Hygiene kits were also provided to over 800 people during another disaster relief operation. Then, UNIQLO handed 5,500 AIRism items to communities affected by Super Typhoon Uwan and Typhoon Tino in Cebu, Bacolod, and Aurora. The brand also ensured care and support for the over 300 affected Cebu-based UNIQLO employees, extending aid to their families as well. UNIQLO also donated Php 3,000,000 in cash to the SM Foundation, allocated for essential resources for communities affected by disasters, including family hygiene kits and clean drinking water. The funds were used for school repair purposes as well.
