BOLD TWISTS
Mark Bumgarner takes modern elegance to a whole new level with softly structured ensembles in red and nudes with his signature feminine touch. Perfectly represented by actress and host Sarah Lahbati, his pieces—much like the bold twist hair trend of the season—can look just as gorgeous off the runway and in real life.  Top hair professional Lourd Ramos completes the look with various renditions of the very wearable yet incredibly chic modern twist. Gorgeously smooth, straight hair is gathered and twisted low on the nape, or on the side to frame the face to create a romantic yet modern look. All this is made possible by the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner, which are formulated to leave hair salon-smooth for up to 48 hours, for the runway and beyond. “Soft, smooth, feminine, long… my pieces take inspiration and are made to match the season’s bold twists,” says Mark.

CITY SLEEK
Known for his geometric and architectural designs, Ivarluski Aseron brings his City Sleek vision to life with striking black pieces. Style star Martine Cajucom dons his perfectly structured designs, which complement the simple yet stunning straight, long, and sleek hairstyles of the season. “Black, structured, and designed with mesh… my pieces are inspired by the clean lines and sleek look of the gorgeously long and straight hair trend,” says Ivar. Top hair expert Victor Ortega breaks out the flat iron to achieve this look, which entails healthy and protected hair to look great. He protects hair by using a dollop of the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Activated Treatment, which has thermal technology and Keratin to protect the hair before styling into the straight and shiny City Sleek look. The product is made to protect hair against heat, and work with the heat of the flat iron in transforming unruly hair into salon-smooth strands.

MODERN EDGE
Inspired by the modern and sleek pompadour that ruled the runways of many a fashion label, designer Jerome Lorico creates stunning textured metallic ensembles in a futuristic palette of silver, platinum, and black. “There is a sense of confidence with having your hair swept up from the forehead. Kings have crowns, lions have their mane, and some birds have huge plumages. It invokes pride and power. For me, it conveys a certain energy that makes the person not just sleek, but daring and more modern,” says Jerome. As fierce as his muse Joey Mead-King, his pieces clearly reflect the edgy feel of the modern edge trend that’s tempered with a polished finish. Top hairstylist Henri Calayag works the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Treatment Mask on the hair before creating a bit of volume on top on the head, and TRESemmé Flatiron Smoothing Spray to create gorgeously salon-smooth tresses.

RUNWAY READY TRESSES
From the Front Row—together with M.A.C, which help complete the Tresetters’ looks---TRESemmé #RunwayReady2017 allows you to own the trend, own the front row and achieve gorgeous salon-smooth hair with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth.

#StandUpToStylingDamage for that salon- gorgeous look everyday with TRESemme

Everyone wants locks that is strong and healthy-looking.   But if you are keeping up with the hair trends, your crowning glory will suffer from the harsh chemicals brought by too much coloring and hairstyling.  Last year, I went from brown to candy red. It was amazing and I wanted to "own the color" for the rest of the year, which is next to impossible. I have been looking for a purple shampoo and conditioner online, but shipping in means paying twice the amount of shampoo and conditioner, so I ended up with some local shampoo and conditioner available. I wasnt happy with the protection it gives , my hair becomes brittle and turned into brown orange, which was expected but not too soon. I bought two branded argan oil to condition the hair strands, it did wonder for a while, but still looking for that one hair wonder that would treat the damage done by my constant hairstyling and coloring. That is when I discovered TRESemme Platinum Strength variants at an event I attended last March 17 at SM Makati. The TRESemme Platinum Strength launch was hosted by Ms. Georgina Wilson and graced by Renowned Hair Stylist TRESemme Hair Care Expert Lourd Ramos of Creations.

TRESemme Hair Care Expert Lourd Ramos demonstrated how to take care of one's hair using the TRESemme Platinum Strength variants to the three models who sported Spring/Summer 2016’s most covetable ‘dos: Uptown Sleek, Copper Waves and the Diane Curls.

Now, you can stand up to styling damage with the TRESemme Platinum Strength Range. From the salon-grade brand used and trusted by professionals, TRESemme Platinum Strength fortifies and strengthens hair like no other, repairing up to two years of damage caused by everyday hairstyling such as heat styling and coloring. Dry, dull, and desperate tresses will find their match with the TRESemme Platinum Strength Shampoo, Conditioner, Treatment Mask, and Stay Soft Leave In Treatment, all featuring the line’s Platinum Strength Renewing Complex. This technology’s intensive moisturizers strengthen every hair strand to prevent breakage and further signs of aggression—from coloring that dries the strands and makes them brittle to blow-drying, ironing, and curling that use heat and damage the locks. It reinforces every strand’s natural protective layer, so you can get strong, salon-gorgeous hair every day.

This season, with TRESemme Platinum Strength in your back pocket, you can recreate the hottest hair trends straight from the runways of New York Fashion Week, without worrying about the damage caused by styling. Spotted on the catwalk were three of the Spring/Summer 2016’s most covetable ‘dos: Uptown Sleek, Copper Waves and the Diane Curls. Take on the heat with the Uptown Sleek, sported by Hollywood A-listers and models at the Carolina Herrera show. A chic long bob, this style features smooth and straight locks, giving off a sophisticated edge. Keep on coloring with Copper Waves, just like those presented at BCBG Max Azria. This ‘do adds a hint of volume with the right attitude, and is fabulously worn with a touch of color. And finally, bounce back from curling, with the Diane Curls, aptly inspired by fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg herself. This look uses tight curls usually swept to the side and pinned with an accessory.

With salon strong hair made possible by TRESemme Platinum Strength, you can take on the heat, bounce back from curling, and keep on coloring, without worrying about damage or breakage. #StandUpToStylingDamage, so you can look salon-gorgeous every day.

Tresemme is back with Runway Ready Backstage Fashion Show year 2.

THE TRESEMMÉ RUNWAY READY BACKSTAGE FASHION SHOW IS BACK

TRESemmé, the brand used by hair professionals, is back with its Runway Ready Backstage Fashion Show year two. Manila’s stylesetters and fashionphiles are once again given “backstage access" during one of the country’s most awaited fashion shows.

For the 2015 Runway Ready Backstage Fashion Show, TRESemmé puts backstage magic front and center, as guests witness live action behind the scenes where top hair trends are recreated right before models hit the runway.

Three of the country’s top hair professionals and TRESetters—Jing Monis, Lourd Ramos, and Victor Ortega collaborated with three of Manila’s most celebrated designers to recreate various long hair trends, from bombshell blowouts to longtails and braids and twists. Meanwhile, designers Rajo Laurel, Francis Libiran, and Rhett Eala are set to present their exclusively created ensembles inspired by the brand’s newest range, TRESemmé Split Repair. As the Split Repair range makes for long, gorgeous and smooth tresses, the designers’ works will incorporate long, clean lines, and fluid strokes to go with Runway Ready long hair.

AS LONG AS IT TAKES

Jing Monis recreates straight and stylish ‘dos for Rajo Laurel’s collection with TRESemmé’s Split Repair—from shiny hair in long ponytails held high or tied low at the nape to “out of water” styles that are uber-sleek and shiny. “Chic and classic, long hair is sure to stand the test of time, but how you style it is the key to staying modern,” says Jing. “This season’s high, sleek and ultra-long ponytails, or wet and shiny tresses pulled back or combed up are perfect ways to style your long straight hair.”

Rajo brings this vision to life with beautiful fringed creations, from pieces that feature asymmetric or uneven fringed hems to layered fringed skirts and even embellished collars with fringes—all evocative of the various styles and lengths of salon-gorgeous hair only made possible by TRESemmé Split Repair. “My collection was inspired by long, gorgeous straight hair. I highlighted the concept of hair smoothness and length—with a sheen on fringes and unified movement.”

MOVE IT

Inspired by bombshell blowouts, tumbling waves, as well as dramatic big buns that ruled the 2015 runways, Lourd Ramos recreates a couple of renditions for Francis Libiran’s collection. The collaboration showcases two sides of a story—flowing, moving, liberating, as well as shaped and structured. Loose features, soft fabrication plus sculpted pieces make for the designer’s feminine pieces—while Lourd’s long, wavy ‘dos and stylized big buns provide the perfect complement.

“Hollywood-like bombshell blowouts work great for all face shapes, while big buns create a certain drama and allure,” assures Lourd. “The longer the hair, the better!” Just like Split Repair treated hair that’s shiny, soft, and moisturized, Francis’ features long, flowy pieces that move along with every step, as well as more sculptured pieces that mimic long hair styled in a more structured ‘do.

BRUSH IT UP

Victor Ortega relies on his creative prowess to make a mix of twists, loose ‘dos, and all sorts of braids, only possible with long and beautiful tresses, for the collection of Rhett Eala. His elaborate long hair ‘dos—from twisted rope braids to classic plaits—are made to perfectly match the designer’s fine lines and fluid strokes. “Just like the stunning abstract strokes of Rhett which were inspired by the season’s hair twists, my hairstyles feature loops, knots, braids, among others,” shares Victor.

Rhett’s pieces, true enough, feature gentle color sweeps on necklines or elaborate strokes on full skirts. The fluidity of the strokes on each of his creations is made possible by the use of paint brushes made of human hair that were treated with the TRESemmé Split Repair line. “With the range binding split ends, finer and smoother brushstrokes allowed me to make more precise works of art,” says Rhett.

LONG SALON GORGEOUS HAIR, YOU CAN WEAR

You too can achieve the looks of the Runway Ready models right in your own home, as effortlessly executed by TRESemmé’s hair professionals. Having the TRESemmé Split Repair line on your own dresser is just like having the pros’ work at your fingertips, truly giving you the extra edge to style your hair the way you want it. With this new range, split ends won’t get in the way of achieving this season’s long hair trends. Its revolutionary sealing mechanism Repair Complex binds up to 88% of split ends.

Giordano celebrates 25th anniversary with a circus theme, fashion show and a concert

It was in the early 90s when Giordano made a name in the fashion scene. The classic tshirts were well loved among the fashionistas because of its cottony feel that comes in different vibrant colors. The classic shirt is great with any jeans, khaki or denim with sneakers to complete the look.  It becomes the signature inner wear of almost everyone, because of its value for money.  After 2 decades and 5 years,  Giordano celebrates their 25th anniversary with a circus theme, fashion show and a concert.

In celebration with its 25th anniversary, a circus themed games and performances by classic circus characters such as clowns, mimes stilt walkers, magicians, lion man and fire eaters  was held at Eastwood Mall Open Park last November 22, 2014.  Giordano also has a concert topbilled by Giordano ambassador, Filipino music icon Rico Blanco, Brownman Revival and Franco.

Giordano showcased its 2014 Fall/Winter collection. Classic, perfect-for-the-chilly-weather pieces like oxford shirts, Breton tops, long-sleeved tees, denim, khakis and polos were paraded on the runway and worn by top models Ria Bolivar, Jasmine Maierhofer and Justine Gabionza. Award-winning fashion show director Ogee Atos took the shows reins while stylist Charmaine Palermo and makeup artist Lourd Ramos made up and styled the models.

The climax of the event was a concert which featured Rico Blanco, Franco and Brownman Revival. Blanco capped off the night with a performance of the crowd pleaser Giordano theme song, ‘World Without Strangers’.

Brownman Revival

“We thank everyone who celebrated this milestone with us. Giordano has evolved so much over the past two decades, and Filipinos have been a huge part of the brand’s success. When Giordano first opened here in the country, we never thought that we would sign on celebrities, much more a song composed by Rico Blanco,” said Larry C. Lim, Giordano Philippines’ CEO and President.

“We look forward to the next two decades and more, and our customers can expect more timeless and classic pieces from us in our future collections,” he said.

TRESemme mounts the first runway fashion show

Tresemme rules the runway from gorgeous dresses to salon ready tresses, the hair matches the outfit, be it formal, streetwear, or casual. The show featured 200 runway ready models on June 5, 2014 at the PICC.

TRESemmé mounted the country’s first backstage to runway fashion show where top hair professionals revealed the styling secret to salon gorgeous and runway ready hair!
Joey Mead King

Over 800 top and aspiring models from all over the country joined the Grand Casting Call for a chance to grace the catwalk of TRESemmé’s 2014 Runway Ready Fashion Show. These models had to prove that they were worthy to strut the runway, sport the latest hair trends as well as don the hottest ensembles from top retail brands and the country’s most celebrated designers.
Myrza Sison and Apples Aberin

Marrying top trends with the hottest hairstyles, this show is set to be a fashion first, one excitedly attended by the who’s who of the fashion industry. In unique runway ready fashion, the show brings to life behind-the-scenes action from the backstage straight to the runway.

Road To The Runway
As anticipation built up for the country’s first backstage to runway fashion show, TRESemmé ambassador, Asia’s Next Top Model mentor, and veteran host Joey Mead-King, took the stage to kick off this fashion first, one that is touted to be at par with the hottest shows as seen in this year’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

Hair professionalsJing Monis, Lourd Ramos, and Victor Ortega—used TRESemmé to help the models achieve the latest in hair style trends, which complemented this year's hottest looks on the runway.

Victor Ortega, created three looks that perfectly complemented the street-style trends for the show’s High Street segment, featuring top label from luxury brand retailer Stores Specialists, Inc. Stradivarius highlighted the high-street Prints, duly punctuated with Ortega's playful waterfall braids, feminine side braids, and elegant fishtail braids.

Apples Aberin and Liz Uy

Minimalist Chic was the trend in focus for the collection of Kenneth Cole. Ortega paired these streamlined styles with a sleek, side-part do, showing that less can be more. Kate Spade and Marc by Marc Jacobs played with punches of color and texture for the Paper Dolls trend. These looks were punched up with the bumped up pony, which played with volume that added a bit of contrast and drama to the regular street look.

Robby Carmona
Next on the runway, TRESemmé hair professional, Lourd Ramos, highlighted three Prêt-à-Porter fashion trends with spruced up tresses. Geometric Shapes led the segment, featuring the structural designs of Mark Bumgarner, Charina Sarte, and Cesar Gaupo. These structured shapes were balanced off with gorgeous, one-sided mermaid waves. For Fluid Lines, which characterized the billowy and femme collections of Jojie Lloren, Pia Gladys Perey, Vania Romoff, and Dennis Lustico, faux bobs with short waves created an elegant look for the night. As for the embellished Textures of Gian Romano’s, Eric Delos Santos’, and Lulu Tan Gan’s collections, Ramos created slick center-parted ’dos as simple accents to the multi-dimensional styles.

The finalé showcased Haute Couture creations from renowned fashion designers Albert Andrada, Jun Escario, Francis Libiran, Rajo Laurel, and Ezra Santos. These pieces demanded no less than dramatic hair from TRESemmé hair professional, Jing Monis. Monis took to the stage his own rendition of volumetric curls that emphasized the elaborate designer creations.

The Styling Secret Used By Professionals
Achieving the envy-worthy do’s seen on the runway of TRESemmé’s Runway Ready Fashion Show was an easy feat with TRESemmé’s Keratin Smooth range which infuses Keratin into every strand as it keeps hair frizz-free for up to 48 hours.

And to keep those strands in place, our hair professionals used TRESemmé’s Salon Finish Extra Hold Hair Spray which offers long lasting extra firm hold, so you can control your style all-day long even in damp or humid condition, giving the models salon gorgeous hair that’s perfect for the catwalk.
With salon gorgeous tresses by top hair professionals, the country’s first backstage to runway fashion show reveals that the secret to runway ready hair is the one and only TRESemmé.
