TNT Spreads ‘Saya’ with a Special Meet-and-Greet Featuring Kathryn Bernardo and Joshua Garcia!

 Five lucky TNT subscribers welcomed the new year filled with unforgettable 'saya' moments through their special meet-and-greet session with TNT katropas Kathryn Bernardo and Joshua Garcia, one of the many special prizes of the TNT Paskong Panalo promo.

Just by registering to their favorite TNT promos, Benjie Carpio of Pasig, Gelica Gemina of Quezon City, and Ophelia Dantes of Tarlac racked up raffle entries that paved the way for them to finally meet Kathryn and have a free-flowing conversation with her over lunch - much like katropas catching up with one another.

"Di ako makapaniwala na nasa harap ko si Kathryn! Sobrang na-appreciate ko po itong experience," said Gelica, 34, a BPO employee and TNT subscriber for 14 years.

"Cloud 9 po talaga ang feeling. Di ko rin inexpect na sobrang friendly at sobrang wise ni Kathryn. Worth it po talaga yung puyat ko," said 29-year-old Ophelia, who traveled to the venue straight from her graveyard shift.

"Kinabahan po ako at di talaga makapaniwala," said 34-year old Benjamin, who sat directly across Kathryn throughout the entire session. "Napaka-humble at napakabait niya at sana hindi siya magbago.”

As a TNT katropa, Kathryn gamely talked about her career and personal life, and even shared life advice with the lucky subscribers during the intimate gathering.

‘Say words of affirmation as much as possible’

"Di kami lumaking expressive. Pero ngayon na may pamangkin na ako, we're trying our best to say words of affirmation as much as possible. We learned that it's important to say 'I love you, thank you, and I'm sorry' to children," Kathryn said.

"Also, please don't forget to take good care of yourself. Wag niyong pabayaan ang sarili niyo dahil marami kayong iniintindi," she reminded the three subscribers.

‘Hindi ko po ito malilimutan’

On the other hand, two other lucky subscribers  - 37-year-old Najer Basser of Iloilo City and 30-year-old Roselyn Ricorte of Pagadian City - went on to meet and exchange life stories with Joshua.

"Akala ko po talaga ay scam lang to nung una, kaya sobrang saya ko po nung nakita ko si Joshua. Maraming salamat po sa TNT, hindi ko po ito malilimutan," said Roselyn, who left her small sari-sari store for a day just to fly into Manila and meet Joshua.

“TNT lang po talaga ang load na binebenta ko sa may amin sa Pagadian kasi yun po ang malakas ang signal,” she said.

"Yung pamilya ko naman, gustong makipagpalit sa akin para ma-meet si Joshua! Nagpapasalamat ako sa TNT kasi ‘di ko inexpect na mangyayari ito," shared Najer, who makes a living selling slippers and sandals at a public market. 

'Maging mabuti at magtrabaho nang marangal'

"I-video call natin sila para maniwala sila," Joshua urged the Roselyn and Najer, and then chatted with their families, sending them into a frenzy.

"Maraming salamat po dahil bumyahe pa po kayo nang malayo just to spend time with me. I really appreciate your time," said Joshua, who also shared about his experiences as a BatangueƱo being new to the city.

“Na-overwhelm ako noon sa mga building at sa dami ng pwedeng gawin dito. Pero ngayon, mas na-appreciate ko na yung katahimikan sa probinsiya,” he said.

Asked for life advice to share with the two subscribers, Joshua said: "Siguro pareho lang sa  payo sa akin ng tito kong pari - maging mabuti at magtrabaho nang marangal at walang tinatapakang ibang tao."

"Naniniwala rin po ako na darating ang success pag nagsusumikap at kumikilos tayo," he added.

Smart and TNT Issue Warning to Customers About Fake SIM Registration Portal Scam

 Mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc., along with its value brand TNT, has warned subscribers about spurious text messages urging subscribers to re-register their SIM in fake SIM registration portals.

In their latest public advisory, Smart and TNT bared this new modus of scammers, whose message often comes with a link that leads to a phishing domain imitating the SIM registration portal of Smart.


"Smart did not send these messages. These messages are phishing attempts aimed at stealing your personal information," the telco said in its advisory.


"Smart clarifies that there is NO NEED to re-register your Smart or TNT SIM if you have successfully registered it before. Please disregard any message asking you to register again."

Smart and TNT also remind the public that their official SIM registration portal is https://simreg.smart.com.ph.

Customers are encouraged to report incidents of text scams and phishing messages, among others, via the Smart and TNT public reporting portal called HuliScam at www.smart.com.ph/huliscam .

The HuliScam portal complements the new and more advanced network firewall that the PLDT Group had recently activated to block malicious messages from passing through its network, providing customers a safer and more secure mobile lifestyle.

TNT bagged prestigious recognitions at the APAC EFFIE Awards 2024

TNT won the Best Branding Campaign gold award


TNT, the value brand of mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has won the Best Branding Campaign gold award for its TNT Petmaloop Challenge in the first-ever TikTok Ad Awards Philippines.

 

“The TNT Petmaloop Challenge bested over 150 submissions from various consumer brands to win gold in the Best Branding Campaign category,” said Paolo David, Country Head for Brand Growth and Partnerships at TikTok, who earlier said that the awards aim to “recognize brands for their remarkable endeavors in crafting entertaining campaigns that resonate with communities, inspiring them to take meaningful action."


Launched in October 2023, the TNT Petmaloop Challenge urged content creators nationwide to feature interesting highlights about their communities and regions that give them ‘saya’ or joy and upload them on TikTok. As part of the challenge, the participants could only use one TNT-powered smartphone, which they passed from one user to another in a relay.

 

The brand took everything to a whole new level by enabling the participants to livestream their journey from Bulacan to Manila on the video-sharing app without interruption, a feat that successfully set the Guinness World Record for the Longest Travel Livestream for a total of 26 hours, 15 minutes, and 29 seconds.

Smart and TNT Sweep Five Medals for Creative Excellence at the 16th Kidlat Awards


PLDT mobile services arm Smart Communications Inc. (Smart) and its value brand TNT bagged five metals at the recent Kidlat Awards 2024, which recognizes the country’s most creative advertising campaigns and the minds behind them.

 

TNT and its partner agency GIGIL clinched a gold award under Classic Creativity for its SIM Registration film and a silver award under Creativity in Engagement for the same campaign’s public relations execution.  


On the other hand, Smart and GIGIL won a bronze award under Creativity in Engagement for its epic Smart MOA Ball installation for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. 

 

Meanwhile, TNT’s world record-setting PetmaloopChallenge with partner agency Ace Saatchi & Saatchi snagged two bronze awards for Creativity in Engagement – Influencer and Creative in Engagement - Brand Experience.

After racking up millions of views and drawing praises from netizens for its wit and creativity, the viral video of mobile brand TNT entitled “Tattoo” has been recognized as Best TV material by Bestads, the world's best global ad industry website.

Bestads selects the best advertisements in every medium each week from submissions all over the world, as judged by a top creative director or team.

TNT launches the “Kilig-Saya Express” on July 19!

Here’s something to look forward to this July: Passengers of LRT-1 are set to enjoy a fun-filled and selfie-friendly train ride experience from Baclaran to Balintawak stations as TNT launches the “Kilig-Saya Express” on July 19, Monday.


A creative and unique dress-up of the Light Rail Transit (LRT-1) train, the “Kilig-Saya Express” features TNT ambassadors Sue Ramirez, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and swoon-worthy Thai idols Nonkul Chanon (Bad Genius), Gulf Kanawut (TharnType: The Series) and Asian superstar Mario Maurer (Love of Siam, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Pee Mak) that will surely give commuters a dose of happiness and good vibes.
