"Your skin is a really great indicator of what's going on inside your body".
Sami Blackford

You are what you eat, what you put into your body. It will show to your face. Learn how to take care of yourself, by watching your diet. Eat your vegetables and fruits. Eat carbo in moderation. When you abstain from food heavy with fats and oils. Your skin will clear up and will keep the wrinkles at bay. Visit your dermatologist and have a regular facials as much as possible.

That is how I am serious about skin care. I know, I spend too much on anti-aging moisturizers, serums and toners. I just wanted to stop or delay the time.  I guess the secret to staying young is to watch your diet, exercise if there is time, be happy and always take good care of your skin by having a regular facials and dont forget to wear your sunblock when you are  out in the sun.  Always hydrate and drink 8 glasses of water.

Diana Stalder recently launches “Diana Stalder’s Anti-Aging Kit last Sept 14 at Diana Stalder clinic in SM Megamall branch.  The kit includes (COLLAGEN SOAP, DUAL ACTION TONER, SKIN REVITALIZER, BB CREAM) this kit is specially formulated to reduce the signs of aging, it keeps the skin hydrated to maintain its suppleness and delay wrinkle formation.”

They also launched their Dermalift facial. I volunteered for a demo and love the initial result. It has electric currents from 1-5 to correct your facial structure.  It is meant to lift your sagging jowls, cheeks and eyebrows for a younger looking you. They told that in order to get fast results. You should have the anti-aging facial every 4 days for 3 weeks.

Aging is a process that almost every person fears. Changes in the skin inevitably happen as years pass. Gravity causes skin to droop downwards due to its continuous pull on our bodies and facial skin. Also, exposure to UV light or Ultraviolet radiation, breaks down our skin’s connective tissue which speeds the natural aging process and becomes the primary cause of early wrinkling. For better knowledge of ageing skin, we have to watch out for the following signs:

1. Dryness
2. Lines and wrinkles
3. Thinning of the skin
4. Sagging
5. Appearance of age spots

Knowing all these signs, we can somehow delay the process of aging by taking special care of our skin.

There are 8 ways to reduce premature skin aging:
1. Eat a healthy and well-balanced diet
2. Protect your skin from the sun
3. Drink less alcohol
4. Exercise often
5. Good skin care
6. Plenty of sleep
7. Avoid high amounts of stress
8. Avoid smoking

Let it also be known that collagen plays an important role in maintaining a youthful skin. These are normally present in abundance together with elastin when we are young, but start to diminish as we reach the age of 35. Collagen and elastin becomes disconnected resulting in the sagging of skin.
