Who wants to try the Cocoon Wellness Pod?

Im getting excited just by looking at this Cocoon wellness machine. =) Just because I dont have the time to go to the gym, I might give this a try.

Metamorphosis. The process of transformation associated with an insect inside a cocoon, which later comes out as a stunning butterfly. The same transformation can happen to individuals too when they immerse themselves in the Cocoon Wellness Pod (or simply “Cocoon”), an ergonomically designed wellness machine.

Distributed by the Medical Aesthetic Division of Technolux Equipment and Supply Corporation, it combines thermal energy with an invigorating massage and aromatherapy for rejuvenation and relaxation.

Since the recent launch of Technolux’s venture into health and wellness, it has introduced new products and services to its portfolio, including this much sought after Cocoon.

The Cocoon delivers a range of benefits in health, beauty, and wellness. It is the ideal machine that will complete any gym, sports clinic, hospital, and other health, beauty, and wellness facility as it improves both the physical and mental performance, and even sleep, of those who use it. It also rids the body of excess water and toxins, aside from the slimming and relaxation effects.

The Cocoon promises an ideal and multi-function wellness experience. Designed for quality results, its cutting-edge technology operates on “dry heat treatment” system, the same experience one gets when stepping into a dry sauna; only, the Cocoon utilizes the more advanced mid- and infrared light. The dry heat from the pod accelerates heart rate; thus, fast-tracking blood circulation and speeding up metabolism—allowing the body to sweat toxins and calories off.  It also affords easy fitness, reduces cellulites and body fat, while shaping and firming up the skin.

The dry heating of the stationary body (or the so called ‘active thermal exercise’) can activate over 2 million sweat glands as the body seeks to cool itself.  This ‘easy fitness’  requires no strenuous exercise activity increases the body temperature, circulation and dilation of blood vessels. Cocoon’s patented concept of active thermal exercise is stationary, relaxing and achievable because sweating in itself triggers the natural removal of body toxins and healthy cardiovascular response.

When it comes to flexibility fitness, the Cocoon emits a range of motion exercises within the pod. It uses simultaneous heat and vibratory massage to promote flexibility and range of motion response equivalent to a regular stretching routine.

The machine is user-friendly. It has a color LCD Touch Screen display and comes as an ergonomic contour bed with a vibrating massage system. Completing the ultimate sauna experience, the Cocoon has a cooling facial fan, mood lights, and its own aromatherapy system inside the pod. It incorporates Himalayan salt crystals and jade stones which, according to ancient and modern medical practitioners all over the world, are considered as powerful healing factors with metaphysical properties to boost the immune system, heightens balance, tranquility, and overall wellness.

From a single session that lasts for 30 minutes, users will experience profound relaxation and calmed breathing, and achieve rejuvenation of mind and body.

“Most of our clients from the health and wellness industry prefer the Cocoon Wellness Pod because it is fully automated, requires no complex installation, plumbing, or configuration as it merely requires an electrical outlet,” says Norell Ortega, Vice-President of Technolux.

Furthermore, as the exclusive distributor of Cocoon, Technolux prides itself with an outstanding after-sales service for over 43 years.

(The Cocoon Wellness Pod is available at the Medical-Aesthetic showroom, located at the 5th floor of Technolux’s headquarters at 2176, Primo Rivera Street, La Paz, Makati City.

BRIA Homes has won the hearts of Filipino families

Nowadays, every family wants to have a house of their own, that is affordable and easy on the budget.

With over 50 mass-housing projects being developed in some of the Philippines’ most progressive towns and cities, BRIA Homes is now depicted as the property industry’s fastest-rising star. This is because a singular goal drives the company to unprecedented success: to help and serve ordinary Filipinos.

Call BRIA Homes the property developer whose heart is in the right place.

Studies have shown that the problem that continues to prevail in the rea lestate industry today is the lack of mass-housing developments. Legions of Filipinos still rent tiny dwellings in congested districts in the city, constantly exposed to pollution, floods, and unhealthy environments because these are all they can afford.

For some time now, however, BRIA Homes has been striving to address this situation by building high-quality modern but affordable homes in safe and secure communities, where the average Filipino workers can raise healthy families.

BRIA Homes, in fact, has successfully anchored its property development principles in a simple formula:

Affordability (Mura) + Superior Quality(Dekalidad) = a beautiful BRIA Home for Every Filipino.

By ensuring that future homeowners can purchase a BRIA condominium unit or a house and lot package at affordable rates—some for as low as Php 1,897per month—and through flexible payment schemes such as PAG-IBIG and bank financing, BRIA has won the hearts of Filipino families.

Aside from this winning formula, BRIA also takes pride in the variety of spaces and sizes that its units—condominium and house and lot packages alike—offer, all designed to suit the evolving needs of Filipino individuals and families.

All BRIA communities are mindful of their residents’ holistic well-being. Thus, healthy eco-friendly spaces are complemented by recreational amenities such as basketball courts. Safety and security are ensured by guarded entrances and perimeter fences.Homeowners also get good service from courteous and highly competent administrative and maintenance personnel.

BRIA Homes’ rapid rise to its star status is evident in the presence of BRIA communities in progressive towns and cities in the Philippines. In Luzon, there are BRIA developments in Bataan, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Camarines Sur. In the Visayas, BRIA has made homes accessible in Samar, Leyte, and Negros Oriental.

Lastly, in Mindanao, BRIA has built projects in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, South Cotabato, and North Cotabato.

Developments in these areas share a key feature: strategic location. All BRIA communities are set within convenient access to schools, churches, hospitals, business districts, retail shops, and major roads as BRIA treads on this path to ultimate goals, it sustains the vision it has had from the very start: to provide easy-on-the-pocket homes forFilipinos all over the country.

BRIA Homes is a subsidiary of GOLDEN BRIA Holdings, Inc., considered thethird largest real estate company in terms of market capitalization valued at more than P200B. The fastest-growing mass housing developer in the Philippines, BRIA Homes is primed to bring affordable house-and-lot packages and condominium units closer to ordinary Filipino families. This is the goal that drives every single employee in the company, for which the ultimate fulfillment is seeing a client happily moving into Bria’shomes.

Hada Labo - Japan's No.1 Facial Lotion is now available in the PH

I learned about Hada Labo Hydrating Facial Lotion 4 years ago when I was shopping for skincare in Hongkong. The crowd (most of them tourists like me) went wild because it was 20% off sale. Everyone hoarded all the Hada Labo facial lotion and other products. Before I knew it, I grabbed the only bottle that was left in the rack. I was wondering then, what was the fuzz?. In my mind, this product should be that good to be hoarded and lined up.

Back to my hotel, I tested it after taking my shower. I have a combination skin. My T-zone is oily and the rest of the face is dry. The facial lotion is clear like water, odorless and has no alcohol.  It was just like any other toners but this one keeps moisture at bay. It is never drying and its good to partner with any foundation. It never breaks me out. It cleans and refreshes skin.

Since then, I have been using and  buying this at a Japanese Store in Robinsons Manila where it was available.  The only physical store that carried the brand.

When my supplies ran out, I went back to the mall only to find out that it closed store already.  So I tried online,  it was never cheap buying this online because of tax and shipping fee. Thats why I was happy to know that my HG facial toner is now available here in the Philippines. Its so affordable that before you buy the large size you may opt to try the 30ml variant first.

Last August 6,  Hada Labo was finally launched in Manila at the Blue Leaf, Taguig. The event was graced by Hada Labo executives and media.

Here are the Hada Labo Pricelist, now available in any Watsons stores nationwide.

Bring your own bottle and refill your favorite condiments at discounted prices

NutriAsia, the home of well-loved Pinoy brands like Datu Puti, UFC, GoldenFiesta and Locally, has been the partner of Filipino homes in levelling up their meal times for years.

As a brand committed to making Masarap Masaya moments for its consumers, it aims not just to bring joy to Filipino homes, but to assume responsibility on a much larger scale through timely efforts that will benefit the environment during these increasingly critical times.

Since 2014, NutriAsia has been taking part in the movement towards a zero-waste community through projects like Jumbohalang Tambalan and participation in DENR-EMB’s Refill Revolution.

This year, NutriAsia carries on with its vision of a more
environmentally sustainable world through a project called Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB), which encourages users to bring their own reusable bottles and refill their favorite condiments and products like Datu Puti Vinegar, Datu Puti Soy Sauce, UFC Banana Catsup, and Golden Fiesta Cooking Oil.

This simple act is expected to raise awareness on responsible plastic use and help build a zero-waste community as a stepping stone to sustainability.

Through the support of the Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation and The Mind Museum, shoppers can visit and experience the first BYOB refilling station located in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

To participate, consumers have to bring their own clean and dry reusable bottles and have these refilled with their chosen products at discounted prices.

BYOB’s store is made from eco-bricks that use plastic discards as a component, and which come from the Arca South Eco Hub, a project of Arca South, Green Antz and Ayala Land Inc. The store will also serve as a drop-off point for plastic materials for repurposing.

“NutriAsia has been a trusted partner of every Filipino home in making Masarap Masaya meals. And with BYOB, we hope to go beyond and create more Masarap Masaya moments by encouraging shoppers to help build a zero-waste community in their own ways. We are also happy to share that all proceeds from BYOB, along with the plastic materials donated, will be used to produce upcycled furnishings for our beneficiary, GAT Andres Bonifacio HighSchool,” said James Lim, NutriAsia’s Corporate Marketing and Communications Head.

BYOB, launched last July 30 and set to run until September 12, will be open Mondays through Sundays, 12 NN to 8PM, at The Mind Museum in BGC.
