Following the realme GT's comeback announcement in the Philippines this year, the upcoming realme GT 6 is designed with state-of-the-art AI capabilities and is poised to introduce the realme Next AI technology to provide fans with a new level of user experience.

While AI in smartphones is nothing new to most users, the realme Next AI technology brings powerful features for an unparalleled user experience at a lower price point. This dynamic arm of AI technologies is packed in the soon-to-launch realme GT 6, made possible by combining the flagship hardware with realme UI 5.0 and Google’s latest software developments.

The AI Smart Loop lets users save time and minimize steps when sharing content such as photos and text. Users can quickly share selected content with third-party apps with dragging or swiping gestures. This feature can be activated in the AI settings via Special Features. Once toggled on, selected content can be dragged to the right, where a wheel animation will pop up on the right part of the screen, along with suggested apps such as social media, printing, Bluetooth, etc.

Users can easily remove unwanted objects from photos with AI Smart Removal. This simplifies photo editing for those who prefer to remove any passerby, clutter, or background in an image. Aside from this, users simply need to select or draw a line around the object they want to remove, and algorithms can recognize and recreate the missing portions after removing the object.

Equipped with an AI Night Vision Video, the realme GT 6 allows users to take brighter videos under extremely low light conditions through advanced night algorithms. Furthermore, the realme GT 6 is set to have more upcoming features soon, with future developments on realme UI and support for other features from Google.

Netflix and Riot Games debuted the Teaser for the Second and Final Chapter of ARCANE

Calling all Piltovans & Zaunites! Today, Netflix and Riot Games debuted the Teaser, along with new images, for the Second and Final Chapter of ARCANE. 

“Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche," said Christian Linke during a League Dev Update that went live earlier today. "From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”

In this final chapter, Jinx’s attack on the Council sets the stage for a dire escalation of the conflict between Piltover and Zaun.  

The Primetime Emmy Award winning series returns this November, only on Netflix.

From Riot Games, ARCANE returns this November on Netflix. The animated series, based on the League of Legends game and one of Netflix’s most successful animated series ever, is created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. Executive producers include Linke, Marc Merrill and Brandon Beck.  The Animation Studio is Fortiche Animation. Voices include Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Annie Award winner Ella Purnell (Jinx) and Katie Leung (Caitlyn), Reed Shannon (Ekko), Amirah Vann (Sevika), Mick Wingert (Heimerdinger), Ellen Thomas (Ambessa), and Brett Tucker (Singed) among others to be announced.

Season One of ARCANE solidified Netflix’s position as a leader in adapting game franchises into animated cultural phenomena. Globally praised as one of the Best TV Shows of 2021, the adult animated series also earned four PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS (2022) including Outstanding Animated Program – the first streaming series to win Outstanding Animated Program. The series swept the 2022 Annie Awards with wins in Nine categories including Best TV/Media, Best Writing, Best Voice Acting (Ella Purnell), Best Direction, Best Production Design, Best Character Animation, Best Storyboarding, Best Character Design and Best FX. Best Buddies Philippines (BBP) and Banana Peel Celebrate Fashion, Friendship, and Inclusion

Best Buddies Philippines (BBP) and Banana Peel showcased a special celebration of fashion, friendship and inclusion when it mounted the highly-successful “Slide Together Embrace Inclusion” at Robinsons Magnolia on May 18.

The event generated a huge crowd as it unveiled a unique collection of unisex slides designed by Best Buddies British School Manila (BSM) chapter member, Navine Gabriella Kuo Gatchalian. Gatchalian is a 17-year old talented artist who was inspired by happy beach adventures with her family.

 

These slides are vibrant and eye-catching, a creative addition to anyone’s summer vacation. More importantly, they embody the spirit of inclusion, the core mission of Best Buddies Philippines (BBP) programs. The design was created during a social activity mounted by the BB BSM chapter where students with and without IDD form meaningful relationships.

 

Best Buddies is a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement  to create opportunities for friendships, leadership development, integrated employment, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD).  BBP was established in 2014 and has since then touched the lives of over 30,000 Filipinos of all abilities.

 

“We are thrilled to collaborate with a beloved Filipino brand, Banana Peel.  It gave us the opportunity to highlight the talents of our members and help in empowering individuals with IDD,” says Michelle Aventajado,  BBP’s Executive Director.  

 

"We are delighted to be part of this initiative and I want to express my gratitude to Best Buddies Philippines for partnering with us. This collaboration demonstrates that opportunities can be made accessible to all,” says Paul Ng, President of Banana Peel.

 

The outpour of support from those who attended the event raised awareness about the importance of inclusion and also provided opportunities for growth and self-expression, fostering a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive.  A portion of the proceeds from the event was directed to BBP.

More than footwear, “Slide Together, Embrace Inclusion” was a testament to the power of friendship and a commitment to embracing a world of inclusivity.
