USANA launches Proglucamune and Batch 3 of Team USANA Pilipinas

I have been taking USANA supplements 4 years ago. I have been buying it from a friend who highly recommended the products to me due to my line of work. I was a part of the BPO industry then. Five years of taking it simultaneously with another supplements, and Ive never been sick except for the occasional cough and colds. That's why USANA is the best supplements so far, even if I have to spend thousands for a bottle.

Third batch of Team USANA Pilipinas

I was glad that USANA Health Sciences Philippines launches another high-quality supplements, immune system boosting optimizer with Proglucamune together with the third batch of Team USANA Pilipinas last June 24 at Peking Garden, Greenbelt 5, Makati.

The team is comprised of Filipino athletes from various sports who rely on USANA to keep themselves healthy and fit for competition locally and internationally. At the same time, they serve as inspiration among Filipinos to achieve success by living a healthy lifestyle.

Consistency is very important for us, especially in advocating for good health in our country,” explains USANA Regional Manager for the Philippines and Indonesia Aurora “Duday” Gaston. “This is why we are ensuring that we regularly roll out high-quality products and foster this group of individuals who can help us promote fitness and wellness among our Filipino countrymen.”

The team is composed of Team USANA Pilipinas regulars Abe Avena (golf), Alyssa Valdez (volleyball), Gaby Dela Merced (motor sports), P.J. Tierro (tennis), Tin Patrimonio (tennis), Janice Lagman-Lizardo (Poomsae), Japoy Lizardo (taekwondo), Bing Amit (billiards), Sid Isidro (rowing), Chieffy Caligdong (football), Misagh Bahadoran (football), Biboy Rivera (bowling), Michelle Cojuangco Barrera (equestrian), PJ Simon (basketball), Rachel Anne Daquis (volleyball), Marian Capadocia (tennis), Gab Moreno (archery), and L.A. Tenorio (basketball). Aside from the old favorites, the third batch of Team USANA Pilipinas will now include new members such as Marella Salamat (cycling), Jessey De Leon (volleyball), Tes Bitbit (cycling and adventure racing), Simon Greatwich (football), and the brothers tandem of JC Intal (basketball) and Rex Intal (volleyball).

Team USANA Pilipinas has become a family over the years. Like my dad, he inspired a lot of people so he has become my role model,” shares the Venus of Tennis Tin Patrimonio. “I try my best to be like my dad in inspiring people and being a part of Team USANA Pilipinas helps in making this happen.”

Aside from Team USANA Pilipinas, USANA Philippines has also tapped former beauty queen and entrepreneur Patty Betita, motivational speaker Francis J. Kong, and The Apprentice Asia winner Jonathan Yabut for its current roster of brand ambassadors.

Stronger Immune System for Everyone

Meanwhile, with its focus strongly hinged on its products, USANA Philippines also announced today the availability of its new product Proglucamune to the Philippine market.

Carefully and scientifically developed to strengthen one’s immune system, USANA Proglucamune is packed with four immune-boosting ingredients, namely Shitake Mushroom, Reishi Mushroom, Baker’s Yeast, and Zinc. Proglucamune combines ancient wisdom with modern science to help immune cells work faster and more efficiently. It is a powerful immune supplement, specifically created to strengthen the overall effectiveness of the immune system.

“We live in a fast-paced world where multitasking has become the norm, not to mention that we are constantly exposed to several environmental factors that can easily make us sick,” Gaston elaborates. “And with the acknowledgement of this reality, we at USANA developed and rolled out a new reliable partner in the form of Proglucamune to keep us strong to live a well-rounded and well-balanced life.”

Gatorade launches ambassadors Chris Banchero, Alyssa, Jeron and Mika in its 50th anniversary

Gatorade Ambassador Chris Banchero

Gatorade never fails to fill up my thirst when Im at the gym, because its better than water and has electrolytes to hydrate you up.  My favorite is Gatorade Blue Bolt, the taste reminds me of childhood and summer. It has the right amount of sweetness that helps your body recover.

Gatorade recently celebrate its 50th anniversary fueling local and international athletes of this generation. The line up of local sports ambassadors who graced its anniversary, UAAP volleyball superstars Alyssa Valdez from the Ateneo Lady Eagles and Mika Reyes from the De La Salle Lady Spikers together with basketball hotshots Chris Banchero of the Alaska Aces  with the exception of  Jeron Teng of the De La Salle Green Archers,  played with media guests.

“Coming from our 50th anniversary wherein we celebrated Gatorade’s legacy of fueling local and international sports’ greatest moments, we now want to focus on empowering a new breed of athletes and game changers,” Pepsico Philippines Marketing Manager for Hydration Tony Atayde said. “Alyssa, Mika, Chris and Jeron are top athletes who know the value of working hard to stay in peak form and understand that games aren’t won on the court but in the gym and practice venues. We’re excited to see them inspire more people to pursue active lifestyles and understand the value of proper hydration.”

Now my favorite Gatorade Sports drink has its new variant flavor and color which was officially launched last October 22 together with the top local ambassadors. The orange-and-grapefruit-flavor based White Lightning is now my favorite Gatorade drink next to Gatorade Bolt Blue.

Where does greatness begin?

Gatorade believes that it begins with hard work—the kind with no shortcuts, the kind that’s relentless and that will make you ache and sweat. Whether the goal is to finish a 21K half marathon, climb a mountain peak, or just feel physically stronger overall, preparing yourself in the gym and constantly working to improve your game is key to winning on game day.

And with this kind of hard work, proper hydration is crucial to be able to push forward and grow stronger.

With a refreshing, light orange-grapefruit flavor, White Lightning is formulated with non-carbonated water that does not cause stomach discomfort; 6% carbohydrates which research has shown to be the optimal level in promoting absorption and providing energy to working muscles; electrolytes for rapid rehydration and minerals to help prevent cramps.

Atayde added, “You don’t have to be a pro athlete to benefit from proper hydration. For as long as you move and you sweat, your body needs to be properly hydrated so you continue to work towards achieving your full potential. We’re confident that our new variant and our new ambassadors will help us reinforce that message.”
