The Top 5 Reasons why spouses would cheat on each other

Whether we like it or not, affairs are getting more and more commonplace these days. We see couples breaking up, husbands cheating on wives and vice-versa.  Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why spouses would cheat on each other.

1. Out of Sight, Out of Mind
One of the most common reasons why couples cheat on each other is absence. While it should make the heart grow fonder, when one partner becomes too busy or distracted with work or other matters, the flame starts to grow cold. This is when the other side starts to look for warmth somewhere else.

2. Vengeance is Mine
Another trigger for an affair is revenge, if one side has been caught cheating or has had a history of being unfaithful, a partner can find the means to make it even. This starts a dangerous spiral that will make both lovers unhappy in the end.

3. I Don’t Remember a Thing
Alcohol, drugs, and a fun night out are recipes for disaster. An evening of a good time can quickly turn into a morning of hungover and regret. Not knowing where you are and who you’re with can instantly end a relationship.

4. Because I Can
Another reason for cheating is the mere fact that a person CAN do it. This comes from a bloated ego that thinks he or she can get what they want, when they want. Regardless of the consequences or the outcome.

5. Age is Just a Number
Sometimes one’s age can also be a trigger for cheating. Getting older can be difficult for some people to accept. This sparks a sudden need to prove that they’re not as old as they seem to be, prompting bouts of cheating and extramarital affairs.
