Vivo V9 dropped the price to Php14,999 from Php17,990




Global smartphone brand Vivo is kicking off August with good news! It has dropped the price of the Vivo V9 to Php14,999 from Php17,990.


That means that new users can now enjoy the 24-megapixel AI selfie camera, the 16MP+5MP dual rear camera, 6.3-inch 19:9 FullView Display with an impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio, and all other high-end specs for a lower price.



For only Php14,990, Vivo V9 will give users access to AI-powered features most notable in photography with its Face Beauty, High Dynamic Range, selfie lighting, bokeh algorithm, and Augmented Reality Stickers capabilities. This makes the V9 the perfect smartphone for those who love capturing every moment.

Not only that, the Vivo V9 is also a perfect smartphone for gamers with the upgraded AI Game Mode. The Vivo V9, after all, is powered by the Android 8.1 OS and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor. It is also equipped with Smart Engine, which intelligently allocates and optimizes processing resources, for a seamless gaming experience.

The Vivo V9 was introduced in the Philippines on March 22. It was initially available only in Pearl Black and Gold, but Vivo also launched its Velvet Red variant in April.

Atom took clearer selfies during his travels with his new buddy, the Vivo V7+

TV personality and award-winning journalist Atom Araullo had been on a new mission on AXN’s Adventure Your Way: to look for the not so well-known destinations in the Philippines using his smartphone.

     Atom took clearer selfies during his travels with his new buddy, the Vivo V7+. 




For his quests, Atom used the V7+ from young global smartphone brand Vivo. The model is the predecessor of its latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo V9. The V7+ was released in the Philippines in September 2018, while the latest model was released in March.


The host kicked off every episode crowdsourcing travel suggestions through his social media accounts using the Vivo V7+. For the recently-concluded season of Adventure Your Way, Atom visited Cebu, Samar, Masbate, Camiguin, Rizal, Batad, Biliran, Zambales, Davao, and Siargao.

When his adventure began, Atom used the smartphone with a 24-megapixel front camera to take videos and selfies. He also relied on his Vivo V7+ to navigate him around his destinations.


     Atom made sure unforgettable moments were immortalized with the Vivo V7+ 

Atom also used the Vivo smartphone when he talked to the locals to gather more information about the place.

Vivo V9 also complemented Qualcomm Snapdragon 626’s features with its 6.3-inch 19:9 FullView Display that has a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio for an improved mobile phone gaming experience. 

Vivo also understands the importance of a comfortable grip while playing games. The Vivo V9 has an ergonomically optimized 3D curved cover to provide a comfortable grip. 

It also upgraded its signature Game Mode to allow gamers to block background notifications, reject calls, among other capabilities.

The AI Game Mode of Vivo V9 also allows gamers to talk to people while they are still playing their favorite gaming applications if they are connected to the Wi-Fi. It also has a Picture-In-Picture feature that allows gamers to use social messaging applications even in the middle of a game.

Will Vivo launch a new variant of V9 in PH?

Vivo PH welcomes #McLisse as the newest celebrity loveteam endorsers




On Saturday, April 14, Vivo held the  Consumer Launch of its new flagship smartphone the Vivo V9 at  the Market! Market! In Taguig City where a big revelation of the smartphone’s next local brand endorser took place.



Vivo in the Philippines is known for their hottest local brand endorsers, especially the most trending of all love teams. Headlined by celebrity royalties Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, the Vivo Family is composed of the most influential stars in the local entertainment industry. Vivo welcomed newest endorsers Edward Barber and Ivan Dorschner






Vivo PH introduces its newest celebrity endorsers  Edward Barber and Ivan Dorschner at the launch of Vivo V9 held at City of Dreams on March 22. The newest celebrity endorsers were joined by Ms. Maymay Entrata and other celebrity endorsers.

Barber is the onscreen partner of young actress Maymay Entrata who also joined the event. Entrata was the first who joined Vivo in September 2017 during the launch of the V7+. His endorsement deal with Vivo is something MayWard fans have been patiently waiting for since the pair already worked together for the smartphone brand during their first Making Mega shoot in Germany last year. 




Dorschner, meanwhile, charmed the press with his good looks and charisma. He was one of Kuya’s guests in Pinoy Big Brother in 2010. Since then, he became one of GMA Network's top leading men after starring alongside young actress and fellow Vivo endorser Barbie Forteza in the primetime series "Meant To Be."



Aside from the launch of the new flagship smartphone V9,Vivo also introduced its newest endorsers, Ivan Dorschner and Edward Barber.





Barber, Entrata, and Dorschner also picked three lucky winners of the Vivo V9 during the raffle. They also joined the Vivo executives for a toast for the V9. Also with them onstage were other Vivo endorsers young pop soul singer Sassa Dagdag, acoustic singer-songwriter TJ Monterde, and balladeer Jason James Dy who closed the night with their performances.
