More Life Dishes at Chili's

I have been eyeing Chilis whenever I dropped by Megamall, I like the place it has a cool young vibe to it, i love the red tiled tables. The whole interiors, actually.  I never had time to dine until last year of December. Some friends from work decided for Chilis, and the rest was history. My favorite from among their appetizers is the Triple Dipper, it is a satisfying combination of 3 delicious  appetizers of buffalo wings, chicken crispers, over buffalo and southwestern eggrolls with sauces for dipping. The trio compliments each other with the best dip sauces and carrot sticks. The buffalo wings is the juiciest out there.

 I was just thrilled when Chilis introduces their new dishes last July 9, 2014,  For the new drink, I ordered for the Sparkling Soda its a mix of strawberry puree and soda. I liked it best with more ice,  the strawberry overpowers the soda which is a good thing for me. I want my drink to be fruity.

Fried Quesadilla Bites (php375)

Fried Quesadilla Bites, golden flour tortilla nibblers stuffed with Southwest chicken and cheese, sprinkled with chopped cilantro and served with chipotle sour cream. If you are craving for some chili goodness, you should order this,  the dip sauce is hot and spicy to go with your main entree. I love the soft, chewy, texture of  quesadilla that goes better with the dip.

Chili’s Bacon and Cheddar Steak (php875)

Those craving for steak should order their Bacon and Cheddar Steak, it is an all-meat succulent steak  topped with bacon and melted cheddar cheese, with a generous amount of mashed potato and veggies (brocolli and carrots) on the side. The steak is medium well, if you want it to be well done, tell your waiter prior to ordering.

Parmesan Chicken or Tilapia
These two are the best dishes I had for the day. First was the  Parmesan Tilapia, the tilapia is locally sourced, the fillet is crunchy outside with Parmesan and Monterey Jack cheese sealing the meat. It is drizzled with chili butter and a tad bit of spring onions. It is best with cilantro rice. The Parmesan Chicken tastes great just the same, I ordered one extra cilantro rice for the chicken.

All three dishes come with a choice of two sides, so you can have “Chili’s your way.” Pick the perfect match to your meal from homestyle fries, corn-on-the-cob, Chili’s cilantro rice and fresh veggies to the staple steamed white rice, mashed potatoes and broccoli spears.

Banana Bread Pudding (php295)

 The best part of the day comes with this dessert!  The new Banana Bread Pudding, topped with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, chopped walnuts and caramel drizzle is divine. It was sweet and addicting, let the vanilla seep in the pudding then bite. It is perfect to cap off with a meal.

Let's drink to Chili's Rita Trio, get to choose from Pomegranate Margarita (a mix of 1800 Tequila, Absolut Citron with pomegranate syrup), Tropical Sunrise (made with 1800 Tequila, Melon Liqueur, pineapple juice, sweet and sour and a splash of grenadine), Blue Pacific Margarita (1800 Tequila, Cointreau and Blue Curacao), El Nino Margarita (1800 Tequila, Cointreau Orange Liquer, and fresh orange juice), and Chambord 1800 Margarita (1800 Tequila, Cointreau Orange Liquer and Chambord.
