PLDT Enterprise Earns Global Recognition as Tech Week PH Wins at the 2025 IBAs

 PLDT Enterprise, the corporate arm of PLDT, has been recognized at the prestigious 2025 International Business Awards (IBA) for its successful launch of Tech Week PH, the telco group’s first multi-city technology roadshow designed to advance digital inclusion, ecosystem collaboration, and technology adoption in high-growth regions across the Philippines. 


The Stevie® Awards, organizers of the IBAs, are the world’s premier business awards, honoring the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and professionals worldwide since 2002. The International Business Awards® are open to all organizations across the globe and celebrate accomplishments in all aspects of work life.

Tech Week PH 2025, which won Bronze in the Art, Entertainment & Public – Roadshow category, brought together startups, developers, government stakeholders, enterprise leaders, and other regional ecosystem players in an education and business platform that connected them with global technology partners. Each stop was tailored to local contexts and sector-specific needs to make enterprise technology more relatable, actionable, and inclusive.

The roadshow was held in Davao and Cebufeaturing panel forums, technical workshops, and solution showcases on cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and infrastructure. The event welcomed over 1,500 attendees from more than 500 companies across diverse industries nationwide, all eager to explore emerging trends in the regions and technologies to power their growth.

Leading the Way: PLDT's Insights on Responsible Smart Home Tech and AI Use at PH Digicon 2023


As PLDT ushers in the transformation of the Philippines into a Smart Nation by enabling the creation of Smart Cities, the conversation inevitably turns to the Smart Home and various consumer applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

 

Advancing further in terms of adoption and usage, Smart Home and AI continue to headline conversations on digital transformation and breakthroughs in the tech industry. These were among the highlights of the recently concluded Philippine Digital Convention (DigiCon) 2023 presented by PLDT Enterprise at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. 

In a DigiCon session called “Family Perspectives on Smart Home and Artificial Intelligence”, PLDT brought together thought leaders on technology and parenting, and emphasized the importance of fostering meaningful connections and responsible use of technology.

PLDT Enterprise brings back Philippine Digital Convention (PH Digicon)


PLDT Enterprise, the B2B arm of PLDT, Inc. (PLDT), the leading telecommunications and digital services provider in the country, brings back Philippine Digital Convention (PH Digicon), now bigger, bolder, and boundless this 2022 after two years of being held virtually in the pandemic.

 

BOUNDLESS: Philippine Digital Convention 2022 is happening on October 27-28, 2022 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom with a simultaneous live broadcast via a virtual platform. This event is poised to attract more than 10,000 delegates from around the world in its two-day run.


 

To kick off PH Digicon, the country’s most prestigious and one of the most sought-after thought leadership events in the Asia-Pacific Region, a media launch will unveil the event’s key message of transformation for businesses in response to the challenges brought about by these uncertain times.


The media launch on October 19 at the Smart Tower in Makati City, with simultaneous live streaming via Cisco Webex, features an impressive lineup of speakers including 

PLDT Group Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan along with other PLDT and Smart executives: President and CEO Al S. Panlilio; Chief Commercial and Information Advisor Noel C.
