Pair your Costa Coffee's Cold Brew with the new wafflewich and save up to P80!

Since I am watching my diet and love coffee. I have been trying on these cold brews nowadays. They are just plain cold coffee without the sugar and cream. They are my new addiction aside of course from fruit and brewed teas.

COSTA COFFEE pumps some adrenaline rush to the ber months, beginning this September by introducing a new and refreshing way to get your caffeine fix! Have a cup of Costa Coffee’s Cold Brew, a new and #Londonstyle kind of cool way to jumpstart any day.

Costa Coffee serves seven premium flavours of its latest coffee innovation: the classic and thirst-quenching Cold Brew Black and Cold Brew White, the naturally sweet Cold Brew Caramel, the creamy Cold Brew Vanilla, the sparkling Cold Brew Mojito that comes with a bit of fizz and mint flavour, and the silky well-balanced Cold Brew with Whipped Milk.

Each was designed to enhance the taste profile of the slow brewed, single-origin blend and offer discerning coffee lovers with cold coffee teeming with a rich and balanced flavour. Coffee aficionados can also enjoy Costa Coffee’s Ice Shaken Flat White with Whipped Milk.

These smooth, chilled drinks are handcrafted from 100% single origin, carefully-selected Arabica Colombian beans that are immersed in fresh filtered water and brewed in-store by baristas for 20 hours to bring out the coffee’s natural sweetness. The brew is then chilled for at least 12 hours before being serving over ice to produce a smooth and light texture. And because the slow brewing process does not use heat, coffee acidity is reduced, resulting in a more distinct taste.

Costa Coffee also launches its new line of Wafflewich, a fusion of light and fluffy waffle toasts with your favourite filling or spread—to simulate a sandwich. There’s the Choco Banana Wafflewich with choco-hazelnut cream & banana slices, Berry Butter Wafflewich that’s oozing with strawberry jam and butter shavings, and the Cream Cheese Wafflewich slathered and packed with cream cheese goodness.

But can all these get any better? It can! Because there’s a “Wafflewich Combo” beginning September 6! Now you can now pair your desired Cold Brew coffee (all in Primo size) and pair it with any Wafflewich of your choice for P250 only (up to P80 savings).

Have your #LondonStyle coffee at Costa BGC

I once dined in at Costa Abu Dhabi Al Wahda Mall UAE 3 years ago, it was an excellent coffee experience as I got the classic smooth taste of  Flat White of Britain's famous coffee shop. Flat white is their bestseller because of its velvety, smooth texture which is not frothy because the milk is blended into three espresso shots. When I went home after a brief stint at UAE, I missed my flat white but since the PH is not third country anymore we were lucky enough to have Costa's franchise and open up three Costa branches one after the other.  The latest Costa branch is located at One World Place, BGC.

Costa's interiors remind me of London and Spice Girls with their signature red phone booth and cozy Britain's sofa which is stained proof in case you spill your flat white, americanos or lattes there. The place caters to the trendier young professionals and coffee lovers out there who opt for the  #LondonStyle.

There are other options aside from their bestseller Flat White and or Caramella. If youre a tea-kind of person, a tea is a welcome sight to those who love theirs hot or cold.  Cakes like Red Velvet is the best pair to your flat white coffee and in my case, my brewed lemon tea.

Sandwiches, cookies and revel cakes are a must-order when you visit the place. Discover your best pairing and dine in #LondonStyle.

It was a cold London afternoon in 1971 when two brothers, Bruno and Sergio Costa, decided to create something truly remarkable. Their love for premium coffee led them to sell their product to local caterers and soon after, to open their very first café.

Since then, Costa has become a leading global coffee shop brand with over 40 years of expertise. Our irresistible coffee is served in over 3,000 Costa stores around the world. The Costa brothers’ dream was to bring irresistible coffee and community spirit to the people of London – today the vision is bold and simple. To be the world’s favorite coffee shop brand…and this legacy has finally arrived on Philippine shores.

The art of coffee
The Costa brothers created their own unique blend of coffee, a combination of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans. They called this smooth, round but rich tastes, the Mocha Italia and the blend became a closely guarded secret.  To this day, Costa Coffee remains true to the original Mocha Italia recipe, which is still slow-roasted in the Old Paradise Street Roastery in London.

Costa coffees are all handcrafted and espresso based, giving each specialty, like Flat White, the Mocha Italia aroma and body only a proper cup of coffee should have.

Costa employs Master Genarro Peliccia as their official Coffee Master. Master Genarro is responsible for ensuring the taste that Costa is known and loved for remains consistent in every Costa cafe, so much so that his tongue was once insured for GBP 10 Million.

Barista of the Year
To celebrate Costa Coffee’s commitment to serving only the finest brews, a worldwide competition is held every year, where Costa Coffee baristas from every country compete to showcase the skills they have learned to make the best speciality drinks. This year, the Philippines is finally able to take part.

The competition, which started on October 6 held its final leg on the 26th of the same month, where the winners from Costa Coffee Eastwood and Costa Coffee Robinsons Place Manila competed for the chance to represent the country next year in Singapore.

Where art meets coffee: BGC
The finals were held during the opening of Costa Coffee’s third store in the stunning Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila. Cara Manglapus treated guests to her musical renditions of British classics, as they snacked on perfect coffee pairings, which includes pastries made especially for Costa Coffee Philippines.  Invitees spent the afternoon #LondonStyle as they were immersed in the different sights and sounds of what it would be like to have high coffee in the world’s cultural capital.

Costa Coffee has also opened branches in Eastwood and Robinsons Place Manila.

To anticipate Costa Coffee’s BGC store opening, Costa Coffee will be having a special promotional offer on October 27: Order your Mocha Frostino with a British Accent and get it for free from 10am-12nn of opening day!
