This Mother’s Day #SayItSaCanva with "Tama ka Ma"

Moms know best, and when it comes to navigating life, they never run out of lessons to teach us. This Mother’s Day, Canva Philippines continues its #SayItSaCanva campaign, this time inspiring us to appreciate our moms who imparted their wisdom and experiences with us by saying 'Tama ka, Ma.'

From simple cooking tips to heartwarming love advice, moms never fail to comfort us and tell us what we need to hear.

From free templates to photos and graphics, Canva Philippines empowers Filipinos to design something special for Mom this Mother’s Day.

“Moms are unsung heroes. They manage the households, look after the family, and some even do it while having a full-time job or running their own business. They’re also our first teachers who equip us with life lessons that will make us thrive in life. What better way to honor them than to let them know that we appreciate and heed the lessons they taught us,” says Yani Hornilla-Donato, Canva Philippines’ Country Manager.

To share your own “Tama Ka, Ma” statement, visit the Mother’s Day content hub and choose from the featured templates, elements, and photos. Share your design and story on social media using the hashtags #TamaKaMa and #SayItSaCanva.

From April 29, the content hub will include a Virtual Hall of Fame featuring select stories from the campaign.

More ways to express love and gratitude for mom using Canva

Aside from sharing your own “Tama Ka, Ma” design, there are other creative ways to show love and appreciation for mom on Mother’s Day using Canva.

Design a touching presentation for Mom using Canva’s free Presentation templates. Upload your favorite photos with her and take a trip down memory lane on her special day.

For those who want to remind mom how amazing she is everyday, print out stickers from Canva’s free photos and graphics made exclusively for Mother’s Day. Whether it’s an uplifting quote or a colorful bouquet, she’ll surely have fun sticking them on her favorite things.

If you have videos of your travels with mom or the days you shared together during the pandemic, pull them together and make a high-quality Mother’s Day video in minutes using Canva’s simple drag-and-drop tools and pre-made video templates.

In celebrating your mom this Mother’s Day, remember that it’s always the thought that counts. Whether it’s for nanay, mama, mommy, or inay, with Canva’s diverse content library, you’ll be able to express your love and gratitude for mom in creative and unique ways.

Canva Philippines launches #SayItSaCanva to help you express your love in different formats

We Filipinos have always loved love, and we aren’t afraid to show it. Sadly, the pandemic has limited even the way we express love, trading face-to-face efforts and those classic, swoon-worthy grand gestures into “next times”, promises, and video calls, even when we know we can’t fit our big hearts into those tiny chat bubbles. But this season, Canva Philippines says keep expressing yourself.

Canva is encouraging Filipinos to continuously communicate their feelings by turning them into visual stories through their newly launched #SayItSaCanva campaign.

This month, Canva Philippines is releasing new Valentine’s Day themed templates and elements to help you express your love in different formats whether it's through videos, presentations, social media posts, and more.

“While the pandemic has affected our physical bonds, this doesn’t mean that it should also restrict us from sharing our love and appreciation for our loved ones. Canva’s mission is to empower the world to design, and we found this opportunity for Filipinos to express themselves in a creative and unique way through our engaging tools and resources; we want people to share their stories and ‘Say It Sa Canva’,” said Yani Hornilla-Donato, Canva Philippines’ Country Manager.

To make it easier for users, Canva has launched a Content Hub that holds all of the templates and elements you’ll need to convey your kilig, lambing or pasasalamat for anyone in any form, across any platform.

Through #SayItSaCanva, you can make use of the thousands of available resources from the Canva Content Hub — from photos and illustrations to music — to make your message stand out.

“We want to enable Filipinos to share what’s in their heart, not just this February but all year-round with a diverse content library for all the milestones you want to commemorate and the feelings you want to celebrate,” Donato said.

Whether your love language is words of affirmation, acts of service, or gift-giving, it's always going to be creative and one-of-a-kind when you choose to #SayItSaCanva. Spark connections with your significant other, family, or friends in a fun, creative, and thoughtful way, any day of the year.

Find inspiration from Canva Philippines’ FacebookTwitterTikTok and Instagram accounts and spread the message of love this love month.
