To spark imagination and creative abilities, visual or written prompts can now be used to co-create AI images and texts on the device with Cocreator[2,3]. Auto Super Resolution[2] automatically upscales graphics resolution and frame refresh rates of games in real-time to deliver the visuals players crave without taking a hit on performance. realme Mobile Legends Cup Season 8 Returns!


RMC Season 8 on-ground qualifiers begin on May 25 at SM North Edsa Annex Event Center Known as the biggest and longest amateur Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament in the country made possible by a smartphone brand, the realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) is back for its 8th season to continue its legacy of making legends.

 Registration is now open to teams interested in joining the national esports arena and proving their mobile gaming supremacy. To recap, realme closed Season 7 with an epic prize pool worth one million pesos. Z4 Esports Pegaxy and Smart Omega Empress were hailed as champions in their respective divisions. 

In contrast, Smart Omega Empress made history as the first-ever champion of the RMC’s inaugural Women’s League. realme further raised the stakes last season by becoming an official partner of the Philippine Esports Organization (PESO). As a partner tournament, the winning team joined the qualifiers for the International Esports Federation World’s Esports Championship in Romania. 

Driven by the pledge to continue providing a platform for elite gamers, the tournament is now open to all-male, all-female, or mixed-gender teams to shine with Season 8 of the RMC. This new edition promises to enter mythic proportions, with a partnership with SM Cyberzone Challenger Series 2024 to commence the season officially.

RMC Season 8 will begin with the on-ground qualifiers on May 25, 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the SM North Edsa Annex Event Center. Teams must fight to the top and secure their spot for the quarter-finals bracket in June. Drop by for some fun booth activities, and don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet and greet Top MLBB Player John “H2WO” Salonga.

To qualify, teams must have five players who are 15 years old or older. During registration, all minors must provide written consent from their guardians. Additionally, all player teams qualified for the playoffs must adhere to the basic dress code of a shirt or jersey, pants, and closed shoes. Sleeveless tops, shorts, and slippers are strictly not allowed on stage. DOLE MIMAROPA and Palawan Group: Empowering Unbanked Beneficiaries Across the Region


The historic partnership ensures that the beneficiaries under the various programs of the Department of Labor and Employment will get the funds that they need hassle-free, secure, and on time.

As part of its commitment to making digital financial services available to all sectors, especially the marginalized and vulnerable, the Palawan Group of Companies has partnered with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) MIMAROPA Region.


Palawan’s partnership with DOLE MIMAROPA has significantly improved and simplified the department’s disbursement processes for releasing stipends and salaries to the many beneficiaries of its various programs, such as Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD), the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), and the Government Internship Program (GIP).

This eliminates the need for long waits to claim their funds.

Rosemarie Hupanda, the chief of the Internal Management and Services Division of the DOLE MIMAROPA Region, sees the partnership as an efficient way of keeping their beneficiaries’ funds safe and secure. TNT won the Best Branding Campaign gold award


TNT, the value brand of mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has won the Best Branding Campaign gold award for its TNT Petmaloop Challenge in the first-ever TikTok Ad Awards Philippines.

 

“The TNT Petmaloop Challenge bested over 150 submissions from various consumer brands to win gold in the Best Branding Campaign category,” said Paolo David, Country Head for Brand Growth and Partnerships at TikTok, who earlier said that the awards aim to “recognize brands for their remarkable endeavors in crafting entertaining campaigns that resonate with communities, inspiring them to take meaningful action."


Launched in October 2023, the TNT Petmaloop Challenge urged content creators nationwide to feature interesting highlights about their communities and regions that give them ‘saya’ or joy and upload them on TikTok. As part of the challenge, the participants could only use one TNT-powered smartphone, which they passed from one user to another in a relay.

 

The brand took everything to a whole new level by enabling the participants to livestream their journey from Bulacan to Manila on the video-sharing app without interruption, a feat that successfully set the Guinness World Record for the Longest Travel Livestream for a total of 26 hours, 15 minutes, and 29 seconds.

Former Watsons Employees Dedicate Days Off to Community Service


It takes a village to mount a Watsons Alagang Pangkalusugan medical mission. There are volunteer doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel. Watsons also invites supplier partners to donate medicines and medical supplies and witness the work being done in the communities. Then there are the Watsons employee volunteers who use their days off to give back instead of resting and spending time with their families. 


A number of these Watsons volunteers are mothers. Patience and leadership skills are traits that many good volunteers have and if there is one person who has these traits and more, it’s a mother. 





For Watsons moms who volunteer for Alagang Pangkalusugan medical missions, volunteerism is a commitment. Since 2013, Alagang Pangkalusugan has benefited over 6,500 Filipinos. Watsons is very proud to be a partner of Filipino families in their journey to good health.


Editha “Meg” Aguila has been a Watsons employee for eight years. She started volunteering for a medical mission last year.


“It is my 2nd year this year in Watsons with MNDC Metro Naga Development Council but in my store, we already conducted simple community services to the elderly way back in 2017.  We would share our time and help provide the elderly with essential needs and also gave them food from our Christmas caroling fund,” said Aguila, a Watsons store manager and mother of three.


One of Aguila’s most memorable experiences as a volunteer was when the medical mission went to her hometown of Libmanan. But for Aguila, it’s even more special and poignant when they work with children.


“I am a mother too, I felt the same pain and anxiety of the mother's patient. I will lead them to the attending doctor and if ever they need my advice on how to interpret the prescription, I will help them so they may be guided correctly.” 


Eden Valenzuela, a Watsons employee for over 13 years now and a pharmacy manager, also considers it a privilege to be working with children. 


“I am sad that because of poverty,  they cannot have regular check-ups for their kids. Their kids are malnourished. I always tell them to take care of their children and give them proper care. I also remind them about giving the kids healthy food and vitamins,” said the mother of three.


Joan Pacio, a pharmacy manager who has been with Watsons for 21 years, said her civic duty and faith in the common good are what motivate her to volunteer.


“Helping other people is a life fulfilling duty. It is also fulfilling to help meet the health needs of the less privileged especially in far-flung barangays,” said the mother of two.


For Meg Aguila, her motivation is to help others and make an impact on the lives of the beneficiaries.


Eden Valenzuela said she is happy to see the happy faces of people when they have free check-ups and medication.


“We have been seeing a rise in employee participation in support of  Alagang Pangkalusugan in each area as more and more patients benefit from this initiative. We’re very happy that our employees are taking part in this,” said Sharon Decapia, Watsons Senior AVP for Marketing, PR & Sustainability

AirAsia Philippines welcomes new batch of Air Force Reservists

 

A new set of nine Allstars was officially inducted as reservists of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) after completing the Basic Citizen Military Training. This marks the 5th batch of AirAsia Philippines personnel to finish the program, solidifying the partnership with the PAF and commitment to supporting community service. AirAsia has been affiliated with the PAF as a 1st Airlift Wing Reserve unit since 2019.

“The dedication of our Allstar reservists to community service is deeply rooted in AirAsia Philippines’ commitment to readiness in responding to national crises, emergencies, rescue operations, humanitarian efforts, and medical missions. We have always cultivated a culture of readiness through CSR programs like alwaysREADY: anytime, anywhere, aiming to support disaster relief efforts in communities regardless of time and location,” AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla shared.

To date, AirAsia has 65 reservists, supporting community service through the 1st Airlift Wing, earning recognition as the Best Reserve Unit nationwide by the PAF. Oftentimes, Allstar reservists were also tapped to augment government relief efforts to typhoon stricken areas in far-flung provinces.

Dedicated Allstars

Throughout their journey, Allstars reservists underwent a 30-day Basic Citizen’s Military Training with eight weeks of theoretical learning coupled with three days of field training.

AirAsia Philippines Wing Commander, 1st Airlift Wing Reserve LTCOL Gomer Monreal, expressed his pride, saying, “In a testament to our commitment to national service, we proudly welcome the newest Allstar reservists now part of the esteemed PAF - Air Force Reserve Center.”

This initiative has been especially meaningful for AirAsia Allstars like ICT Head Jessie Kid Tan, the only Marksmanship Awardee among the whole class, who shared, “I’m honored to be part of this opportunity as it allows me to express my love for the country, while also developing valuable skills in leadership and teamwork. All these I apply in my line of work in AirAsia.”

Allstar Air Force Reservists also have the option to undergo Professional Military Education or PME courses should they seek promotion or active positions in the service.

Philippine Food Quiz Night a Hit Among Filipino Youths in Spain: Celebrating Gastronomy and Traditions


Philippine Food Quiz Night – a hit among the Filipino youths in Spain who attend event on Filipino gastronomy and traditions 

A total of 6 teams participated in the Philippine Food Quiz Night held at Kaboodle restaurant in Madridn

In celebration of the National Food month, the Philippine Embassy conducted a Philippine Food Quiz Night which proved to be a hit among the Filipino youths. Several teams joined the event to test their knowledge on Filipino gastronomy and traditions on 26 April 2024 using online Kahoot app and Jeopardy games. 


A total of 6 vying teams: Pinoy Ako team, Kare-Kare Four, Sini-gang, Team Namit, BBQ-ties and The Mighty Runners joined the fun event with lots of laughter and joyful spirit of camaraderie at Kaboodle Madrid restaurant (Calle Garellano, 11, Madrid) where everyone, despite their competitiveness, ended the program with such high emotions of happiness and are looking forward to another round of the quiz night very soon.

 A variety of sumptuous Filipino dishes were served after to the delight of the participants.

Two former auxiliares language assistants, who helped create the virtual Jose Rizal Walking Tour video, brought along their Spanish boyfriends as participants to the game, which won them second prize

The Pinoy Ako team won first prize. This cheerful group composed of Dulce, Shan, Jeona and Gio, has been very proactive in supporting many Embassy activities. Fourth from right is Richard Advincula, Filipino participant to the top Spanish culinary competition program “MasterChef España”, now works in a top restaurant for one of the program´s show host.
