When I am travelling for an out of town or abroad. I always choose a bag or backpack  which is lightweight and big enough to hold all my essentials. Epson Named Among Top 100 Global Innovators for Sixth Consecutive Year


Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, “Epson”) was listed among the 2016 Top 100 Global Innovators announced by Philadelphia-based Clarivate Analytics, formerly the Intellectual Property & Science business of Thomson Reuters. Epson has been named to the list every year since its inception in 2011.

1.    Melasma. Commonly found among Asian women, melasma is considered to be the most difficult to treat among hyperpigmentation cases. It usually manifests itself in the form of dark patches on the face. Another type of birthmark is the port-wine stain which are red or purple marks that commonly affect the face and neck. They are caused by abnormal bleeding of blood vessels in the affected area. If left untreated they eventually get darker.

3.    Tattoos. About 20% to 30% of inked people regret getting a tattoo – from decorative to cosmetic tattoos such as eyebrow, eyeliner and lip stain tattoos. Other methods of removing these marks involve surgery or the use of acid which could damage the skin.

The DERMAX MedLight laser has been proven to effectively treat melasma, birthmarks, tattoos and other skin discolorations. For melasma treatment, the MedLight laser creates an invisible beam of light that is pulsed repeatedly at a fraction of a second. The pigments in the dark patches of the skin are fragmented and reabsorbed over a six- to eight-week period. The treatment is simple, non-invasive, with minimal risk and recovery time.

For tattoo removal and treatment of birthmarks, the Q-switched Nd:YAG laser is commonly used as it delivers laser beam at 1064 nm for dark ink and 532 nm for colored ink. Micro-adjustments for spot size and depth can be done. Treatment may take between three to six sessions, depending on the depth of the tattoo and the inks used.

Meanwhile, for birthmark treatment, patients can expect a slight temporary bruising or crusting for about seven to 10 days. After that, the marks will noticeably fade. You may need to book several sessions of MedLight laser treatment depending on the size of the birthmark. For those with port-wine stains, getting a laser therapy at a young age leads to better results. However, not all types of birthmarks can be treated with laser; in some cases, surgery may be required.

Canon Marketing launches SIKAP for DepEd students









Canon Marketing, DepEd and Marylindbert International launched SIKAP on Feb. 20 at the DepEd Qc. The launch was attended by Canon Marketing executives, DepEd officials and selected students from NCR.

Vital records are documents issued by the government that prove you exist and indicate your status. These documents include birth certificates, marriage licences, death certificates, insurances, citizenship and other pertinent records that you might use in the future.



Both vital records and legal documents should be stored in a safe and secure location.  In this regard, Canon Marketing partners with DepEd and Marylindbert International for SIKAP

SIKAP which stands for School Immersion and Key Advancement Program is an advocacy of Canon Philippines on the importance of effective archiving and history. Its main objective is to provide students, teachers and parents a better perspective on how to take proper care of pertinent and important documents relevant to their daily lives, help them recognize and reinforce knowledge and skills in both digital and physical archiving and to afford them easy access to high quality printing and scanning devices that enables enrichment of academic and creative skills.



The advocacy campaign will be piloted in select schools in NCR. Teaching guides and learning materials will be given for free to all participating schools.
