ASUS partners with Rajo Laurel on the New ZenBook 3 Deluxe (UX490)





ASUS collaborates with Fashion Designer Rajo Laurel in a gender bender fashion show "Transcendence: Breaking Barriers, Beyond Limits,” held recently at Shangri-la The Fort on March 15. Visit Diana Stalder for that youthful glowing skin




Almost everyone wants to have that glowing smooth  and near perfect skin.  With so many products and procedures available out there, we are all in search that one "Holy Grail" of skin care. It took me a decade and a half of testing and trying out different products on my face. Glad that I have found my holy grail 6 years ago. It is not cheap but its an investment that is soo worth it.

I'm just happy that I found the right product line at the right time for that supple, smooth and wrinkle free skin--But that doesnt mean I've stopped searching for a reliable and affordable substitute.

The search for new ways to incorporate simple, time-saving tricks into our daily beauty routine is endless in my case.



For my maintenance, I always visit my Dermatologist on a monthly basis. But if she's not available I have a reputable derm clinic that I can visit anytime of the day. I would always opt for an anti aging facial with power peel.  The process of Power Peel involves the use of micro-crystals, known as ultra-fine corundum oxide crystals, which polish skin when they are vacuumed through a hand piece. It made my pores less visible, smooth and glowing for the rest of the week. I wish that it would stay that way permanently.

I would like to try thermage and Im saving up for it. I heard positive reviews with the procedure. In the meantime I am piling up on Korean pre-cut face eye masks and Vitamin C infused masks, those that are available in Watsons



When an invite arrived a week ago for a spa party from  Diana Stalder, on March 11 at Mega Mall branch. ( I said yes right away. I have been buying products from Diana Stalder's Dermaline  back when I was working at a hospital near UST.  I thought Dermaline closed down but glad to know that they are still in operation up to this day.)

Since Id like to avail the facial/treatment ahead of time or to be included in the first batch. I got up early at 830am, prepped up for an hour, I only applied sunscreen and pat a blotpowder to my face to conceal the oiliness. I arrived at the clinic 10:20am and lucky enough to be included in the first batch. Ms. Dina Stalder welcomed everyone with a healthy juice drinks and a fruit platter. She introduced herself and her clinic's most requested facials, toners, bestsellers and the new facial procedure Casmara facial with RGnerin treatment. It is one aesthetic service of Diana Stalder that I have tried during the SPa Party.


I was lucky to be in the first 6 who tried the Casmara facial with Rgenerin Treatment 
It was a step by step procedure  which underwent the process of cleansing , exfoliation, steamed and desincrustation to facilitate deep pore cleansing. During this process, galvanic current is used to create a chemical reaction that softens and relaxes sebum and dirt in the follicles for extraction. It’s ideal for oily and breakout-prone skin. As for added benefit, this treatment brings nutrients and oxygen to nourish the skin and it also improves the color of sallow, sluggish skin.

The last procedure is the application of Rgenerin mask. I love that it has the cooling and tightening effect.  The mask according to Ms. Dina Stalder,  contains linseed (organically grown), with soothing, emollient and softening properties; and Aloe Vera (organically grown) for soothing, toning and regenerating action.

Ryan Agoncillo bags the 2017 Readers Digest Trusted Brands Awards Most Trusted TV Presenter



TV host Ryan Agoncillo adds another distinction to his name after being voted as the Most Trusted TV Presenter at the recently concluded 2017 Readers Digest Trusted Brands Awards held.

He joins a very elite group of personalities composed of Jessica Soho, Mike Enriquez, Vic Sotto, Toni Gonzaga and Manny Pacquiao who have received the Trusted Personality Award in the Philippines.




It was the seventh consecutive year for Soho, the second for Enriquez and the first for Agoncillo who said it was the most special recognition he has received in his career.

“This has to be the most special (award) to date, because Miss Jessica, and Sir Mike were my bosses when I was still in public affairs. I think I was just 19 or 20 back then and I really look up to them,” Agoncillo told THE STANDARD in an interview after receiving the award.

 “The fact that it was from Readers Digest, a magazine I grew up reading, and to be able to share the stage with my former mentors, it really means a lot. It’s not just an award that takes into account what you have accomplished on TV, but more importantly because it means you were voted by the readers because they TRUST you,” he added.
