With Project Pie, the possibilities are endless



Everyone loves a big slice of pizza.  What's there not to love about the cheesy melt in your mouth goodness crunchy crust with all your favorite toppings on. Yummy!

Project Pie Pizza  opens its 9th store to the public on June 14 at W City Center BGC.  We were the first ones to customize our own pizza and salad. It was fun choosing and experimenting among the 32 toppings available.





At Project Pie, you have the power to make your pizza anything you want it to be. If you're a vegetarian,  just ask for no pepperoni and sausage. You can also opt for a tuna toppings for a healthier option with bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and cilantro. If you are experimental, you can pile on as many toppings as you can.  Play up with flavors which depends on your craving. You can choose from any of their 32 toppings. The possibilities are endless.

Plus, you can also customize your own pasta and salad or choose from their signature flavors. My personal favorite from their salad offerings is the The James Project Salad with mixed greens, candied walnuts,grilled chicken, dried cranberries and feta cheese drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette. Yummy and healthy!




Founder James Markham was sick and tired of pizza that is dipped, dumped and stuffed beyond recognition that he created something real and better, fast and no frills in artisan style pizza. And in taking fast casual, guest engagement, consumer empowerment concept to life, James together with his partners launched in the United States Pieology and later on MOD but soon after success came and the concept diluted, James decided create his own in Project Pie. The brand opened its first store at MGM Grand Las Vegas and shortly after opened the doors to other branches in the US.


Seeing the potential of Project Pie, Mr. Leo Prieto Jr. then Chairman of International Family Food Services, Inc. (IFFSI) spoke to James and soon after, shook hands to bring the concept in the Philippines. Mr. Prieto, together with CEO Vic L. Gregorio set up DBE Project, Inc. (January 2013) the company that brought to life Project Pie in the Philippines (it’s first store opened in July 31, 2013), the first country to have the brand outside the United States.  In 2016, the company changed management hands and is now headed by Mr. Chris Po, as Chairman of DBE Project Inc. and Mr. Vic Gregorio remains to be President.

Ed Sheeran tops the first-ever Billboard Philippines Hot 100, while local singer Inigo Pascual leads the Billboard Philippine Top 20.



Billboard Philippines (“BillboardPH”) recently premiered (June 12) the country’s first rankings reflecting local music consumption.

Using localized on-demand streaming data from global services Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube, plus download track sales from iTunes, BillboardPH’s new charts provide the most accurate representation of music popularity in the Philippines.



Leading BillboardPH’s chart offerings is the BillboardPH Hot 100, which ranks the top songs by both local and foreign acts. The Billboard Philippine Top 20, meanwhile, will contain only Filipino artists, and the Billboard PH Catalog Chart will list songs by Filipino acts that are older than three years, but still being actively streamed.

Ed Sheeran commands the No. 1 spot on the BillboardPH Hot 100 with “Shape of You,” while Bruno Mars and The Chainsmokers each place a pair of tracks each in the top 10.  Also occupying spaces in the Hot 100 top 10 are DJ Khaled's “I’m the One," featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil Wayne, at No. 3, and the current Billboard Hot 100 U.S. No. 1 hit “Despacito,” by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber, at No. 5.

The Billboard Philippine 20 is led by Inigo Pascual’s “Dahil Sa’Yo,” with singer/actress Jona holding down two spots in the top 10, at Nos. 3 and 4, with “Pusong Ligaw” and "Maghihintay Ako,” respectively. Also faring well on the local list is rock/fusion band Sud, which stands at No. 2 with “Sila.”



Billboard PH, launched in September 2016, has quickly become the premier source of music coverage in Philippines. The addition of local charts to a menu already including the U.S.-based Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200, among others, further emphasizes the site as the go-to place for Filipino music fans.  The Billboard PH charts refresh each Monday morning local time.

Jollibee supports Sarah Geronimo's Dial #87000 Facebook Live performance


Jollibee celebrates Sarah Geronimo's #8700 Facebook Live Performance on June 22 at 55 Events Place, Quezon City. The event was hosted by Gelli Victor and attended by Sarah's popsters and media.

It was a multi-platform performance from Sarah Geronimo and Jollibee, as the fan-favorites hosted an unforgettable event worthy of its own hashtag



The trendsetting duo invited fans to a-no-holds barred gathering that gave attendees the chance to learn the hottest moves from the #87000 TVC from Pop Star Royalty herself, Sarah Geronimo.

Jollibee expanded the full production of the commercial for its nationwide express delivery hotline with a Facebook live broadcast that offers unlimited access to the line-up of activities happening inside 55 Events Place, Quezon City.


Fans who tuned in were able to catch Sarah G. having fun with her loyal Popsters, and even peek into her personal Jollibee favorites and next career moments. The audiences at home also got to participate through their screens, suggesting the next challenges for the celebrity and urging her on with their comments and reactions on social media.

The sets of audiences waited as the fastfood chain’s delivery staff walked up to the Sarah to handover the bags of langhap-sarap treats to the star of the commercial.

Joy filled the room as the charming star received her order and welcomed the delivery crew with bags of Jollibee on hand for the audience.

Acer PH partners with G-Shock for a #TimeForUs campaign



Acer Philippines launches the #TimeForUs campaign in partnership with G-Shock on June 20 at Yes Please Bar in BGC. The event was attended by Basti Artadi of Wolfgang rock band, Juan Miguel Severo, Acer and Casio executives,  and media.




Yes Please bar was transformed into a nostalgic wonderland of the 80s and 90s but peppered with today's technology, symbolic of the event's cause. An overall aesthetic that brought out the best from both eras. Just in time for the launch of
 #TimeForUs, which aims to unite Gen Xers and millenials.

Acer Philippines moves to bring two generations closer through technology, breaking down barriers built on misconceptions and misunderstandings.

Basti Artadi, vocalist of the award-winning rock band Wolfgang, rose to fame in the midto late-90s, making him a legend among those from Gen X.



Meanwhile, Juan Miguel Severo popularized the art of spoken word poetry when “Ito Na Ang Huling Tula Na lsusulat Ko Para Sa'yo”, his original piece, made rounds on social media, making it viral among the millennials. The piece cemented the admiration of spoken word poetry as an art form, and since then, Juan Miguel Severo has become the face of the craft.
