RTL CBS Entertainment Presents Intelligence.

INTELLIGENCE
Every Tuesday starting on February 11 at 9:55pm

A dramatic thriller starring Josh Holloway as Gabriel, a high-tech intelligence operative enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his brain. With this implant, Gabriel is the first human ever to be connected directly into the worldwide information grid and have complete access to Internet, WiFi, telephone and satellite data. He can hack into any data center and access key intel in the fight to protect the United States from its enemies. Leading the elite government cyber-security agency created to support him is Director Lillian Strand (Marg Helgenberger), a straightforward and efficient boss who oversees the unit’s missions. Strand assigns Riley Neal (Meghan Ory), a Secret Service agent, to protect Gabriel from outside threats, as well as from his own appetite for reckless, unpredictable behavior and his disregard for protocol. Other skilled members of the Cybercom team include Chris Jameson (Michael Rady) and Gonzalo "Gonzo" Rodriguez (James Martinez), two resourceful federal investigators. The brains behind the design of the chip is Dr. Shenendoah Cassidy (John Billingsley), whose son, Nelson (PJ Byrne), is jealous of Gabriel’s prominent place in his father’s life. As the first supercomputer with a beating heart, Gabriel is the most valuable piece of technology the country has ever created and is a U.S. secret weapon.

"Intelligence" stars Josh Holloway ("Lost") as Gabriel, Marg Helgenberger ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation") as Lillian Strand, Meghan Ory ("Once Upon a Time") as Riley Neal, Michael Rady ("The Mentalist") as Chris Jameson, James Martinez ("Gravity") as Gonzalo Rodriguez, John Billingsley ("True Blood") as Dr. Cassidy and P.J. Byrne ("Wolf of Wall Street") as Nelson Cassidy.

Monster Energy Drink Lets You Experience Japan with Professional Rally Driver Ken Block.

What makes Monster Energy drink different from the rest of the energy drinks?

Aside of course from giving you the much needed boost to keep you going stronger,  Monster also gives you the chance to visit the Land of the Rising Sun to meet Professional Rally Driver  Ken Block as he drifts his Ford fiesta at the Gymkhana grid course.

Monster Energy and Ellen Adarna dares you to Unleash the BEAST with the KEN BLOCK’s JAPAN EXPERIENCE promo.

Monster Energy Drink is gearing up to unleash professional rally driver phenomenon Ken Block in Japan in July with the “2014 Ken Block’s Japan Experience”! Block will be in Japan, along with the top drift series, D1, and 16 of their best drivers for an all-out energy-filled weekend you won’t want to miss.
Roughly 10,000 spectators gathered in 2013 to enjoy the sounds of the engines and the intoxicating smell of burning rubber, and 2014 will be even bigger and better, including new obstacles, top racers and notable Monster athletes and personalities.

Monster will be showcasing Ken’s Ford Fiesta ST car across the country, culminating in two final days of Gymkhana on July 26 and 27, and ultimately, a YouTube release of the entire program for fans to enjoy.
Gymkhana is a motorsport phenomenon gaining popularity across the globe.  Similar to autocross, gymkhana courses are complex routes filled with various obstacles that drivers must navigate through, racing against the clock as they go in an attempt to finish with the fastest time.  Beyond just being a skilled driver, memorizing the course is a significant part of achieving a fast time.

Once the flag drops at the starting line, the driver must maneuver through a predetermined “track” performing many different driving techniques. What separates gymkhana from traditional autocross events is that the gymkhana requires drivers to perform reversals, 180 degree spins, 360 degree spins, parking boxes, figure 8s, and other mind blowing skills. Drifting is also encouraged where helpful or necessary. Essentially, a gymkhana is any event featuring a starting point, a finish line and some sort of “obstacle” to get through, around, or by, all within a certain time limit.  However, if you are thinking of competing or riding along in an event with Monster Energy and Ken Block, you better get ready to take it to the next level with features such military tanks, giant dinosaurs, beautiful Monster Girls, and other surprises.

SM Cinema Exclusive for All is Lost.

ALL IS LOST

I can feel Robert Redford's anguish as he is surviving alone in an open water, with all the negativity around him. With no one to turn and talk to, watch out what one can do, how he never give up until the end.

ROBERT REDFORD PLAYS AN UNNAMED MAN
IN JC CHANDORS ALL IS LOST

Q. You choose your projects very carefully. What appealed to you about ALL IS LOST?

A. I saw it as an opportunity to do something I was longing to do, which was to have a complete experience as an actor and not think about anything else. It was to be a bold and pure cinematic experience without special effects, hardly any dialogue and a lot of challenges.

Q. Due to the lack of dialogue, the script was quite short. What did you think about the script when you first read it?

A. As soon as I read the script I knew I was in good hands because it was so carefully woven.

Q. Were you interested in sailing before getting involved in this film?

A. I grew up in Los Angeles close to the water; so, I surfed and swam and had a mild interest in sailing, but I was never in the deep sea alone. I had sailed to Catalina Island and in various other places in California, Canada and even off the coast of Mombasa, but it was always in somebody else’s boat, never by myself or in a storm. So I was familiar with water, but not like this. ALL IS LOST was a whole new experience for me.

Q. How was it to work with filmmaker J. C. Chandor?

A. I felt very comfortable in his hands. And, like my character in the movie, I was also learning on the job.

Q. What are the lessons your character is forced to learn during the course of the story?

A. Well, when things go beyond my character’s ability to cope with them he has to figure things out in the moment and improvise. So, in that way I felt connected to him.

Q. We don’t know your character’s name or much about him…

A. One of the things I loved about this film was precisely that we had little information about my character.  J. C. wrote a film that he understood completely. Due to his experience, he also knew enough about sailing to create details in the story that would have their own dramatic value. I enjoyed the fact that it didn’t have much information or dialogue because it created a challenge for me as an actor to be more fully inside the character.

Q. What is it about ALL IS LOST that makes it different than other films?

A. Well, if you go to the movies you can see that most of them are full of action and special effects but this was more pure. And the fact that there wasn’t too much said allowed the opportunity for the actor to provide his own sense to the character and for the audience to come more into the picture with him.

Q. What did you think of ALL IS LOST when you finally saw it completed?

A. I saw it at the Cannes Film Festival and thought: “Wow!” I mean, people could have booed it because it was so open; but they didn’t.

Q. What moments did you especially enjoy in the movie?

A. There were a couple of moments I especially liked when you could allow the audience to imagine how my character felt, which were when he wasn’t fighting something or taking care of business. In those moments of peace he would just look out and contemplate what was there.

Q. What could he see in those moments?

A. He could see a vast expansion of nothing but space. And then what was underneath him on that small boat was just miles and miles of deep water.

Q. What do you think the cinematographic storytelling reason was for those shots?

A. To make the audience feel a sense of aloneness. I can’t imagine how you can feel more alone than that! You don’t have ground under your feet to walk on or a tree to climb. I just thought that feeling was a very powerful element in the film that you hoped the audience would capture.

Q. What back-story did you imagine for your character?

A. I didn’t imagine anything more than what was there. At the beginning of the movie, when my character says that he is sorry and that he tried, it allows us to imagine that there is a family involved and that he isn’t a horrible person, but also that he failed at something. So, maybe this journey that he is on is his way to complete himself and find out if he can do something. That’s all I had, and it was enough for me because I didn’t want to go outside that too much.

One of the things I like about ALL IS LOST is that it lets the audience have their own interpretation instead of telling them how they are supposed to feel.
Q. Can you talk about the relevance of the title of the movie?

A. This film satisfied a lot of things for me, but one of them was that it was about something I am interested in, which is at what point, when things are really awful and all is lost, some people quit and others keep going.

Q. So, why do you believe your character keeps going on?

A. Because there is only continuing for him and nothing else for him to do. So, he keeps going because he can.

Q. You worked on another film years ago about a man who is also pushed to the limit and keeps going on, JEREMIAH JOHNSON. What are the similarities you see between them?

A. What these two films have in common is that they are about a character who encounters such hardship that it seems like it’s all impossible and he just can’t go any further. He is alone, either in water or on land, and one obstacle after another just keeps coming, each one greater than the last one.

Q. J. C. Chandor’s previous movie, MARGIN CALL, was very different than ALL IS LOST.

A. That was one of the things that impressed me about him! MARGIN CALL was about a bunch of people in a room talking about money, and this was so different and completely away from that. It made me feel like he was a guy I’d be happy to trust just as an actor.

Q. How was the physical aspect of spending all those hours on and under the water during the shoot?

A. It was very hard! I was okay in the water because I like to swim, but to be wet all the time all day long did wear me out physically. That was the toughest part of the shoot for me.

7107 International Music Festival: Too Big and Ambitious.

We are just a few weeks away from the biggest and perhaps the most ambitious concert event of the year—the 7107 International Music Festival, a two-day outdoor music festival happening in Clark, Pampanga on February 22-23, 2014. The organizers said it took them two years of preparations and negotiations to make this truly an international music festival that will promote the Philippines.

Red Hot Chili Peppers
But bringing together top international acts such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kaskade, and Kendrick Lamar was just half of the challenge, the other half is about making people believe that they can actually pull it off.

From rumors that the music festival is being financed by the son of Janet Napoles (the alleged mastermind of the pork barrel scam), allegations of poor ticket sales (with barely a month to go), to doubts about the length of performances by its main acts.

“It has been our personal mission to promote the Philippines; the islands, its talent, its culture and its music throughout the world,” shares Tina Herrera, the festival’s Executive Producer.

“We are thrilled that 7107 International Music Festival will serve as unique platform for our local artists to shine side by side with legendary performers. Through this International Music Festival, we are able to push our local talent on to the world stage and open up avenues for local artists to collaborate with international acts, further pushing their music to a global audience.” “The challenge was, will people believe in it? Do people really think we can achieve this? And my answer to that is, yes. I’ve always believe in the talent of the Filipinos,” Herrera told media in a press conference held last week. “Tickets have sold well, even before the phase 2 lineup,” shares Herrera. “We’ve had sales from Canada, USA, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Taiwan, Beijing, New Zealand and others.”

The organizers stressed that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform a “whole concert”—or approximately 90 minutes—for the festival, while Kaskade and Kendrick Lamar will be on stage for 75 minutes.

Other international acts expected to be part of the festival are Empire of the Sun, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Asteroid Galaxy. There will also be 50 other bands performing at the two day concert including local favorites Sponge Cola, Itchyworms, Up Dharma Down, Radioactive Sago Project, and Taken by Cars.
To ensure the safety of its expected crowd of more than 25,000, the Global Gateway Logistics City will have four layers of security–an event security, parking security, traffic management and internal security.

More than a concert event the  festival is not just a night of performances but a two-day outdoor music gathering  featuring a spectacular line-up of bands from around the world.

If you are not yet sold with the idea of a two-day concert, here are other reasons why 7107 IMF is the must-see concert party of the year:

It’s in Clark, Pampanga. You read that right. This festival will not be in the Metro so you won’t have to worry about the traffic, hustle and bustle going in and out of the venue. The festival will be held in Global Gateway Logistics City, a modern, state-of-the-art compound in Clark.

"We wanted enough room to play around with,” says Herrera. “With over 100 hectares of land, it is the
perfect canvas to start the 7107 International Music Festival. Because we had tourism in mind when we started this project, we wanted to take concert goers away from their usual environment and give them a chance to do a bit of travelling.”

Two days of international and local acts. Get ready to see international acts like Red Chili Peppers, Kaskade, Empire of the Sun, andKendrick Lamar, plus performances from local artists such as Up Dharma Down, Kjwan and Radioactive Sago Project. With the spectacular and diverse lineup, we are sure that we have something to satisfy anyone’s musical craving!

Experience the tastes of the world. By taste, we mean food. There will be something for all kinds of taste buds; even those of the picky ones, as the festival will also house different concessionaires from all over. It brings together foodie favorites to the country’s culinary capital. It boosts the country’s tourism. With different performances from around the globe packaged into two days, the festival will not only be attended by Filipinos but by people all over the world as well. The festival is slated to attract more than 20,000 concertgoers across Asia and Europe. It’s for a good cause. Part of the proceeds of the festival will be used to rebuild, rehabilitate, and fund relief projects for the Typhoon Yolanda victims. This is a guilt-free concert party as the proceeds will go to HelpPH and the EJ Litton Foundation.

According to Herrera, “We want 7107 International Music Festival to be a reminder to our countrymen that music moves, and help is on the way.”

Here is the 7107 International Music Festival Artist FINAL Lineup:

Pain, Pain Go Away... In 5 Minutes.

We often hear people say, “No pain, no gain” but the truth is, if we don’t do anything about the pain, the only thing we will gain is more pain.

Head and neck aching from a long day at work? You are not alone. But it doesn’t mean you have to ignore it.

According to a recent study, seven out of 10 Filipinos suffer from headaches every day, while over half have experienced muscle aches and other forms of pain in the past three months.

Pain leads to spasms, and those spasms often lead to more pain creating a vicious cycle.

But instead of taking medicine, a lot of people just try to endure, or sleep through the pain for fear of being dependent on pain killers or its side effects.

Unfortunately , pain that is left untreated becomes and chronic pain is more difficult and longer to treat. It can even develop into a learned pain or an automatic response of the body when something similar hits its system.

“We have to break the cycle by taking pain relievers that are fast-acting,” explains Dr. Lyde M. Alday-Magpantay, vice president of the Pain Society of the Philippines and diplomate of the Philippine Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Magpantay was one of the speakers during GSK’s launch of Panadol (paracetamol) with OptiZorb.

She said the modern approach to pain is for the patient to take effective pain medication such as paracetamol round the clock.

“Paracetamol can be taken for long periods of time. A maximum of eight pills daily is tolerable as pre-emptive medicine; arresting the pain before it hits the chronic sufferer,” she added.

Unlike other pain killers, Panadol can be taken on an empty stomach and works in as fast as five minutes.

I often encountered Panadol while I was still working as a medical transcriptionist a few years back. It was one of the most common medicines taken by US patients who suffer from pain. The brand, however, isn’t available locally and many Filipinos would ask their relatives in the US, Hong Kong or Singapore to buy it for them.

Panadol is one of the world’s leading paracetamol-based pain relievers and is sold in more than 85 countries. Last year alone, 15 billion (paracetamol) Panadol tablets were sold worldwide.

“Pain is one of the greatest personal, social and economic burdens faced by people around the world,” said John Sayers, President Consumer Healthcare, Asia, Pacific and Latin America, GSK.

“Panadol has helped people find pain relief across 85 countries for over 50 years and we are pleased to bring this leading paracetamol brand to Philippines’ consumers,” Sayers said during the launch.

This is a significant milestone for GSK in line with our global commitment to help people do more, feel better and live longer.”

And the Philippines wouldn’t just be getting one of the most trusted pain medicines, according to the GSK executive, the new Panadol with Optizorb is their best formulation which starts releasing the pain relieving power of paracetamol in five minutes.

“The brand is testament to our customers’ trust and faith in the product which boasts an extensive scientific research breakthrough such as the Optizorb technology in our new Panadol which is the first and only paracetamol product that contains Optizorb,” added Sayers.

Panadol with Optizorb is the only paracetamol brand with the unique Optizorb disintegration system which allows the release of its medicine in as little as five minutes vs. regular paracetamol tablets. Studies conducted by GSK have proven that 75 percent of people who take Panadol with Optizorb caplets reach pain relieving levels of paracetamol in the bloodstream significantly faster than those taking other generic pain relieving brands.

With a greater rate of absorption, (paracetamol) Panadol with Optizorb delivers therapeutic concentrations to most people suffering from a variety of pain even those with common medical conditions, such as stomach problems and heart disease.

Panadol with Optizorb also has the broad suitability associated with standard paracetamol . This means that it is well tolerated and will not irritate the stomach when used as directed.

"Following a study conducted in Philippines, we found that seven out of ten Filipinos suffer from regular headaches, and over half from muscle aches and pains in the past three months. These pain sufferers have indicated fast relief of pain is of core importance and this has encouraged us to provide a fast and effective solution like Panadol with Optizorb to alleviate this health condition,” said JeoffreyYulo, General Manager Consumer Healthcare, GSK Philippines.

Panadol is a paracetamol based analgesic and provides fast, effective temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with: headache, tension headache, period pain, cold and flu symptoms, migraine headache, muscular aches, arthritis/osteoarthritis, backache, and toothache.

Panadol also helps to reduce fever. It is also a good choice of pain reliever for people with sensitive stomachs, stomach ulcers and other stomach disorders. Panadol can also be used by breast feeding women. ents. It has immunity resistance with antibiotics. If you have a liver problem and is suspected to have to , it is best to seek a Physician for further advise.

Panadol with Optizorb will be available at all leading drugstores nationwide, starting February 2014. For more information on pain management, visit www.Panadol.com.

CHINKEE TAN TALKS ABOUT TAKING YOUR BUSINESS TO THE NEXT LEVEL

When Puregold held its first VIPuring Convention for its Gold Members last year of November 2013, financial adviser Francisco Colayco’s speech served as an eye opener for most members who are just starting out with their business. His talk focused on the importance of investing and gave tips on how to properly run your business.

For VIPuring 2, it was speaker Chinkee Tan’s turn to further inspire the members on how to take their business to the next level.

“Upgrade your business, Upgrade your Life!” Was the battle cry of the actor-turned-best-selling author who has become one of the country’s top wealth coaches. He gives financial advice on TV5’s Kumare Klub and Balitaang Tapat and his program, Chink Positive!, was named KBP 20th Golden Dove Awards’ Best Special Program awardee in 2011.

“Ano ang bago? What is new? He says is often the first thing that we, as customers, often ask whenever we visit our favorite stores.”

New things easily fascinate us he observed and that we perceive new things as something better—an upgrade to what we currently have.

But just as we upgrade our cellphones yearly, we should also think about upgrading our lives.

In order to be successful, Tan said we need to put our mind and heart into everything that you do. “Big mindset plus big action equals big result.”

“There is only one thing permanent in this world and that is CHANGE.  If you don’t innovate, you
EVAPORATE,” Tan said

He urged the audience to upgrade, invest and go premium.

He explained three things to achieve better success in business

The first is to Upgrade your frame of mind.
“To upgrade your life you have to upgrade you mindset--- read a lot of books, attend seminars, and ask experts for advice—invest in knowledge.

The second is to Upgrade your Products:  This means to go premium and offer premium products which often yield better profit margins.

The third is to Upgrade your Capital:  “It would be impossible to grow your business without adding more capital,” he said.

He noted that poverty mentality is a mindset of the poor and negativity has no place for everyone or anyone who wants to be successful.  “Impossible lumaki ang kita mo pero ang mindset mo ay maliit.”

He then used the analogy of mindset + action = result, thus
Small mindset + Small action = Small Result
Big mindset + Big action = Big Result
Positive mindset + Positive action = Positive Result and
Negative mindset + Negative action = Negative Result

On facing Fear and why we need more money,
Together with several other bloggers, I had the chance to interview with Chinkee Tan.

“Like I said the only thing permanent in this world is change, and I do believe that most of us are products of changes,” he began.

He urged us to go beyond improving our IQ, or intelligence because information is already out there, and said we need to focus more on developing our Emotional Quotient EQ, or how we relate with other people and AQ or Adversity Quotient which is pertains to our ability to respond to changes and how we adapt.

Learning how to adjust he says was crucial when he made the transition from being an actor to a motivational speaker. “Kailangan alam mo paano mag adjust. Hindi ako natatakot umulit. Hindi ako natatakot magsimula. Just  like what I tell people always, start small but think big!”

He acknowledged that fear can sometimes be the biggest obstacle to making that change: Remember when you started to ride a bike? You fall, you get wounded and you get hurt. Pero bakit hindi ka tumigil? Kasi gusto mo matuto. And that is very important. Your desire to learn, your desire to win, and your desire to succeed should be greater than your fear of failing.”

As for money being your motivation to succeed, he replied, “Find something that you love to do so that you don’t have to work for another day in your life. Do it with passion, and don’t do it just because of money . Your ultimate goal should be to win and be the best in what you do, like Michael Jordan or Manny Pacquiao. Money is only a result of a job well done.”You should learn how to grow your money,  learn how to transfer your active income into passive income. You need to have a vision and passion in everything that you do.

The reason why we have to make lots of money he says is so that we can become a blessing to others,  and share what we learned. “Iba yung feelng na kapag successful ka na, and nakakapagbigay na sa ibang tao—that is something na hindi kayang bayaran ng pera.” Poverty mentality is a mindset of the poor, negativity has no place for everyone or anyone who wants to to be successful.

Puregold VIPuring Convention part 2
After its hugely successful first run, Procter & Gamble Distributing Philippines, Inc. and Puregold brought back an event that aims to empower and elevate Pinoy entrepreneurship—the VIPuring Convention II.
This exclusive event for Puregold “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” GOLD members was also P&G and Puregold’s way of thanking retailers and entrepreneurs for their loyalty and support. The event’s highlight centered on an inspiring talk about how to level up one’s business that provided inside information on growing one’s business.

“The VIPuring Convention returned because the first one was so successful and truly made an impact on retailers and entrepreneurs. P&G and Puregold felt that it’s a good advocacy to make top store owners and entrepreneurs know how important they are not just to their immediate communities but also to the country’s economy. We will always be supportive of our partners and we will continue to equip them with the right tools and the right products that will help them grow their businesses,” Raffy Fajardo, Marketing Director of P&G Distributing, Inc., stated.

The P&G and Puregold VIPuring Convention II also presented opportunities for GOLD members to win exciting prizes and enjoy great on-the-day deals and markdowns on select P&G products.

“We plan to have this event as an integral Puregold and P&G tradition so that we can encourage them to do well and excel in their endeavors,” Fajardo said.

Besides the motivational talk another major component of the convention was the first-class, VIP broadway-themed entertainment that delighted the audience.

Ciara Sotto and Ramon Bautista hosted the VIPuring event.

Skyscanner Your Way to EasyTravel.

Now searching for the cheapest flights, the best schedule, and avoiding the peak season is made more easier with the help of Skyscanner.

All you have to do is install the app, select your destination and choose the flight you like and Skyscanner will redirect you to the airline of your choice.

Less stress and less worry and best of all the app is free!

“Think Google but for searching flights,” was how Janet Ranola, Skyscanner Philippines Manager, simply described it during the first Skyscanner Bloggers Kapihan held January 23 at the M CafĂ©.

Skyscanner, Ranola said, is a leading global travel search site providing instant online comparisons for millions of flights plus hotels and car hire. It offers price alerts on all routes to enable flights to be monitored by email.

The Skyscanner app offers widgets for Android, Live Tiles for Windows Phone and “watch” functionality for iOS, all of which allow customers to track the latest price changes on a chosen route.

Founded in 2003 by three IT professionals, Gareth Williams, Barry Smith and Bonamy Grimes, Skyscanner is the no.1 travel search website in Europe and no.3 worldwide, receiving over 50 million visits per month. The travel search site is available in 40 countries and in 30 languages.

Skyscanner also shared a few tips on choosing the best time to book your flight

The study shows that on average, 3-4 weeks in advance is the optimal time to book flights. This suggestion, however, depends on the type of flight you book or the airlines you book with. When traveling with a budget airline, prices are likely to go up as the day of the flight approaches. If traveling on long haul flights or for more than 5 hours, prices are likely to fluctuate as the flight day grows near, and this does not guarantee the best seats.

In the Philippines, we have always loved the idea of discounts and because of this, booking early has always been a trend. Below are the top outbound destinations in the Philippines alongside the number of weeks you need to book in advance for maximum saving:

• China. If you book 28 weeks in advance, you can save as much as PHP 7 000 per flight which means more money for shopping and buying souvenirs.
• Malaysia. Because Malaysia is relatively near, it can be a go-to destination for last minute getaways and short vacations, but booking close to your departure date can be quite expensive. Consider booking 31 weeks in advance so you will only have to pay 46% of the actual flight cost.
• Japan. Book a flight to the land of cherry blossoms 14 weeks in advance and you can save as much as PHP 6300. Like with Thailand, booking four tickets will make way for another friend or relative to tag along in your trip.
• Thailand. Save as much as PHP 2990 if you book 16 weeks ahead. The discount you will get from booking four tickets is enough to get you another flight for free!
• Singapore. This country is the most visited by Filipinos in 2013 according to a recent study by

Skyscanner. The best time to book flights going to Singapore is 25 weeks in advance. By booking this early, you can save as much as PHP 1600. This is almost 24% less than the average flight cost.
According to the Best Time to Book study, on average, it is best to book 20 weeks in advance regardless of where you want to go. The study also suggests that the cheapest month to travel is in February and it is most expensive in April. This is for the reason that less people travel on February because they are making way for their summer travels which usually happens in April.

Booking flights during these suggested time frames enables you access to loads of discounts and the best seats possible. If you book early, you can save almost 18% less than what you will have to pay for the average ticket price. Moreover, you can skip the stress of looking for available flights at the last minute which are most likely to be overpriced. Booking your flights early will not just give you these perks but it will also help you focus on the other aspects of your vacation such as relaxation and educating yourself, which is ultimately the point of traveling.

Skyscanner also shared four simple rules to bear in mind to get the best price:
1. Book smart: Avoiding peak season travel and flying at less popular hours of the day, can really help to lower costs.
2. Be flexible:  Costs to different destinations can vary significantly depending on the airlines operating that route and the Thai airports offering these flights. If you are planning your next trip but are open to destinations, running a search to ‘everywhere’ can help find the countries that offer the best value flights at any time.
3. Compare and contrast: Using a travel comparison site like Skyscanner allows you to compare the widest range of airlines and online travel agents, so you’ll be able to see where you can get the best deal.
4. Track prices Skyscanner’s analysis has found that keeping an eye on the flight prices a few months in advance of travel, is the best way to find a good value flight. Using a flight tracker price alert service, either by email or via the app can help monitor when prices drop on a chosen route.
