Acer Day celebration is back with the theme ‘AI'm Limitless‘

 Returning for its eighth straight year, the annual Acer Day celebration is back with the theme ‘AI'mLimitless’. The event encourages users to discover the latest Acer products, all designed to enhance user experiences and unlock the untapped potential to do more. Acer Day 2024 will showcase Acer’s AI-enhanced products that help push the boundaries of technology and foster new creative ideas and capabilities among its users. 

AI has become a significant influence in people's lives, expanding the realms of creativity and imagination. Acer recognizes these shifts and has committed to providing individuals with the tools they need to explore limitless possibilities and bring their ideas to life.

Acer Day 2024 will kick off with the release of the official video, accompanied by the Acer Ambassadors Mission videos on Acer’ssocial channels. The event will begin on August 3 and will span across the PAP Region with celebrations to be hosted locally.  Users are invited to participate in social challenges and explore their limitless possibilities.

It will be a night of spectacular performances as international superstar Sandara Park, Kings of P-pop SB19, and Female Alphas of P-pop G22 lead the Acer Day 2024 concert on August 4, 2024, at the SM MOA Arena. Other artists featured in the concert are Cup of Joe, TJ Monterde, Ebe Dancel, and Rico Blanco. Concertgoers can expect top-notch performances and even surprise numbers, including a never-before-seen stage featuring Acer’s ambassadors, and it will be a moment to remember.

In addition to the concert, SB19 and G22 also teamed up for the “Acer U: Charged to Lead” Back-to-School promo, which offers discounts on the latest Acer tech and the best athletic gear from Under Armour. You can save up to Php 10,000 and get an Under Armour voucher worth up to Php 14,000 for every purchase of a participating Acer product. The promo runs until August 18, 2024. The purchased product must be registered for warranty at warranty.acer.com.ph to claim the voucher.

 The annual Acer Day celebration is back and will feature a special line-up of performances, sales promotions, rewards, and activities for everyone to enjoy! This year’s theme, ‘Make Your Green Mark’, highlights Acer’s care for the environment by reigniting its passion for sustainability practices and serves as a reminder for the collective efforts needed in making a “green mark.” 

“Introduced in 2017, the Acer Day campaign has helped promote the company’s brand image among consumers as ‘Young and Stylish’, while promoting its advocacies, consumers, and channel partners. This year, with the focus on sustainable living and the promotion of the eco-friendly Vero series, Acer hopes to garner more support for environmental efforts and remind everyone of their duty to preserve and care for our planet,” said Andrew Hou, Acer Pan Asia Pacific President.

 

Acer Day 2022 will kick off with a manifesto video on August 3, 2022 at 8:00PM (GMT+0800hrs) featuring its 18 ambassadors from across seven regions. These include India’s Pankti Pandey, a zero-waste advocate and a TEDx Speaker; Malaysia’s Mei Yan, a top breakfast radio announcer who started an online channel called “Heal The Earth" to raise environmental awareness; Indonesian musicians Muhammad Pradana Budiarto and Ayudia C, environment patrons who wish to inspire entrepreneurs and start the #SayangBumi (love earth) greener lifestyle. 

Also making appearances in the video are Vietnam’s Duong Thu Thao, a young and dynamic nature lover who follows a green lifestyle by practicing small sustainable actions daily ; Thailand’s Phakin Khamwilaisak, a leading musician and actor who has recently launched an environmental project entitled “Keb Ruk”; Taiwan's very own Atom Boyz-Earth, one of the most popular groups among the younger generation; and the Philippines’ group of Acer Day ambassadors, including Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo, Esports queen Alodia Gosiengfiao, and P-pop boy band sensation, SB19.

All of the Acer Day 2022 ambassadors are strong environment preservation advocates who have continued to make a positive impact to the global youth in their own ways.

 

The “Make Your Green Mark” campaign manifesto reads: A call to action for cleaner air, clearer waters, and a sustainable future. In the video, the Acer Day ambassadors share their passion to protect Mother Nature and encourage their fans and followers to make their green mark on the planet.

The concert is free! In order to get tickets, participants must do green initiatives such as joining Acer's social media contests and challenges, purchasing Acer products including those from Acer's sustainability line Aspire Vero, donating to GreenEarth Heritage Foundation; and collecting cleaned, washed and dried plastic waste and dropping them off at The Plaf, a social enterprise that recycles plastic.

Acer PH held a mini concert with  #AcerDay celebration featuring Moira dela Torre and IV of Spades to the delight of their fans at ETON Centris ground last October 8.

Moira dela Torre rendered songs from her album like Tagpuan, Sundo, Tagu- Taguan, Torete. She brought the house down likewise with IV of Spades.

Acer Philippines rounds off a successful Acer Day run as it partners with Wish FM 107.5 for the Acer Day Digital Concert. Held last October at the Eton Centris Walk, the event reunited Moira dela Torre and IV of Spades who brought the house down with their show-stopping performances and an even more exciting surprise.

Now on its second year, the brand’s annual event was launched as a way to celebrate and continually refresh Acer. Completing the roster of 20 countries across the Pan-Asia Pacific Region who participated in the Acer Day festivities, Acer Philippines treated customers to nearly two months of various awesome promos and discounts.

“It’s such a good feeling to be coming back with Acer Day for a second year,” shares Sue Ong-Lim, Sales and Marketing Director of Acer Philippines. “As this year’s celebration comes to a sweet end, we feel that we are starting a tradition with our consumers that is surely just going to get better with time.”

After delivering much-awaited encore performances, the two music icons took the crowd by surprise as they boarded the Wish Bus to sing, for the first time in public, “Huli Na Ba Ang Lahat?”, a piece they collaborated on specifically for Acer Day.
