realme visits Iloilo for Creators Champ and C3 Fiesta

In its sustained effort to empower local creators and budding talent, realme Philippines launches the first-ever realme Creators Champ, an on-ground masterclass event designed to fuel the multi-passionate interests of the youth.

Mark your calendars because realme is about to roll out its nationwide invasion starting in Iloilo this Friday, May 19, from 5-7PM, at the B Lifestyle Complex (Bonds Coworking Space). Additionally, as the first city to have an officially signed executive order for expansion of esports in its locality, the realme Creators Champ Iloilo will be focusing on esports and mobile gaming.

The interactive discussion is powered by The Stylish Champion, realme C55 and will be spearheaded by three pillars of the realme Esports family, all hailing from the Visayas region: Arjay “Santie” Magcalas, the breakout shoutcaster of MPL Season 9; Jam Montehermoso, organizer of E-Palarong Pambansa and creator of ILO Esports; and Joemar Vasquez Jr., Squad Leader and avid gamer.

On top of the firsthand knowledge, tips, and tricks for mastering your favorite mobile games, attendees will also get the chance to win exclusive realme tokens and an all-new realme smartphone equipped for any mobile game. Interested fans can sign up via this link until May 18:

Don’t miss your chance to Meet the Champs!

Arjay Magcalas, now famously known as “Santie” in the Mobile Legends scene, is a young esports talent from Capiz. He started out as an aspiring MLBB Professional Player, but got discovered for his shoutcasting ability and eventually made it to the MPL Season 9 roster through the Next Caster Search, back in 2021.

He attributes his casting style to the Manjeanboo Duo (Manjean and Sh1n Boo, both also part of the realme esports family). Santie took his love for esports even to the academe, which earned him a Ten Outstanding Students of Capiz Award.

Jam Montehermoso is an advocate of gaming as a track for the youth in the Visayas region. He was the founder of ILO Esports, one of the first government-backed esports organizations in the Philippines. Just this year, he organized the E-Palarong Pambansa, a national tournament circuit inspired by the annual Palarong Pambansa endorsed by the National Youth Commission.

Lastly, Joemar Vasquez Jr. is a realme Philippines Community Squad Leader since 2021. Hailing from Tigbauan, Iloilo City, he has been actively participating in realme events for two years, and continues to be an avid mobile gamer since 2013.

Catch realme at the Cosplay Comic Collectibles Fiesta 2023!

realme Philippines will also be participating as one of the official event sponsors and exhibitors at the Cosplay Comic Collectibles Fiesta 2023. With the tagline “Cosplay, the Pinoy Way”, the two-day convention celebrates Filipino-made and Japanese-inspired works of art as seen in pop culture, anime, toys, movies, music, and gaming.

C3 Fiesta provides an interactive avenue for the entire community to bond over their mutual passions: throughout the event there will be Fan Meets, Watch Parties, Cosplay Runway Contests, and exclusive performances. Most notably, realme’s brand ambassadors, the P-Pop group VXON, will be performing live on stage on Day 2 at 3PM. Aside from this, you can catch them at the realme booth for a chance to take photos with the P-Pop group and even take home exclusive VXON-signed photocards!

Catch it this weekend, from May 20-21, at the Iloilo Convention Center. Tickets start at only P499 and are still available via SM Tickets Online.
