Ionair Purifier: Helps you breathe clean air wherever you go

Even before the pandemic, I always have a sanitizer and wet wipes ready inside my bag wherever I go.  My friends even tease me for being super OC, but I guess its become a habit of mine to spray alcohol whenever I hold a door handle, touch those atm keypads, or even after exchanging money.

Maybe its because I've worked in a hospital for a long time that I know how important it is to make sure that the surfaces I touch are clean-- I'll spray the elevator keypads, the chair where I am sitting inside the doctor's office when waiting for my name to be called. I've actually become paranoid that  I only use my own ballpen. Because who knows if the people that touched those before you are sick.  Those things  are ticking bombs  ready to infect everyone with some virus.

I lost count spraying my hands with alcohol,  even if they've become dry and itchy.

So when COVID-19 came I became even extra careful about  touching everything. We never went out during the ECQ except to buy food and I've never rode a public transpo since the pandemic, and I dont think I ever will unless there's a cure or vaccine.  I've even become more particular about the face masks I'm wearing, and when I do use a cloth mask I make sure to tuck in a surgical mask beneath it.

And when I saw people posting about one of those air purifier's around their necks, I  started researching about its benefits and came across the  Ionair Purifier.

It was a friend who actually suggested IonAir to me and explained why she got one as well.

IonAir is a necklace air purifier & negative ion generator. It weighs only 26g so its very light to wear everywhere and have clean air wherever you go.

If you dont want to use it as a necklace, you can also just place it on your work table or bedside when you are sleeping. You can attach it on baby strollers or side bags. Hang around your pets' tags.

HOW IONAIR WORKS:

When IonAir starts emitting negative ions, it will constantly remove the pollutants away from the breathing zone. it's an anion, and the anion that's released is going to combine with the dust in the air, and it's going to release 5 million per centimeter cubed. When the indication light turns green in the device, it means it's
cleaning the air and purifies many harmful substances in the air.

PRODUCT BENEFITS:
  • Kills viruses and bacteria
  • Increases immunity
  • Improves breathing
  • Reduces stress
  • Lowers Blood pressure
  • Regulates sleep patterns and mood

I've been using IonAir for about a week now. I hanged it in my bed frame and I slept 8 hours straight. I woke up each morning feeling revitalized. I used it everyday when I am doing my 30 minutes exercise. It helps me energized.

Its available for only P2499.

Cebu Pacific starts Seoul, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo and Osaka flights

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, gradually rebuilds its international flight network with the restart of flights between Manila and key Asian destinations in August. This is on top of its once-a-week flights between Manila and Dubai which re-started in mid-July.

Beginning August 1, 2020, CEB will be flying twice weekly from Tokyo (Narita) to Manila (Wednesday and Saturday). On August 6, CEB will be flying two times weekly (Thursday and Saturday) between Manila and Singapore; and every Thursday from Seoul (Incheon) to Manila.

Twice weekly flights (Wednesday and Friday) between Taipei and Manila are scheduled to begin on August 7. One-way flights to Manila from Osaka (Kansai) are also scheduled to begin on August 7.

“We are taking a conservative and agile approach to rebuilding our international network. While demand remains soft, there is latent demand for travel, particularly from stranded individuals and those who are eager to come home to visit their families,” said Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing and Customer Experience of Cebu Pacific.

Travel regulations issued by the governments of the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan will be implemented as necessary. These include a requirement to secure a negative RT-PCR test prior to departure, mandatory COVID screening or tests and a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival.

“We have taken extra precautions and assure travelers that preventive measures are in place so we can start rebuilding the trust and confidence in air travel,” Iyog added.

CEB has intensified preventive measures across its operations, in accordance with global safety standards. Aligned with the rest of the aviation industry, travelers can expect layers of bio-security measures that begin at the point of checking-in for a flight online. Contactless flight procedures are implemented using scanners and physical distancing, to minimize physical contact of passengers among each other and with personnel.

From ground facilities to aircraft, CEB has a cleaning and disinfection protocol in place. All CEB aircraft undergo extensive daily disinfection before, during and after flights. Jet aircraft are equipped with High Efficiency Particular Arrestor (HEPA) filters similar to those in hospital operating rooms. These trap all contaminants in the air, including the Novel Coronavirus, with 99.99% efficiency.

CEB has also adjusted its policies—allowing for increased flexibility and added peace of mind given the developing situation for air travel. These options include unlimited rebooking and extension of the Travel Fund validity to two years. For passengers with cancelled flights, or those who want to voluntarily alter travel plans, they may manage their bookings through the “Manage Booking” portal in the Cebu Pacific website (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight).

Sharing pleasant meals with the family is more important than many people realize, so make every one count

Sharing meals with the whole family are moments that shouldn’t be overlooked. Many times family members are just too busy to sit down together for a meal, so it’s important to grab every opportunity to bond, catch up on each other’s days, and spend time as a family.

Making time to have memorable meals can be very healthy for families. To achieve this, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  1. It is efficient to plan ahead
Planning meals ahead of time, even just a week in advance, is way less stressful than having to think of today’s menu on the spot. This also gives a chance for every family member to suggest meals they want to eat for a specific day or what they want to try out.

One of Samsung Digital Appliances’ latest innovations, the Family Hub, can help out with this and enrich family life. The Family Hub™ is Samsung Digital Appliances' first Smart Refrigerator that provides apps that are beneficial to households and gives families a better dining experience.

The Family Board app helps members of the family share their calendar with each other and easily keep track of where everyone is at certain times. This app allows families to determine which day of the week everyone is available to have dinner together. Sharing notes from anywhere is also made possible with this Family Hub app, perfect for last minute reminders that need to be seen by the family right away.

  1. Don’t be afraid to get creative
Give the family a chance to expand their taste and discover new dishes by experimenting with recipes. Trying out new food together as a family also makes for a very memorable experience for everyone.

The Family Hub has a Recipe and Meal Planner feature that uses AI and food profiling based on the ingredients that are already available in the refrigerator to suggest easy recipes with very simple instructions that even the kids can join in.

Keep track of the ingredients easily for the new recipes by using Family Hub’s Shopping List. This feature allows the creation and sharing of shopping lists for the next grocery run. With the View Inside Feature, forgetting what's already in stock at home will no longer be a problem. With three built-in cameras, it is possible to remotely check what’s inside the refrigerator using only a smartphone. This app also helps tag expiration dates which keeps the kitchen in order.

  1. Enjoy the preparations as well
Having better family meals can start with the preparations in the kitchen too, not just at the table. Involving family members in preparing meals gives everyone more time to spend with each other and get to know each other in a new setting. Enjoying the preparations along with the meal itself as a family makes for a fun bonding experience for everyone.

With the Family Hub’s Smart View feature, surf the net and watch recipe videos for easy reference when cooking meals. This feature also allows one to listen to music and mirror the contents of a smartphone or Smart TV. Being able to do all these straight from the Family Hub™ comes in handy when family members are bonding in the kitchen.

Sharing pleasant meals with the family is more important than many people realize, so make every one count.
