Body Reinvented by Century Tuna Celebrity Endorser James Reid



The first time I saw James Reid was 2 years ago with the now girlfriend loveteam Nadine Lustre at an event in QC.  I admit I was never a fan of any filipino loveteam as I dont have the time to watch teleseryes (due to busy schedule) and compare notes after. But for any fiipino movies, if its that good and under the helm of an award winning director, maybe I'll give it a try. 



All changed since the #JaDine fever #TeamReel then to #TeamReal now arrived at the entertainment scene. Everyone, including my parents went gaga over them. They would watch their teleseryes, OTWOL to now Till I Met You like a devoted kilig teenager fan. When I saw James Reid in person, I knew why, its his rugged charm and mysterious personality that draws everyone to him with an Instagram followers of 2Million. I know he has done something good in his credit. The Instagram phenomenon that he is. The first time I post a #JaDine pics from 2 years ago, I gained my first 500 followers in 3 days time and 500 likes in each picture that I posted. How's that for their devoted professional fans. 



When I saw the billboard posted with the word REVELATION DAY on EDSA and that luscious lip snip I knew right away that that belongs to James Reid.  Century Tuna chosen the right heartthrob to love at this very minute.



Century Tuna celebrity ambassador James Reid was launched on Sept. 6 at Makati Shangri-la. The event was hosted by Ms, Joyce Pring and Sam YG. 

When asked who is his fitspiration from the local scene, he told the media that its Derek Ramsay, when probed if Derek knew it. He just shrugged and gave his killer smile. 

Top actor James Reid appears anew in a TV commercial that gives a glimpse on how thinking like a champion has brought him to where he is now. 




There’s no denying that James Reid is one of the hottest young actors today. He’s a social media phenomenon—with millions of followers online, not counting the various fan accounts that his devoted followers set up. The highly bankable love team JaDine, in which he is paired with his reel and real life partner Nadine Lustre, has sent their legions of fans in a frenzy, whether in mall tours, concerts, meet and greets, and even online where they are constant trending topics. 



There are his chart-topping albums including Reid Alert which hit certified platinum level status last May. Then there are his box-office film successes—the 2014 romantic comedy and his launch movie Diary ng Panget; and Talk Back and You’re Dead, the teen romance flick that followed a year later. No doubt, his biggest hit to date is On the Wings of Love, the top-rating primetime series with Nadine that kept viewers glued to their TV sets until its sensational finale.  




Clearly, James Reid is on a winning streak and his steady career path is one that is marked by a succession of winning moves. Recently, he joined the ranks of  Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsey as endorser of Century Tuna, the country’s number one  tuna.

OPPO takes #2 spot in PH





German-based market research organization GfK reported that OPPO is now the second bestselling smartphone brand in the ASEAN’s fastest growing mobile market, the Philippines.

GfK’s latest survey showed that OPPO increased its market share from 3.2 percent in July 2015 to 8.6 percent in July 2016, more than double its share from last year. The smartphone brand also rose from third spot in June 2016 at 8.5 percent, to second last July.

Our increasing shares show how we are able to capture what Filipinos want in a mobile device,” said Stephen Cheng, OPPO’s Brand Marketing Manager. “We not only meet consumer demands for quality smartphones, but we also offer them at more affordable prices. This is an important factor that paved the way for our growth over the past year.”

OPPO attributed its rising popularity to its F1 series, whose selfie-enhancing features won over the Filipino’s fondness for taking pictures of themselves. The company introduced the F1 phone in February this year, followed by the F1 Plus in April.



Introduced only last August, the F1 series’ latest addition, the F1s, sold out three days after its launch in concept and dealer stores nationwide.

Because of the reception to the F1s, OPPO is optimistic that the company will eventually dominate the Philippine selfie market.

“OPPO will continue pursuing its growth in the market by indulging the Filipino fascination for taking selfies,” Cheng said.

Plains & Prints, the style purveyor of chic, timeless designs for women partners with ICanServe Foundation and Top 5 designers for The Heart of Fashion runway for the breast cancer survivors.


The Heart of Fashion was held September 1 at The Gallery, Greenbelt 5 featuring designs of country's top fashion designers – Rhett Eala, Rajo Laurel, Randy Ortiz, Maureen Disini and Vania Romoff. Proceeds of the event will help support ICanServe Foundation campaigns and initiatives.



“Unlike any other campaigns Plains & Prints has launched, this campaign is unique because this is our way of fulfilling our responsibility to society by being involved in one of the major issues women are facing today- breast cancer,” explains Roxanne Ang-Farillas, owner and founder of Plains & Prints.

Touched by the journeys of breast cancer survivors, the renowned designers will craft and curate uniquely inspiring collections. From romantic silhouettes to modern, structured lines, the collections aim to show the sheer strength of character and the beauty of each woman/ survivor.





Rhett Eala’s collection focuses on femininity with pieces that make a woman feel “beautiful, comfortable, sophisticated and sexy.” Rhett incorporates touches of pink – the color of breast cancer awareness, and marries it with navy and white for a strong yet feminine fashion statement.





Rajo Laurel, the multi-awarded designer, shares his inspiration: “It has always been my philosophy to empower women through my designs. I create clothes that women can wear with confidence. The first piece is a soft and flowy wrap dress, which is done in a very modern way, while the other is designed with more architecture. The contrasts reflect the complexity and duality of a woman. “




The renowned Randy Ortiz shows his masterful touch with a more sporty aesthetic. “The pieces are more structured and for the active woman. For me, a woman is all about being versatile, so I created pieces that you seamlessly and easily transform from day looks into evening ensembles. This is for the 21st century woman.” 




Maureen Disini, on the other hand, shares: “I wanted to design light, simple, and easy to wear ensembles. I wanted pieces that are relevant to the times, and which can take you from day to night. 




Another talented creative visionary, Vania Romoff, captures the feminine mystique with romantic silhouettes. “Taking lead from the colors of femininity such as pink, I built on that with lots of flowers and details. For women, I envisioned ensembles that are soft, easy-to-wear, and romantic. “
Through the beautiful, sophisticated styles presented by the designers, Plains & Prints hopes to inspire women to see the beauty in their ordeal and being.
