Ready your bayong and ecobags this Friday, October 16, 2020 and head straight to Market! Market! to enjoy safe shopping for the freshest produce and regional food favorites at the Ayala Malls’ BuyANI, A Sustainable Farmer’s Market. The farmer’s fair will be at the Market! Market! Activity Center until October 18, 2020.
The BuyANI Fresh Produce Market is a collaboration between the Department of Agriculture, Ayala Foundation, and the Restaurant Owners Association of the Philippines. This collaborative effort aims to support local farmers and rebuild their respective livelihoods by bringing organic vegetables and fruits, fresh dairy products, herbs, and other locally cultivated items closer to the urban community through Ayala Malls and sell at reasonable prices.
“The community is our own hero. This brings us back to the days of bayanihan when Filipinos look out for each other and support each other. This is our way of supporting local farmers during these challenging times. Be a hero. Buy our farmers’ harvest. Be a BuyANI,” said Sherlene Cruz, Market! Market! General Manager.
For everyone’s safety, Market! Market! reminds all shoppers to observe physical distancing and follow recommended health protocols such as wearing face masks and face shields.
