Daniel is also into motorcycles and plays golf. He considers social media as a great way to connect and share his interests with his followers, so he always tries to make his content relatable. “I give them genuine feedback on my experiences when it comes to my hobbies,” he says.

“My favorite hobbies are photography, cooking, and ice skating. Social media has helped me know myself more and became an outlet for me. It helped me connect with my audience as well, where I inspire them to work hard and never give up on their dreams by sharing what I do and being myself,” she says.

Today’s generation rising rockstar and fearless singer/songwriter Lesha is gearing up to rock your Halloween celebrations with the launch of her latest single entitled ‘"GO TO HELL!!!"’ A song that exudes the iconic pop-punk feel–fusing together defiance, heartache and the empowering realization of self-discovery.

 

“I wrote this song over the summer. This one basically dives into all the messy vibes of a toxic relationship. The lyrics capture the gut-punch of being let down by someone who couldn't make up their mind,” Lesha shares.

 

"GO TO HELL!!!" was written over the summer locally with L.A. based producer Dela and songwriter Krizia. As Lesha is best known for writing songs straight from her own experiences, you can be assured that this song is gonna make it big among her Gen Z followers.                                                            

                                            

Lesha continues, “I normally write based on true experiences, and at the studio I was expressing the hardships I went through in my toxic relationship so we figured to pour out all my intrusive/unfiltered thoughts into this song.”                            

                        

It seems like there’s no stopping Lesha from making reality awakening songs that can foretell situations that some of us can best relate to. Before you know it, she has already tapped that innate energy among us to recharge us and be prepared in conquering our worst fears.

 

And her favorite lines go like this, “Go on and tell your story…Admit you did me dirty…Brought out the worst in me…Cause you knew me too well…Lost trust in everybody…Don’t say you did it for me…You killed the best of me…I’ll see you in hell”

 

She explains, “My favorite lyrics are in the bridge of the song because of the angst and resentment it expresses from losing trust in someone (which is the entire gist of the song). It kinda reminds me of the saying “hurt people, hurt people”. No matter how good you’ve been to a person, if they’re not at peace with themselves they will endlessly find ways to share their pain with you or dump all their negative energy/traumas on you to disrupt your peace.” 

 

Surely, this song will appeal to everyone who went through the same experience as her.  But then again beneath those messages, she wants to impart a greater meaning behind the lyrics. Honesty in all aspects whether it be songwriting or in her personal pursuits. 

 

“It was really fun writing and tracking the vocals cause it involved a lot of honesty, angst, and of course high energy screaming which really helped ease my frustration; at the same time the verses tapped into my more vulnerable side and this song was able to fully articulate the feelings I had trapped in my head, translating it into a heavy contrast between the chorus and the verses.”

Aisha Jackson was last seen on Broadway as ‘Snow White’ in the Britney Spears musical Once Upon a One More Time. Previously, during her run in Disney’s Frozen on Broadway, she made history as the first Black woman to portray the role of ‘Anna.’ Additional Broadway credits include Paradise Square, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and Waitress. Aisha is a true advocate for change, equity, and inclusion on Broadway, and hopes to continue creating roles for Black women to shine and lead, because representation matters.

 

Krysta Rodriguez has proven herself to be a versatile actress of both stage and screen. A veteran of nine Broadway shows, Rodriguez most recently starred as ‘Cinderella’ in Into the Woods (on Broadway and in Los Angeles) and originated the role of ‘Wednesday’ in The Addams Family. Her past roles include originating ‘Ilse’ in the critically acclaimed revival of Spring Awakening, ‘Casey’ in First Date opposite Zachary Levi, and Disney heroine ‘Megara’ in the world premiere stage adaptation of the beloved animated film Hercules. Benjamin Rauhala is one of the Broadway community's most trusted music directors and collaborators. He is the music supervisor, co-creator, and on-stage host of Disney Princess - The Concert, which has been thrilling audiences internationally since October of 2021. He worked as an arranger on the opening numbers of the 2022 and 2023 Tony Awards as well as the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards for Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, with whom he has collaborated closely since 2012. DOE is moving to fully implement the LPG law with the active participation of industry partners


Solane LPG spearheaded a series of symposiums to help expedite the full implementation of the landmark law

 

  

The Department of Energy is moving to fully implement the LPG law with the active participation of industry partners. Through a series of symposiums spearheaded by LPG brand Solane, DOE directly addressed concerns raised by LPG retailers and distributors on the provisions of the LPG Industry Regulation Act.

 

The move comes as DOE set a July 7 deadline for LPG players to secure a License to Operate and other necessary permits to be able to operate legally.

Along with representatives of the Department of Trade and Industry, the Bureau of Fire Protection, and various local government units, DOE reached out to over 3,000 LPG players nationwide through the series of Solane Retailer Trade Outlets (RTO) Symposium. This was done in 20 key areas nationwide with LPG retailers, dealers, and stakeholders, complementing the series of LPG Regional Summits organized by the DOE nationwide.

 

“The RTO Symposium is our way of showing our unwavering support to the LPG Law as we commit to working closely with government agencies and our retail partners to help ensure their tasks and responsibilities under the law are fulfilled and carried through,” said Tonito Gonzalez, CEO of Isla LPG Corp. 

 

During the series of symposiums, DOE provided clarity on several critical provisions in LIRA, including the extension of LTO compliance for retailers and distributors, amid marketers and refilling plants' LTO applications still being under DOE’s review and assessment. The DOE assured it will continue to accept and process applications for the issuance of permits to qualified LPG participants even after the deadline.

During the series of events, DTI, BFP, and local governments pledged their support to DOE and LIRA by noting that they are issuing their respective Department Circulars, manpower, and logistics for the full implementation of the law. DOE also expressed appreciation for the support received from industry associations such as the LPG Industry Association and LPG Marketers Association.

 

The symposium also enabled government partners to assess the common concerns of LPG players per region, including unique situations in their respective LPG trades. According to Marvin Castor, Solane LPG Liaison Officer, among the most common challenges encountered by LPG partners in Luzon is the presence of unauthorized and non-compliant LPG sellers and refillers. 

 

“Unfair trade practices remain a challenge as illegal refilling plants are rampant. This is supported by Solane LPG’s brand protection activities, wherein as of July 2023, we have already confiscated PHP 338,300 worth of counterfeit and illegally refilled Solane LPG products and paraphernalia in ten raids nationwide,” Castor noted.

 

In Cagayan alone, agents of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, in collaboration with Solane LPG and Petron, were able to seize PHP 1.5 million worth of fake and illegally produced LPG tanks, seals, and paraphernalia. 

 

“Meanwhile, for our retailers in Visayas, the inter-island LPG transport regulation is critical, while for those in Mindanao, they’ve raised concerns on the regulations on LPG canisters,” Castor added.  

 

Signed in 2021, the Republic Act 11592, or LPG Law aims to protect consumers from LPG malpractices, including the sale of counterfeit and illegally refilled LPG cylinders, which are prone to leakages that may cause explosions or massive fires.

 

“Consumers are expected to benefit when LIRA takes full effect by having safe, legitimate, and properly filled LPG cylinders in their kitchens,” said Castor. “They are hoping that LIRA will not make LPG more expensive with the reduction of substandard LPG products in the market.”

 

Castor added that the LIRA is also expected to provide consumers with the right to choose their preferred LPG brand through its provision of cylinder swapping. 

 

Several of Solane LPG’s retailers and distributors, meanwhile, expressed optimism that the implementation of the law will put an end to unfair business practices in the market. 

 

“By attending the symposium and getting a chance to understand the law from the resource speakers, LPG business owners were able to see LIRA as a game changer in the industry, in terms of bringing about fair trade practices and safe business conduct,” concluded Castor.
