Reliving memories through FUJIFILM Photo Diary

Remember those photo albums where our mothers kept memories of our first birthdays, graduation, first communion with labels intact in each page?  Do you remember what you looked like? When we were innocent and dorky. What were the fashion trends then?  Feeling nostalgic yet?

During those days, my mother collected around 6 photo albums and showed it to anyone who visited our house.  She was so proud of every celebration she took pictures of and kept it neatly intact inside an album.   It was pretty awesome collecting pictures and put in an album during those years because that was the coolest/sweetest thing to do to preserve memories, at least to my mother. Now that I am in her age,   I kind of like the idea now and would love to buy a photo album and print all my snapseed-ed pics taken from my mobile phone. And get creative with wasabi tapes and all those cute stationeries. Until FUJIFILM came up with Photo Diary. The best invention so far, my mother would be happy.

Recently FUJIFILM PH launched FUJIFILM Photo Diary with celebrity mom Cheska Garcia Kramer and Filipino-Australian model Lauren Reid, who’s also the sister of FUJIFILM endorser James Reid.

They discussed and shared their photo diary to the media and  showed what photos they have collated.

The Photo Diary is made of high-quality FUJIFILM photo paper and special insert material to make the pages withstand wear-and-tear. However, unlike the expensive coffee table books that take months to create, the best part about the Photo Diary is that it takes as fast as 24-hours to produce (production time may vary). In just about a day or so, you can have your most treasured snaps in a high-quality, hardbound photo book.

Everyone wants to preserve memories and organize photos into an album but it is a tedious task. Sorting through an overabundance of snaps and deciding on a layout takes time.

The FUJIFILM Photo Diary is the answer to the growing demand for putting photos together into an album, properly selected and labeled, and accomplished in minutes. Developed through F UJIFILM’s Image Organizing Technology, the Photo Diary enables you to make an original album out of a year’s worth of images or to simply mark a milestone or two. Instead of choosing hundreds of photos manually, the Image Organizing Technology software will automatically select the best photos for you and arrange it in the best layout possible. Because of this, you can row create a ready-to-print layout in just five minutes. There are also several design templates and vibrant color schemes that users can choose from to make their photo-customizing

Another amazing feature of the Photo Diary is that it makes for a very handy repository of memories. It is like owning your own coffee table book instead of the traditional photo album. It is not bulky and can be tagged along wherever you go.

FUJIFILM is confident that Filipinos will take to the Photo Diary very well because Filipinos are a photo-loving nation, from mothers who cherish and preserve memorable family moments to young millennials who express their creativity with well-curated and stylized photos. The Photo Diary is the perfect tool to document life’s important milestones: weddings, birthdays, graduations, and favorite travels.

The price of the Photo Diary starts at Php 999 for a minimum of 16 pages, up to Php 2,199 for a maximum of 40 pages. Available at the Wonder Photo Shop and F UJIFILM authorized dealers, the Photo Diary is a fun, easy, and modern way of documenting photos and making them a lasting keepsake, handed down horn generation to generation, and shared among family and friends.

When Eczema strikes, use the effective treatment of Elica

Eczema can be unbearable for children because it can interrupt their sleep at night. If you see them rubbing their affected skin on bedsheet, pillows or other things in an attempt to relieve the itch, chances are they may get infection just by doing that.

Eczema is a non-contagious, inflammatory skin condition that is characterized by itching, redness, and scaly rashes. These symptoms can be painful, cause skin coloring changes, and blisters. It mostly appear on the legs, arms, face and hands. It is treatable,  always keep your child's skin properly moisturized to help keep away from being dry.

For your first aid, you can always apply petroleum jelly on the affected part because it contain moisturizing oil than and is effective on keeping the skin moisturized.

Elica ambassadors celebrity mom Cheska Kramer and kid Scarlett graced the launch of Elica on August 19 at Ascott Hotel, BGC and shared her daughter's itch story in the “Sweet Dreams with Mometasonefuroate (Elica)”  “Scar couldn’t sleep talaga when she gets eczema flare-ups kasi it’s so itchy and she keeps on scratching,” Cheska said. During the event, the causes of Eczema and how it could negatively impact children were discussed.

Such is the case for celebrity mom Cheska Garcia-Kramer and her daughter Scarlett. According to Cheska, Scarlett used to cry at night because of her itchy rashes. But after their doctor recommended mometasonefuroate or Elica, a topical steroid from Bayer Philippines, both mom and child saw results within 24 hours. The peaceful rests returned and since then, both mother and daughter have had sweet dreams.

“Our pediatrician recommended Elica and it really helped relieve Scarlett of the itch, redness and swelling because of her eczema,” Cheska said.

Eczema flare-ups can be triggered by several factors, including dust mites, family pets, heat or harsh soaps. “These triggers should be controlled in order to avoid the symptoms of eczema,” Dr. LyraYamat iterated.

When a child can’t sleep at night, it’s usually because of the monsters under the bed. And that keeps mommies awake too. That’s why they do everything in their power to drive away the scares so that kids can have a good night’s rest. But there’s one monster that is difficult to put to sleep: the monster that attacks the skin, eczema.

Eczema is characterized by red, dry, itchy rashes on the skin.It is more common in children than in adults. It can also have a huge negative impact on a kid’s life, like sleep deprivation.

Flare-ups may require more than just moisturizers and in such instances, a fast and powerful treatment is needed. Elica, a topical steroid, is considered to be the first line of defense for eczema. It can help relieve eczema symptoms with visible results in 24 hours, and needs only to be applied once daily, unlike most topical steroids that are applied twice a day. Moreover, clinical studies have demonstrated Elica’s efficacy and safety profile. Elica has also been recommended and prescribed by doctors for many years.

“Eczema should be treated immediately, because it can affect a child’s self-esteem, social activities and of course, sleep,” Dr. Yamat further explained.

When Eczema strikes, use the effective treatment of Elica and see results in 24 hours, so that both kids and moms can sleep tight.

Elica comes in cream and ointment formats, available over-the-counter without doctor’s presciption. For more information on Elica, go to www.treateczema.ph or visit www.facebook.com/ElicaPH.

Delightful-E Simple to Save

Electrolux’s annual clothes donation drive is back with a twist. This year, Electrolux will continue to collect and wash your donated pre-loved clothes, but will add a personal touch to the advocacy.

From simply collecting pre-loved clothes for calamity-stricken survivors, Electrolux, in partnership with Gawad Kalinga’s Trese, will add extra warmth by transforming unusable donated clothes into quilts for new born babies from orphanages and other communities.

Quilts are traditionally made to preserve a story told by each piece of fabric sewn to form it.In Delightful-E Simple to Share, these quilts will document a story of underprivileged moms helping new-borns in need. This new twist to Electrolux’s advocacy aims to show that sharing goes beyond donating clothes.“Through Delightful-E Simple, we hope to mark the difference between giving and sharing. For when we share, we freely impart a piece of ourselves—our time, effort, and concern. Hence, we are able to give more,” explains Pionilla.

Cheska Kramer Shows the Importance of Sangobion

Sangobion shows women the value of taking care of oneself & loving life

Cheska Kramer with son Gavin

Sangobion ambassadors led by Chezka Kramer and Jenni Epperson launched the organic iron made Sangobion in media on May 6, 2014 at Makati Shangrila.  Kelly Misa hosted the event, while Dr. Sylvia Carnero informed the effects of lack of iron in women. Women who were present at the event were treated to an afternoon of relaxation and pampering by having a nail spa and styling their hair. The event was turned into a salon-like party.

Women are natural nurturers. Some women love cooking for others, some like to give gifts, while others enjoy lending a helping hand. It is in these acts of kindness that we often feel happy and fulfilled. Though we have much love to share, we often show love for ourselves the least.  But by focusing on our own well-being and pampering ourselves once in a while, we learn that in order to give love, we must begin loving ourselves first.

This is the kind of self-empowerment that Sangobion (ferrous gluconate + vitamins and minerals) would like to advocate to women all over. The demands of modern life often make women feel pressured both at home and at work –making it easy for women to neglect themselves. The Sangobion Go Love Life! campaign reminds women that while we take care of others, we must not forget to take care of ourselves as well. When we are at our best selves, then we can lead a life that we love.

Kelly Misa hosted the Sangobion event
The event demonstrated to women how regularly taking time off and boosting your health with Sangobion can help you to go and love life.Unlike other iron supplements, Sangobion contains Ferrous gluconate, an organic iron, which is absorbed better by the body to help fight the signs of iron deficiency. Each capsule is chocolate-scented that leaves no iron after-taste. Sangobion also contains essential vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C, Folic acid, Vitamin B12, Copper, and Manganese to build healthy red blood cells and immune system. It also contains sorbitol which acts as anti-constipating agent that generally occurs in iron supplementation.

Furthermore, Sangobion helps fight signs of iron deficiency like fatigue, paleness, dizziness, and lack of focus and concentration which women experience when they neglect themselves. Taking Sangobion everyday can help you boost your iron, so that you can look and be at your best.
The launch was also the kick-off for Sangobion’s 15-day challenge. In addition to taking Sangobion everyday for 15 days, these women also made the pledge to practice loving themselves first and to encourage other women to do the same.

Sangobion is also partnering with select establishments to treat women to special pocket events including a shopping spree and a makeover session, which are expected to draw in more women to the cause.

Sangobion’s new efforts truly show women that caring for others also means having a healthy relationship with yourself. It’s about loving yourself first so you can fully embrace the life you lead.
