Its my birthday month, I want to gift myself something that  I love, that I would use everyday and something that would give good vibes along my way. "Kahit pa mahalia jackson tong supershell na to".  It was love at first sight with these Supershells, I admit I was smitten. I am torn between a black Mr.  Supershell and a LongChamp Cuir bag. "pede sana dalawa na lang". Will update you next week by posting my decision.

Artwork Collection

In this Artwork Collection, Supershell brings art and creativity to the Superstar like never before. The Superstar’s Shelltoe comes alive with signature graphic artworks and designs from NYC contemporary artist Todd James, American photographer-director Cass Bird and contemporary Japanese artist mr. The artists’ designs are then joined by six of Pharrell’s very own artworks that explore life force and energy and its relationship with colour.

With a limited release and exclusive artworks for different regions around the globe, the footwear is offered in black and white colourways, allowing the vibrant artworks to take center stage. Adding an additional layer to the concept: each left and right shoe features a different graphic treatment allowing the collection to be mixed and matched endlessly, forming yet another opportunity for creative expression by the wearer themselves.

 
Sculpted collection

This collection sees the artists channel their artworks into specially-molded 3D Shelltoe designs, a first for the Superstar silhouette. The series is then completed by two of Pharrell’s own personal designs, which speak of his interest in the concept of relativity.

Gelli de belen's secret to staying young and beautiful

Its hard to believe that Gelli de Belen who started her showbiz career at age 8 now has two grown up boys and has been with Ariel Rivera for almost two decades,

But whats even more surprising is how she has continued to maintain her youthful looks and her slim and sexy body which could easily put some of those FHM girls to shame.

Gelli de Belen has practically grown up in the public eye. From the teeny-bopper characters she used to portray onscreen, she has emerged into a serious actress, a skilled television host, and an effective product endorser.

And what's even more surprising is how she achieved that body over two decades, she told us that she is into Bikram yoga and watch what she eats. She is a busy mother to her two sons when there is no taping, she keeps on moving to keep her body fit.

She feels blessed that her marriage and career are doing great. Gelli is happily married to Ariel Rivera and a doting mother to teenage sons Joaqui and Julio. Gelli is one of the busiest celebrity moms in the industry but despite her haywire schedule, she makes sure to spend quality time with her family. “Time management is the key,” shares Gelli.

As far as her career is concerned, Gelli is happy to be where she is, and content with the pace at which she is going. “I’m grateful,” she says.

Gelli has her hands full of showbiz projects with four shows on TV5. She appears regularly in the game show Happy Truck ng Bayan; in the comedy show Misterless Misis (where all of them have no husbands, hence the title; her character is the wife of an OFW); the reality show KIS (K-Pop icon Search) Pinoy: The K-Pop Philippination, as judge and hosted by Richard Gutierrez (where the goal is to find a Pinoy who will be sent to Korea to train and become a Korean pop idol); and the lifestyle magazine show Happy Wife, Happy Life. Another upcoming show on TV5 is SM Little Stars where Gelli is a judge and mentor to kid contestants.

For Gelli, each show is a learning experience. “For me, I just want to work. I will go where there is work. When it comes to movies, okay na sa akin ‘yung roles which I don’t do on TV.”

Lenovo Vibe Shot captures the VIBE On at Art In Island

What better way to capture Art in Island, the Interactive Museum in Cubao  using the  Lenovo Vibe Shot, all of us (from the media) posed with the 3D paintings displayed inside the museum,  from floor to ceiling.  It was indeed fun as all of us became competitive upon learning that a contest for the Best VIBE On shot using the Lenovibe Vibe Shot would win us the smart phone.

Mood food plus good books equals great moments at Book and Borders Cafe

Reading is one of my favorite past time, believe it or not, I have survived boredom, coped up with stress during my one year stint working at another country reading Gone Girl and Dark Places by Gillian Flynn alone.  It  helped me through a lot of waiting and lining up paying my utilities, it helps me de-stress and I guess it would helped  me protect my brain from Alzheimer's disease when I hit my 50s and on.

That's why I have been on the lookout for a coffee shop that would help me relax during the weekends with a wide selection of coffee table books, good food and gourmet coffees .  Im glad Book and Borders Cafe from Timog offers both.
