every step is geared towards the betterment of Filipino lives.

BRIA Homes is a subsidiary of GOLDEN BRIA Holdings, Inc., considered the third largest real estate company in terms of market capitalization valued at more than P250B. The fastest-growing mass housing developer in the Philippines, BRIA Homes is primed to bring affordable house-and-lot packages and condominium units closer to ordinary Filipino families. This is the goal that drives every single employee in the company, for which the ultimate fulfillment is seeing a client happily moving into Bria’s homes.

To know more about BRIA Homes, call (0966) 277 5944, like “Bria Official” on Facebook, and follow “@TheBriaOfficial” on Twitter and Instagram.

BDO waives remittance fees on donations to Taal eruption victims

To make it easier for overseas Filipinos to provide financial assistance to thousands of victims of the Mt. Taal eruption, BDO Unibank, Inc. has waived its remittance fees on cash donations that will be sent through the different BDO Remit offices abroad.

BDO has extensive remittance coverage across the globe, with overseas remittance offices and partners across Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Cash donations sent through BDO Remit offices will then be coursed through different foundations namely BDO Foundation, ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc., GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc., and Philippine Red Cross. In turn, these foundations will facilitate the purchase and distribution of relief goods in evacuation centers that temporarily house the Taal victims.

The remittance free campaign on cash donations to Taal victims runs from January 14 to March 31, 2020.

"We know overseas Filipinos, by the very nature of every Filipino, would love to help their kababayans in the Philippines who were most affected by the Mt. Taal eruption through cash donations. BDO is serving as bridge to this by waiving regular remittance fees on donations sent through BDO remit offices. It's the Bank's way of making sure all donations, every centavo, are spent to buy relief goods. In times like this, you just want to help any which way you can," said Genie Gloria, senior vice president and head of remittance of BDO.

Aside from the different BDO Remit offices, the Bank's global remit partners are also receiving cash donations for the benefit of the Taal eruption victims, including Remitly, Small World, WorldRemit, Azimo, UAE Exchange Centre, and Xpress Money. Regular remittance charges apply.

Meanwhile, for the complete list of BDO Remit offices, interested parties can visit the BDO link at https://www.bdo.com.ph/personal/remittance-services/bdo-remit-international-network/international-offices. Overseas Filipinos can also visit BDO Kabayan’s Facebook page to know more about this campaign.

Siya Nga! offers the readers a selection of short reflections by Fr. Villarin

"Siya Nga" is a Filipino expression of wonder and, thus of openness to possibilities. It is in other words, am expression of epiphany and eureka! And since this expressive phrase literally means  "its Him". Fr. Villarin and I thought the phrase will "work wonder" as a title for this volume of Christian reflections."
David Jonathan Bayot

Sya Nga! Reflections with Art book was launched last January 28 attended by it author Fr. Jose Ramon "Jett" Villarin and editor  David Jonathan Bayot and artists/friends from Ateneo de Manila University held at DLSU , Manila.

Collegiate basketball’s legendary rivals came together for the launch of a book of reflections on 52 terms in the Christian faith last January 28 at the De La Salle University in Manila.

Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University temporarily put aside their athletic differences to celebrate the launch of Siya Nga! Reflections with Art, a new book penned by Fr. Jose Ramon “Jett” Villarin, S.J., President of Ateneo, edited by David Jonathan Bayot, and published by the De La Salle University Publishing House.

Each of the 300-word reflection aims to shed a light on the terms that both the author and the editor deemed significant in the life and living of those who share the Christian faith.

Fr. Jett Villarin, S.J. (Center), President of the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) receives the first copy of Siya Nga! Reflections with Art from Br. Raymundo Suplido, F.S.C. (Right), President of the De La Salle University (DLSU) at the launch of the said book at the Henry Sy, Sr. Hall of the DLSU in Manila, last January 28. Joining them in the photo are (from L to R) Dr. David Jonathan Bayot, Executive Publisher of the DLSU Publishing House and Br. Bernie Oca, Chancellor of the DLSU.

“What we wanted to do is to make these familiar words unfamiliar once again,” Fr. Jett Villarin said. “The book aims to look at these words in a different way, in a different manner so that we may show that the newness of God will never grow old, and the bigness of His love will never grow small.”

Siya Nga! Reflections with Art contains 52 reflections on terms like Incarnation, Trinity, Word, Freedom, and Christmas. Each reflection is elucidated by images of artworks created by a broad range of Filipino artists including, Federico Aguilar Alcuaz, Benedicto Cabrera, Arturo Luz, Elmer Borlongan, to name a few.

“I envision the book to be one that contains images of artwork by a broad range of Filipino artists: from the canonical ones including the National Artists to the younger voices in the Philippine art scene. In so doing, the book seeks to foreground the artistic representations of the Filipinos and the range of the representations,” the book’s editor, David Jonathan Bayot said.

The launch of the book culminated in St. La Salle Hall being lit in Blue and Green—the school colors of Ateneo and La Salle, respectively—to celebrate the partnership between the two universities and to mark the 60th birthday of Fr. Villarin as well.

#EnjoooyThatCloud9Moment with Cloud 9’s New Look

During our Hongkong Holiday last year, we were snacks and baon-ready by bringing our favorite chocolate "pang tawid gutom" Jack n' Jill Cloud 9. These travel snack bars are easy to pack and eat.

Yes, life can be full of incredibly feel-good first moments and best experiences. And for some Filipinos, Jack ‘n Jill Cloud 9 has been a constant companion in celebrating their small and big wins.

The well-loved chocolate brand encourages people to cherish and enjoy short-lived special experiences and simple everyday wins or “Cloud 9 Moments” through its #EnjoooyThatCloud9Moment campaign.

Jack ‘n Jill Cloud 9 also launched a packaging with a fresh new look. Its vibrant packs feature Cloud 9’s choco-coated bar with a luscious stretch of delightful caramel filling, crunchy peanuts and chewy nougat.

Jack ‘n Jill Cloud 9 comes in a variety of undeniably delectable flavors such as the rich milk and white chocolatey goodness of Cloud 9 Classic and White; the double chocolate delight of Cloud 9 Choco Fudge; or the extra loaded combination of chocolate, caramel, and nougat with bigger and more nuts in Cloud 9 Overload.

Always #EnjoooyThatCloud9Moment with Jack ‘n Jill Cloud 9. This delectable treat is available at all leading groceries, supermarkets, and convenience stores nationwide.

For exciting updates, follow Jack ‘n Jill Cloud 9 on its official Facebook page (@JacknJillCloud9PH).
