The Perfect Pint: The Best Craft Beer in Town

The Perfect Pint: A Beer Revolution

I have yet to try a special kind of beer to be a fan, I am a wine person, so when I was invited to try what The Perfect Pint at Crossroads, BGC could offer  I said yes right away. We were served Katipunan or Indio Pale ale for you which has a sweet floral aroma and this distinct taste that would want you to savor the flavor, it is best served with their signature dish Heap of Bacon, it compliments the taste of this Indio Pale.  I also tried the Fat Pauly's ale, which has a faint sweetness and a balance of bitterness. One pint for me is more than enough.  To all the beer lovers,  this is the place to go, just try and let the taste speak itself.  The perfect pint is about enjoying what's in the glass. They also serve Irish Reda, Pivo Weisen, Pivo Dark, Pivo Classic, Wild Ride, Liberation and Fat Pauly's. And guess what I think Im developing a passion for craft beer.

A new gastro pub has opened in Bonifacio Global City, offering a revolution of sorts with a craft beer movement that’s out to shake things up in the Metro.

The Perfect Pint: Craft Beer + Fine Food, a concept developed by the Tempongko brothers: Alec, Noel Jr. and Raymond, is out to change the perception of beers in Manila.  This venture sought out by the three brothers is a little more than an attempt to make every man’s dream come true of owning his own bar.   It’s also a call to change the bar experience here in the Philippines.

The Perfect Pint does not serve local commercial beer. Instead, The Perfect Pint only offers craft beer, mostly of which are brewed locally by fellow Filipino-owned independent breweries.  Local beers from Katipunan Craft Ales, Craftpoint Brewing Company, Pivo Praha Corporation, G Point and Fat Pauly’s will be available on tap and bottles.

The Perfect Pint has sought out the help of highly-acclaimed Chef Gene Gonzalez and his team, to create menu items which paired perfectly with the different types of craft beers.  Some of the mouth- watering pairings include Truffle Fries with Czech Weizen, Kapal Muks with Pale Ale, Liver-wrapped bacon with Dark lager, Smoked Angus Tapa with Egg with Pale Ale and Stinky Pizza with Weizen. Even their dessert, freshly-baked caramel smores are paired with dark pilsen.

\Whether the aim is to a refreshing change in the beer landscape in the Philippines, support Filipino brewed craft beer or just plain offer a “notch higher” experience, it seems that The Perfect Pint is on its way to carving its own notch in the local scene.  A hand-painted sign on their wooden walls captures it all: “Savor the Flavor”.

The Perfect Pint is located at 2nd Floor CrossRoads Building, 32nd Ave. Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

  1. A great beer bar should offer a variety of food as well. Beer bars will typically hire in people to run their kitchens and use the titles chef and chef de cuisine to backup their menu. The idea is to pair great food with great beer. An average bar will serve burgers, fries, and some fried food but won't necessarily serve outstanding food. birra tanker black pearl series tatakoto bourbon barrel
